If ev'ryone believed in adulthood,
We would not behave like impish children.
If ev'ryone believed in something good,
Perhaps our evils would never happen.
If ev'ryone believed in honesty,
Thoughts would not require representation.
If ev'ryone believed in identity,
Each person would not crave affirmation.

Survival in a stable environment depends almost entirely on remembering the strategies for survival that have been developed in the past, and so the conservation and transmission of these becomes the primary mission of education. But, a paradoxical situation develops when change becomes the primary characteristic of the environment. Shadows of night falling over my head
People walking
Passing me by
Shadows of dreams falling out of the blue
People talking
What can I do
Where do I go from here

Believing

I never believed a time would come
when roses would lose their scent.
I always believed a space would come
to separate a knave from a gent.
I never believed that time could bring
a silence within your heart.
I always believed that a song to sing
would always do its part
to lift your spirits to the sky
and never have you cry.

All of this believing is too upsetting.
And its only worth is forgetting.

Not to say what everyone else was saying

not to do what everybody did,
then to refute what everyone else was saying
then to disprove what everyone else believed

He took away my only angel

I was perfectly fine in the life I stood
It was nowhere close to perfect
But I wouldn't call it miserable
I was fine the way I was

I was used to hiding in myself
I was used to living and talking to myself
I didn't like sitting in the corner by myself
But I hated talking to new people more
I didn't even mind being alone

Then you came along
Bringing something I never knew
Something I strongly desired
But more deeply feared

An egg too proud to rape
The beginning of a shape of things to come
That starts the run
Life has begu
Fly fast the gun
The mother flew too late
And life within the egg was left to fate
Not really knowing how
The world outside would take it when it came
And lifes the same
For things we aim
Are we to blame?
