I felt a little green, because Shakespeare writes the thought process within the text; it was tricky not to think of what to say and then say it, and instead just deliver the lines.

Must
She writes as if there’s not much time.
She writes to pain, to happiness,
She writes to every remote detailed thought.
She writes to the departed,
to the extant,
to poverty,
to wealth.
She writes to mourn, and grief.
She writes to the wind, the rain,
forest, the desert, and mountains.
She writes to her pouring tears,
to her grateful moments,
She writes because really what she has is time.
She has no little ones to feed, or bathe,
nor a husband to make happy. To write is
to escape- to her. Time is not a problem, time
is just a killing system, she needs to kill in many words.
She writes as if there’s not much time.

Poem about Poetry - I know how God writes his poem
i know how god writes his poem
it is in the delicate, artistic and
defining lines of every flower
petals, pistil, stamen, pollens,
fragrant and scents that fill the air
i know how god writes his poem
it is in the ray of the sun
that reveals their metaphors
and rhymes in the rain
an arc over the clear blue sky
i know how god writes his poem
it is in your eyes, two lakes of honey
that sail me into your warm saccharine world
dilating and constricting to let them
speak more volume to my my lovelorn heart
i know how god writes his poem
it is in the dazzling lines of the sea
that shows the sky how many ways
it can define and redefine itself
it is in the breeze that pulls off a dancer
twirling towards me in every direction

This Process
This process.
As difficult as it is,
Gives an ease that seems to flow.
There is a representation that creates an image.
And that picture painted,
Allows what is in one mind to another show.
This process can also deliver emotions as well.
And the skill of it,
Can bring hardened eyes to soften with tears.
This process can even produce a fear.
With a rushing done by someone stunned,
To run from room to room...
With the turning on of every light,
With something firmly tight held near.
This process can invite those feelings of love.
And melt a cold shoulder.
Or...
Even heat a flame under burning sheets.
This process can also get extremely tired.
With a nodding of a process,
That introduces...
Sleep!

Shakespeare, Where Are You? (For Harold Bloom)
SHAKESPEARE, WHERE ARE YOU? (FOR HAROLD BLOOM)
Shakespeare, where are you?
You should be living at this hour.
Literature has need of you.
We have become a fen of stagnant voices
A parody of noble and great lines
All our efforts have become a deriding
Of our own spirit.
We need your Beauty and your Magnitude
The Metaphoric motions of your Incredible most awkward Lines
We need Your Richness and Your Song
Your Endless Entertainment of our own Emotions
Your deep play of Character and Feeling
We need you now Shakespeare
To remind us that to be Human
Is still to be the Glory Jest and Riddle
And that our voices somehow can still say
In Times beyond our own knowing
The wisdom and the way
To what is best within and beyond us

There Is A Time When Tired And Weak
THERE IS A TIME WHEN TIRED AND WEAK
There is a time when tired and weak
An old man can barely think
But writes nonetheless
A few small lines
To remind himself
That he still has a mind-
There is a time when tired and weak
An old man can barely speak
But writes nonetheless
A few small lines
To prove to himself
That he still is alive-
There is a time when tired and weak
And old man can barely dream
But writes nonetheless
A few small lines
To make himself believe
He still has time
There will be a time when tired and weak
An old man will be unable to read-
He will not write a few small lines
He will sit and wait
For the end of his life.

Deliver Me
Deliver me from darkness.
Deliver me from pain.
Deliver me from loneliness
and let love remain.
Deliver me from blindness.
Deliver me from chains.
Deliver me from unhappiness
and let drops of rain
Shower me with acceptance,
Shower me with song,
Shower me with goodness.
Deliver me from wrong.

In our daily lives as programmers, we process text strings a lot. So I tried to work hard on text processing, namely the string class and regular expressions. Regular expressions are built into the language and are very tuned up for use.

Deliver Me
deliver me...
from the fury, the noise,
and the roar of the wheel...
deliver me...
from my own insecurities,
my unconscious greed,
and my self driven fears.
deliver me...
from my conceptual understanding,
my limited knowledge,
and my worship of knowledge.
deliver me...
from all anger and hatred
in whatever disguise...
deliver me...
from being driven by
mouth and stomach unchecked,
from what i think i need.
deliver me..
from my countless mistakes,
and the excuses i make!
deliver me...
from any kind of pride
that closes the open hand!
deliver me...
from any sense of self
that would seperate and divide.
deliver me...
from laziness and tiredness,
from bitterness and lonliness.
deliver me...
from all forms of apathy,
and the want to possess...
deliver me...
and bring me to realize myself!

Time Lines
i have said nothing for time wont allow me.
time lines... time lines... time lines, what i felt for you has turned to confusion.
as time lines up our times together worry overshadows my 'influenced' judgement.
time lines..
our future perfectly sealed for i filled my heart with your promises.
time outlined your feelings for me..
times we spent together seem so far away like the times of the early bud.
our love has lost its will to florish like juliets rose.
time has outlined my affection for you.
time lines.. time lines..
the memories we once cherished together, the lines that have been put between us by time have destroyed the love once shared by you and me.
time has been thought to mend broken hearts ALAS, it has made matters worse.
time lines me and you. time lined our fate through spectatr critiques.
we possess souls joint together by time, YET its time that divides us.
time took its tole on our love.
is this forbidden love? that time has outlined
time lines my emotions of love for you..
time lines my emtions.
time lines.... time lines

Please Be The One
(gary burr, sunny russ)
This desert lies
Its so unfair
I think theres water everywhere
Im always fooled
Just when I think Im saved
But I dont have the strength
To do again
What always comes undone
Deliver me
Please be the one
Ive thought I wasted all those prayers
Till I looked up and you were there
Oh in your eyes
I see theres hope for me
I need your love
To finish off
What others have begun
Deliver me
Please be the one
Be the one who makes me see
Be wonderful a reason
Be the one who rescues me
With a love I can believe in
Let it be true
That you can do
What no one else has done
Deliver me
Please be the one
Oh deliver me
Please be the one

Many Younger People
So many younger people.
Speed through their lives like rockets.
And all they want to do,
Is display their bling.
They text their messages,
About the joys of having sex.
And think nothing about respecting.
Or the affects left by neglecting,
That process.
So many younger people.
Speed through their lives like rockets.
And all they want to do,
Is display their bling.
They text their messages,
About the joys of having sex.
And think nothing about respecting.
Or the affects left by neglecting,
That process.
Kicks they get,
From being loud and rude.
Even in school hallways,
They loosely talk of booty choosing...
Like it is kept,
In some treasured chest.
And most of them dress,
As if they wish for a nakedness.
While observing grown up little girls,
Exposing their butts...
And developed breasts.
As if soliciting themselves to be.
Sexpots or pets,
As they bend over demurely
Around and near their teachers' desks.
So many younger people.
Speed through their lives like rockets.
And all they want to do,
Is display their bling.
They text their messages,
About the joys of having sex.
And think nothing about respecting.
Or the affects left by neglecting,
That process.
So many younger people,
Get their kicks.
And aware of it.
They are.
As if
They have been taught,
This as a focus.

Don't Rush Through The Process
If I did not deliver to you my best each time...
What would be the point?
To show to you I can do this isn't easy.
To show to you I can do this,
Has not added hours to my sleep.
I have a need to prove to you,
I am dedicated.
I am loyal.
I am...
Are you listening to me?
'Yes.
I know you love me.
But making these errors...
I don't find acceptable.
Take your time.
Don't rush through the process.
I'm not going anywhere.'
That's what I am saying.
See how ungrateful you are?
'I am not ungrateful at all.
If you are calling 'this' your best...
I know you can deliver something far better!
Now...
IF you had said,
You were making attempts to produce your best...
I would not object at all.
In fact,
I would have thought of all of it as great.
And both of us would have been getting more rest!
But your confession that you can do better...
Has me wanting to get it as good as you can give it! '
I said nothing about doing or getting it better.
'No...
True!
'You' didn't.
I did! '

Razor
===========================
Smashing Pumpkins - Razor
===========================
Razor in my hand
Nine little lines in someone's hand
Shot down from this group
I wish for something and I know it isn't home
Razor in my hand
Six little lines in someone's hand
Lay down, rest your head
You reach for something, and you feel something sting
Razor, razor, razor, razor
Want it
Now you rip apart who you are
Deliver
Yeah, you deliver who you are
Oh, razor
My little razor
Oh, razor
I wanna go
I wanna go
I'm like a junkie, I want it all
I wanna go
Want it
Now you rip apart who you are
Deliver
Yeah, you deliver who you are
Oh, razor
My little razor
My little razor
I wanna go
I wanna go
I'm like a junkie, I want it all
I wanna go

I'll Do My Best To Deliver
Ask me for what you want.
Just ask me,
Ask me.
And make it anything,
You need...
From me.
Ask me for what you want.
Ask me for what you need,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
Ask me for what you want.
Just ask me.
Ask me.
Ask me for anything,
And I will fullfill...
That need.
Ask me for what you want.
Ask me for what you need,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
Oh ask me for what you want.
Ask me for what you need,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I will do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
And I will do my best to deliver.
Just ask me for what you want.
Just ask me for what you need,
And I will do my best to deliver.
Come thunderstorms, rain or shine...
That pressure you have will be taken right off your mind.
I will do my best to deliver.
Just ask me...
Ask me,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Ask me.
Just ask me.
Come thunderstorms, rain or shine.
That pressure you have will be taken right off your mind.
And I will do my best to deliver.
Just ask me...
Ask me,
And I'll do my best to deliver.
Just ask me...
Ask me,
And I will do my best to deliver.

Pimp In The Pulpit, And We Were Too Blind To See
Welcome, our new pastor to the pulpit
green suit, shining bright,
quided by the light, shining bright
should bring us some delight.
Soft words,
broken sentences
upholding no biblical text to us
Is he speaking the word, !
sounds foreign, his bliblical text to us..
Congregation quiet,
looking for something to
take in
broken hearts, broken spirits
Usually sounds of tears,
pleas of mercy
tongue spoken words you can hear
a message
for our new pastor to declare.
Someone shouts, ' speak pastor speak'
hoping Mr.Bright Green suit
should be deliveringl deliver loud and clear,
Amen, Amen, shouts someone from the back
from the congregation
Mr. Green suit hollars, falls down on the altar
passes out of our sight
water, water, get some water
What has happened to our new man of God?
Mr. Pimp in the pulpit has fallen
a hypocrite indeed
words spoken by God,
for us not to be too blind to see.
Soft, quiet unspoken words
to set us up to believe.
The PIMP IN THE PULPIT
What you needed to see
HE was Green with Envy,
and Greed
Can you believe......
