None More Selfish Than I
Some humans are such selfish creatures and none more selfish than I
The World revolves around me and praise of self I do enjoy
Some call it self survival or call it what you may
And meanwhile people dying of hunger every day.
I've never known what it feels like to be hungry or known of hunger pain
Yet of my poor existence I often do complain
So many poor and oppressed people would envy one like me
It surely can be a relative thing when one talks of poverty.
I meet so many selfish people who for themselves only care
Of the sufferings of others they don't even seem to care
As well as self centred they are ignorant and without thinking they say
That poverty is self inflicted in the World of today.

Indebted to Greed
When you perceived my abilities useless,
And of them you had no need.
You reduced from yourself,
A need I could feed you believed.
An assisting of your prosperity.
Your only vision was to prevent me,
From succeeding.
And in doing so.
You increased your own limitations,
That affected your own opportunities.
People like you,
Believe to have money is success.
But it is the deed that is exchanged,
That feeds the need.

Understandable hate
There is only one understandable thing about hate,
it can take over me at any second,
my heart with hate is almost like a crate,
holes everywhere,
destroying everything in its path,
i understand the hate,
i take what i feel,
just to create the hate i need to survive,
on hate i thrive,
the hate makes me cut,
the cuts make me bleed,
the blood releases the hate,

Obsession
People get obsessed sometimes
with something from the past.
It clouds their judgement
with any future partner.
They see the same traits
within everything they do
no matter how innocent they are.
Their obsession becomes
detrimental to the relationship they have.
They construe everything
as being the same as the past.
Then they begin to play big brother
watching their every move,
accusing them with everything they do.
Their obsession becomes bigger
until it begins to consume them
in every move they make.
The biggest problem is they cannot see it,
and how it is destroying their life.
They feel no one needs space,
a time on their own.
If their partner takes that space,
they are up to something
that they shouldn’t be doing.
Soon the obsession leads to paranoia
and what they had good
begins to collapse around them
never to be retrieved again.

Obsession is an irrational desire,

Yes and our obsession with youth in our culture and how we, women lie about their age after 35 obsessively and no one wants to let anyone know they're getting older, et cetera.
The more decadent a culture gets, the more they have a need for what they don't have at all, which is innocence, so you end up with kiddie porn and a perverse obsession with youth.
