Socrates

One who is injured ought not to return the injury, for on no account can it be right to do an injustice; and it is not right to return an injury, or to do evil to any man, however much we have suffered from him.

The downside isn't really injury, fear of injury or the process of fighting back from injury. The downside, the very worst thing in the world, is surgery.

What I Call It

I had a brain injury.
I have a brain injury.
I injured my brain.
There.
I said it four times.

Wrote poem once about
a moth flew round light
in circles till dead.
It
flies through my mind still,
time after time.
Afraid.
What I've lost.
Not quite the same.
Does it matter?

Don't think.

There are some cases in which the sense of injury breeds not the will to inflict injuries and climb over them as a ladder, but a hatred of all injury.

Before You Go Away

before you go away
please return
everything that i
have given you.

return my kisses
my hugs and embraces
return my blanket
the warmth
i have shared with you
when you were
so cold
on that damp
room. Please return
them immediately

before you go away
please account
all the moments
i have given you

and if you are finished
all these undoing
you may go

rest assured
i am whole again
and love another one
much better than
you: ingrate!

Technically, the last number of years, partially from the injury, it's been difficult to push forward but I felt even before the injury that I still could do more and was sort of at a stalemate.

Ive Suffered A Head Injury

Vanilla ice man cometh, goeth
Sampling, dealing, music stolen
To pre-pubescent girls appealing
Re-mix record contract sealing
Borrowed lyrics sung with feeling slumping
Record sales are healing
Concert hall promoters kneeling
Keeping grateful deadheads relling
Quite suppressed yet quite revealing
Influence is far from stealing
Ive suffered a head Ive suffered a head injury
Ive suffered a head Ive suffered a head injury
Techno-pop kids, stardoms rockets
Money in their labels pocket
Unrelentless, thoughtless selling
Busting charts, atop theyre dwelling
Lacking substance story telling
Lost the message in this yelling
Robbing fortunes from the willing
Endless posing, mindless chilling
Plastic icing airtime filling
Instigating art-rock killing
(repeat chorus)

Ch 01 Manner of Kings Story 30

A padshah having issued orders to kill an innocent man, the latter said: ‘"O king, seek not thine own injury on account of the anger thou bearest towards me." He asked: "How?" The man replied: "This punishment will abide with me one moment but the sin of it for ever with thee."

The period of life has passed away like the desert wind.
Bitter and sweet, ugliness and beauty have passed away.
The tyrant fanded he had done injury to us.
It remained on his neck and passed away from us.
This admonition having taken effect, the king spared his blood.

Evil is seen,

Evil is seen,
Evil is seen,
Always from what People do,
Most of them still Cannot Believe it,
My Spiritual Being saw alot of Evil from the Earthly dwelling,
Living that I may see the Evil from the Other Side,
Mankind is Ruined with Injustice,
In all Matters that lead to Success,
It is my own Being that Suffered to reach this Level,
My God is not Unjust,
It is by His Love that I see Mercy and Grace,
Moving on Forward than Ever Before,
There is alot of Evil seen on Earth,
I have seen what Mankind hast Done,
Realised that they all Fail by their own yoke of Injustice.

Lord Buddha the Guide

He was born in Lumbin,
Delivered his first sermon in Saranath,
And shed his body in Kushinara,
The Lord Buddha, the Light of Asia.

He is
Siddhartha, the one who accomplishes,
Tathagata, the perfect one,
Bhudhisattva, the enlightened one,
Sakhya Muni, the ascetic of Sakhya clan,
Goutama, the ascetic,
And Jina, the conqueror.

Truths are four:
The existence of sorrow;
There is cause for it;
Cessation of the cause;
The conquest.

Rules are five:
Abstinence from injury;
Abstinence from stealing;
Abstinence of wrongful indulgence;
Abstinence of falsehood;
Abstinence from intoxication.

Paths are eightfold:
Right understanding;
Right thoughts;
Right speech;
Right action;
Right living;
Right effort;
Right mindfulness;
Right contemplation

Self indulgence and
Self mortification,
Are two extreme steps;
Choose the middle path.

To eat and drink, to live
Is not evil.
To do to be merry is evil.
To nurse the health is not evil.
To do the opposite is evil.
The one who conquers the all
But not one’s self, conquers nil.

Buddha ruled ‘the Hindus’
Before Rama and Krishna ruled.
His shrines had been replaced
With the shrines of Hindus,
Which were again replaced
With the shrines of Islam.
If Buddha is to return to his place,
Rama has no place to return to.

I Am Wearied

Return to me like a ghost, a wearied creature like a man
Who was so appalled by youth that he died and became as I can.
Return to me as if you know me from somewhere else,
The place is no secret from where you came, someone else.
Return now, return and frighten me as a good ghost
Frying bacon, working magic on a basis easternmost.
I seek refuge from you, for the returning is so secret,
I can not find a more evil man than you, a man to interpret.

Deer Season

Pray, pray, pray
On the hunting grounds
For the sad and sweet animals
Falling to the ground
In the sport of bloodlust.

We’ve been here before
Innumerable times,
We keep returning
To pay for our crimes.

For every act of malicious injury and death
A soul must return
For a thousand rebirths
To suffer the fears and pangs
And the heartbreaks of existence.

Return Trip

I will return to my place of Birth
To that place before Mother Earth
I will return to that Day of Awakening
To that Day of a New Beginning

I will return to my very first Sun
My very first Moon, my very first Star
I will return to that place that never was far

I will return to the land of the Beautiful,
the Good, the Grateful
Where there is nothing to forgive
For there is no sin
Where there is no regret
Life is what you dream

Where Innocence is never put to test
Where all is Sacred and blessed with Happiness

I will return to my place and time of Birth
I will return
I am not Cursed

Decision to Be Vindictive

I am going to return what I get.
Whether that be a bad attitude,
Or an evil disposition.
No sulking done will I do...
To appease the few who initiate conflict.
I am going to return what I get.
And address it without disappointment met.

I am going to return what I get.
This forgiving to forget nonsense,
Is only perfectly done in written text.
People awaken in the morning,
With a decision to be vindictive.
And the clown in me...
Chooses not to let them down!

The Return.

For the ones who would return from the hell,
Some unable to talk, others, tales to tell.
Of heroism and loud glories,
Or of sadder muted stories.
Boys return as men,
Men return never the same.
All return with some sort of pain.
