I like being in control of making all the major decisions pertaining to my projects. That's something that you don't get to do in a group. Everything has to be voted on - every minor decision.

When making a decision of minor importance, I have always found it advantageous to consider all the pros and cons. In vital matters, however, such as the choice of a mate or a profession, the decision should come from the unconscious, from somewhere within ourselves. In the important decisions of personal life, we should be governed, I think, by the deep inner needs of our nature.

Minor Earth, Major Sky
(magne furuholmen / paul waaktaar)
I cant see me in this empty place
Just another lonely face
I cant see me here in outer space
Its so hard to leave a trace
And I try and I try and I try
But it never comes out right
Yes I try and I try and I try
But I never get it right
Its a
Minor earth major sky
I cant see me in this lonely town
Not a friendly face around
Can you hear me when I speak out loud
Hear my voice above the crowd
And I try and I try and I try
But it never comes out right
Yes I try and I try and I try
But I never get it right
Its a
Minor earth major sky
But I try and I try and I try
But it never comes out right
Yes I try and I try and I try
But I never get it right
Its a
Minor earth major sky

Ground Control to Major Tom
Ground Control to Major Tom
Take your protein pills and put your helmet on
Ground Control to Major Tom
Commencing countdown, engines on
Check ignition and may God's love be with you
Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five,
Four, Three, Two, One, Liftoff
This is Ground Control to Major Tom
You've really made the grade
And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
"This is Major Tom to Ground Control
I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today
For here
Am I sitting in a tin can
Far above the world
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do
Though I'm past one hundred thousand miles
I'm feeling very still
And I think my spaceship knows which way to go
Tell me wife I love her very much she knows"
Ground Control to Major Tom
Your circuit's dead, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you hear me, Major Tom?
Can you....
"Here am I floating round my tin can
Far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue
And there's nothing I can do.

A Minor Key
A minor key, a minor key
has really taken over me.
It's got me low, so darned low
as low as I can ever go.
Those saddened tones with its minor 3rds
have influenced what I say with words.
So many days have passed me by
when the minor 3rds have made me cry.
Tomorrow I'll raise them a half tone
to stop the pain that seems to have grown.
Oh sweet music take me back
to a major sound. It's what I lack.

Most discussions of decision making assume that only senior executives make decisions or that only senior executives' decisions matter. This is a dangerous mistake.

Decisions
At the times decisions must be had, we weigh the good and the bad.
Decisions not always cut and dry, being left too often to wonder why,
What decision bears more weight, on the scale that people call fate?
Why do these things happen to me, just what is it that I can not see?
With decisions made from the heart, reason sometimes plays no part.
There is never rhyme or reason, when it’s your heart you’re pleasing.
And reason can seem kind of cold, when a decision seems to be bold.
However, it is never fate my friend, with our God, who knows the end.
With any decision that you make, there’s a chance a heart will break.
But you must remember my friend, that in due time hearts will mend.
Decisions come in various kinds, and burden both hearts and minds.
Whatever the decision, be assured, guidance is offered by The Lord.
Friend, you can humbly go to God, and He will light the path to trod.
And when you truly seek His face, God will fill your heart with Grace.
Make the decision and take a stand, even if others don’t understand.
If someone towards you is unkind, Christ will give you peace of mind.
The Lord will light the proper path, guiding you from the unkind wrath.
If you have never sought The Lord, He’s truly a source to be implored.
Christ will then show you the way, to make a decision in a Godly way.
With God make your decision then, leave it with The Savior my friend.

A Flower To Auroville Mother-59
Lesser periwinkle(Vinca minor)
Large Leaf Periwinkle(Vinca major)
So a chosen one you are
As by divine order angels
Over the ranges at times
Stepping along to answer
So you are as Periwinkle
Major, minor leaves varying
Leathery or plain spreading
Blue, violet, rare-white winkle
So over the Himalayas you are
A treatment magical by heaven
Penta-petaled southward even
May be unto me by divine order

Scenario Difficult Decisions
difficult decisions
to make requires
time needs energy
focus firm resolve
quite meditation
to recharge batteries
praying for guidance
and strength is good
difficult decisions
can be hard
we can only
try our best
we rarely know
in major decisions
our best solutions
what is best
for each of us
God knows?

Making Decisions
We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!
We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!
How often does a hindsight renew,
A clearer vision wished we had then used.
How often do we then excuse this...
As mistakes we've made,
Too late to shake away.
To turn around unphased,
Just to have things our way!
We make decisions.
Some of them quick.
Some of them split.
Some of them mixed,
With a wish to quit...
Making decisions we have to admit!
How often does a hindsight renew,
A clearer vision wished we had then used.
While making decisions wearing the same old shoes.

Landslide
(john farrar)
Cold winds rarely blow
Here at the end of the rainbow
Guess its hard to believe
Id be willing to leave
Someone walked up behind me
Seemed to find me
I felt him standing there, I turned around and
Saw the face of an angel, I fell
It wasnt fair, it just wasnt fair
He took my heart, it was a landslide
You know it was a landslide
My head was saying this is the man
My heart agreed
My minor desires turned to major needs
My needs wont be denied
It was a landslide
Somehow Im thrilled by all he says
High on his campaign promises
I dont wanna come down
I dont wanna come down
But no promises he made me could persuade me
Like the loneliness that comes on when i
Try to go on without him
Try to doubt him
I confess, I have to confess
He took my heart, it was a landslide
You know it was a landslide
My head was saying this is the man
My heart agreed
My minor desires turned to major needs
My needs wont be denied
It was a landslide
Im in heaven when hes around
In heaven when hes around
And Im hoping that he might be
Feeling the same as me
Im in heaven, heaven
It isnt hard to see
He took my heart, it was a landslide
You know it was a landslide
My head was saying this is the man
My heart agreed
My minor desires turned to major needs
My needs wont be denied
It was a landslide
Im gonna tell everybody I see
Hes the only party for me
It really was a, it really was a
You know it was a landslide
It really was a landslide
My head was saying this is the man
My heart agreed
My minor desires turned to major needs
My needs wont be denied
It was a landslide
Ooh it was a landslide
He took my heart, it was a landslide
Oh it was a landslide
He took my heart, it was a landslide
Oh it was a landslide

A Melody In Soft Gilded Brown (Revised)
There's always a heroine playing the ivories in my heart,
she plays Schubert's Impromptu in A-flat major beautifully
tonight - light-flashing notes, rolling whirlpools encircling
a melody in soft gilded brown
I follow in dance, turning whorls twirling, move to and
fro, up and down, weave musical lines in my heart until
circles heave in emotion, reach a peak and melody gilded
in soft velvet brown breathes tranquil serenity
My heart's secret place engulfs everyday life, revels in
memory of every great love, assigns delight to everyone,
each ray of sunshine, all moonbeams safe in a place
where no blight of being can touch - a Platonic world
Perfect of ideas where beauty remains an ideal
calling the dreamer forth - briefly adorning the
face of every smiling human being…
No.4 in A-flat major
The fourth Impromptu, in A-flat major, actually begins in
A-flat minor, though this is written as A-flat major with accidentals. The opening theme consists of cascading
arpeggios followed by murmuring chordal responses.
These are repeated and developed, going through C-flat
major and B minor before finally reaching A-flat major.
A subordinate theme is accompanied by the arpeggio figure,
varied with triplets. In the central section, in C-sharp
minor, the arpeggios are replaced by a chordal accompaniment venturing into the major mode towards its conclusion, but
reverts to the minor. The opening section is repeated and
the work ends in A-flat major. The tempo marking is
Allegretto.

CHANGE TRUDEAU'S CHARTER AGAIN May 16th,2011
We should have a better constitution than Trudeau’s Charter,
Written back around the time of President Jimmy Carter,
Times have changed, so we should updat it with proper additions,
More in keeping with what’s missing and our modern conditions.
We should have a competition to see who can get it right,
Then vote for it in a plebiscite and no need to be uptight,
We need binding referendums and death with dignity soon,
We need proportional representation with this opportune.
We the people should have plebiscites on major decisions,
In order to avoid possible major national divisions,
Where controversial High Court decisions can be annulled,
Where their ancient red Santa Clause costumes should be mulled.
