On health care, virtually every political error that could be made was made.

The one big strategic error - which was a political error and an economic error of grand proportions - was the prescription drug bill.

And so our goal on health care is, if we can get, instead of health care costs going up 6 percent a year, it's going up at the level of inflation, maybe just slightly above inflation, we've made huge progress. And by the way, that is the single most important thing we could do in terms of reducing our deficit. That's why we did it.

Girls Were Made To Take Care Of Boys
Ralph blane
Girls were made to take care of boys
To be kind and dutiful
Hmmm...
Girls were made to take care of boys
Made to share their sorrows
Made to share their joys
Made to help and guide them
With ever a patient hand
Made to give affection
In the right direction
(always understand)
Now boys may think they take care of girls
Just because they pass on their fashions and their curls
But Ive always found
Its just the other way around
(other way around)
If you need the girl
And declare you do
(tell her that you need her)
Shell be there
To take care of you
(shell be there)
(now boys may think they take care of girls
Just because theyre clever with their fashions and their curls)
But Ive always found
Its just the other way around

I care more about telly because it made me an actor and there's a much more immediate response to TV. You can address the political or cultural fabric of your country.

You Made Me Belive
You made me believe we are meant to be
You made me believe in more than just you and me
You made me believe in something rare
You made me believe in something we share
You made me believe miracles could happen
you made me believe I could do something's i never knew I could do
You made me believe,
its sounds kinda funny,
but you made me believe
IN LOVE
Thats sweeter than honey

God
{b-side of purple rain}
In the beginning, there was god
He made the earth, and the heavens
He gave us light to rule the day
And another light to rule the night
The lord, thy god
Made, he made the seas
He made the fruit upon the trees
When he saw, when he saw that it was good
He made a man, made a man
Only he could, only he could
God made u
God made me too
He made us all
Made us all equally
Now u say
God made u
God made me
He made us all equally
Wake up children
Dance the dance electric
There isnt much time
Who screamed?
Was it u?

No Matter How Long It Takes!
There is something about the 'not' caring,
That makes the more of it done.
When I hear someone say,
They could care less...
I know they care too much!
Usually that statement is made
By someone who wants to declare
A caring that had been there...
Is gone!
How wrong!
I remember in my 'last' relationship...
Which seems many years ago!
Well...
It was many years ago,
But that is not my point I wish to make!
I was told, 'I don't care about you.
Where you go or what you do! '
Of course,
I knew then that this was some kind of ploy.
To get me seduced to a manipulation of sorts!
Well...
That person left!
Believing I didn't think they really care.
I know they do!
And I have been waiting for an apology!
I am patient like that.
No matter how long it takes!
So if it has been thirty years?
I can be just as stubborn!
They will eventually realize the 'error' of their ways.
And I?
Well...
I do pride myself on having incredible patience.

Anywhere you have extreme poverty and no national health insurance, no promise of health care regardless of social standing, that's where you see the sharp limitations of market-based health care.

God made you our mother
God made you our mother
To raise and take care of us
God made you our mother
To love and stand by us
God made you our mother
Because he knew you are the best
God made you our mother
So we could have some one to talk to
God made you our mother
Because we would love you the most
God made you our mother
Because he knew we all would be close
God made you our mother
Because you are the perfect one for us

We immigrants can sometimes sound a little hysterical about this because we come from places that have tried this and we know where it leads. Anybody who's lived in countries with socialized health care knows that it becomes the dominant political issue.

Man Made The Gun
Man made the gun a sado sexual machine
Its slaughter brings you to your knees
Man made the gun
Who is the person that is holding on
Whats in his mind where is he looking from
Isnt he the one we should be gazing on contemplating on
cos man made the gun
Man shapes the son
Man made the gun
While there is evil in this world
We try to save our boys and girls
Man made the bomb
That doesnt mean that we should turn them on
Or ever yearn him on
cos man made the gun
Man shapes the son
Man made it man made it

All I Ever Have To Be
When the weight of all my dreams
Is resting heavy on my head,
And the thoughtful words of health and hope
Have all been nicely said.
But Im still hurting,
Wondering if Ill ever be
The one I think I am.
I think I am.
Then you gently re-remind me
That youve made me from the first,
And the more I try to be the best
The more I get the worst.
And I realize the good in me,
Is only there because of who you are.
Who you are...
And all I ever have to be
Is what youve made me.
Any more or less would be a step
Out of your plan.
As you daily recreate me,
Help me always keep in mind
That I only have to do
What I can find.
And all I ever have to be
All I have to be
All I ever have to be
Is what youve made me.

Made For Each Other!
Till the end, come with me,
I am a fragrant flower for a bee,
Head of intelligence to show you,
Let us have the garden, trouble free, .
Magic moments of eternal love,
Pass through many births of a dove,
Presence of you afar seems to be near,
Not even near, but in my heart safer,
You have made me to blabber a bit,
You have made me to rekindle a bit,
You have made me to dream a lot,
You have made me to worry a lot.
When you feel the same, what I feel now,
When you like the things, that is in my mind,
When you do spontaneously what I want to have,
We are made for each other to care and love.

Our own political life is predicated on openness. We do not believe any group of men adequate enough or wise enough to operate without scrutiny or without criticism. We know that the only way to avoid error is to detect it, that the only way to detect it is to be free to enquire. We know that the wages of secrecy are corruption. We know that in secrecy error, undetected, will flourish and subvert.

A Hundred Thousand Canadian Reasons
A hundred thousand abortions a year don’t make much sense,
Paid for by our health-care system in lots of dollars and cents,
Is our health care system being gutted by the price of abortions?
Is the number of dead babies being published in these distortions?
Might this be the reason why you can’t get that MRI?
Money spent on abortions and not you and now you know why,
Politicians and bureaucrats will avoid all these questions,
Not mentioned in the media either and please no suggestions.
I realize this was an appointed Supreme Court decision,
Not discussed in parliament so no political supervision,
No referendums, no propositions and no judicial reviews,
No plebiscites, proportional representation or strange views.

2 Prince, Another One I Wrote
Murder is losing its mind, I am losing my patience
Chris Hani was murdered on 10 April
Political reasons are speculations
Speculation is a political reason
An African political prince
Was butched motive is mysterious
The brutal murder is a fatal error
This world is unjust
The land I see was sad
And the soil I walk in felt the pain
Lucky Dube was murdered on 19 October
An African prince of reggae was assassinated
Political reasons are speculations
Speculation is a political reason
Still the cause murder is baffling
Butchered for the love of the nation
And passion for country men
