The first thing I do when I read a part is see if I can identify emotionally with a character. If I make that connection, everything else is just working on knowing their life circumstances and manifesting those through practice and research.

What's most interesting and most real to me in my work is to never make the role a complete character, because then you lose a part of the truth. I can't say that this person is just like this or like that. Because you can never do that with real people in real life, so if you try that on stage you lose the truth. Since I myself strive to be able to be a great many things, I also want my character to have that very same liberty. Eventually in that way it will add to a sort of completeness. But it is the story that is told that is the interesting thing and the situations the character is in. And as we humans always are shaped by a special situation or given circumstances, I can never ever say: Thus is my character.

Proud Parents
What you read about in books isn't enough.
You must do to truly learn.
The action in which you earn.
A higher knowledge.
A higher calling.
Help is needed but only dire circumstances.
But still you need to experience these circumstances.
To understand the risk involved.
Cause one day even if you had a life jacket.
It might dissolve.
All on your own.
Knowing not what to do.
The wrong answer for kids to say is they don't have a clue.
Sometimes it might be hard to get through.

God Will
“God will” we read all over His Word, Truth to us that can be inferred,
Into the lives of both me and you, for what God says, God shall do,
For everywhere we read “God will”, The Lord above will indeed fulfill,
As God fulfills every jot and tittle, working in all things, big and little.
Everywhere these words are read, in Scripture, He’ll do what He said,
All of Scripture, which we read, especially “God will” we should heed,
For God shall finish His Will and Plan, in the life of every single man,
As on this His Earth, every single life, will be judged by Jesus Christ.
God is Love, but must be just, His unchanging character all can trust,
God will show His Justice my friend, all men shall see in the very end,
Even though amoral forces assail, God’s ultimate justice shall prevail,
For He is God and as God must be, true to His Nature, for all will see.
Men will change, but God will never, as God’s Word shall last forever,
God’s Will and Purpose always suits, His Timeless, Eternal attributes,
In spite of what men believe and say, and while earth shall pass away,
God’s Attributes and Will together, remain unaltered, now and forever.
God’s Righteousness will one day fill, a New Earth, as God said it will,
Though God’s Judgment soon will fall, grace and mercy is open to all,
By knowing God and all that He said, we’re filled with hope, not dread,
As God will sound the trumpet for us, to take us home to Christ Jesus.

The same thing that makes me nervous, which is never knowing what will happen next. That's what I love about it. I never know what character I'm going to play next, I never know what location I'll be in next. With each new character, I find something new about myself that I didn't know before.

Wise and Wisdom
The nature of wisdom,
The nature of insight is such that
If you know that something is good and

If you want to develop wisdom and deep insight,

Quit looking for your salvation from the emotionally stunted people
We forget that we are part of the very core of creation, thus we are an expression of creation. From time to time we incarnate into families that is into circumstances that shame us out of are core, of who we are, this starts from birth, such feelings begin in the womb from the circumstances that surround the mother. The way out of such feelings is in. Own your feelings, they are telling you that the environment that you were raised in was inadequate. Quit looking for your salvation from the emotionally stunted people of your past. Find it in people who are able and willing to own their projections, who are capable of really loving you, that is be with people who love you for you instead of trying to manipulate you into roles that validates their twisted and stunted sense of self.

I did this role in Life Goes On as an HIV positive character and so emotionally that was the most challenging.
I get a lot of mail from men who really identify with Stuart, you know, Sparrow's boyfriend. I love that. Even though I used to say I wanted men to read the strip even though there weren't any men in it, so they'd be forced to identify with the women.
