Carny Town
(words & music by wise - starr)
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Now the show youre going to see is strictly high class
Therell be ten hoola dancers shaking their grass
So step right up and put your money down
This way to carny town
We got a man so skinny you can see his bones
We play on his ribs like a xylophone
With a pair of spoons we get a rockin song
Youll hear it all, in carny town
Hurry, hurry, hurry, the house is almost full
We got a two headed cow and thats no bull
Theres a man who swallows swords and he never gets hurt
He eats razor blades for dessert
Hes just about the sharpest guy around
Youll see him here, in carny town
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha I say were gonna win
I said hurry up

Victoria Gardens
Youre looking and listening and hoping
That things are changing for the better
Youre trying to see if what youre teaching is the truth sir
Youre looking and listening and hoping
That things will change for better
Dont want to preach or teach the blues to you now brother
I just left victoria gardens
And walked through cardboard city land
A burnt out star was asking
How would I like to shake his hand
I walked on in no hurry (hurry hurry hurry)
And wondered where did we go wrong?
Were looking and listening and hoping
That things are changing for the better
Dont want to preach or teach the blues to you now brother
I walked on in no hurry (hurry hurry hurry)
And wondered where did we go wrong?
Looking listening hoping that things are changing for the better
(only time can tell)
Its a bloody fine situation
That we find ourselves in
He said something I couldnt mention (here)
And we laughed with him again
I walked on in no hurry (hurry hurry hurry)
And wondered where did we go wrong?
Looking listening hoping that things are changing for the better
And trying to see if what youre teaching is the truth sir
She said its for the good of us all
(of us all, of us all, of us all)
Looking listening hoping that things are changing for the better
Dont want to preach or teach the blues to you now brother
Im not so sure
(sure, sure, sure)
And now it is early evening
I look across grey leicester square
A large and silent crowd were walking
Said they had every right to be there

Objectified
All beautiful things meet their demise
Flowers in bloom surely will die
Frozen are the wings of the dead butterfly
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Clouds of gray spoil the light of the skies
The ocean must fall in order to rise
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
I knew I was doomed when you first said, “Hi.”
Two ships in the night, we were bound to collide
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Four months can pass in the blink of an eye
We lose ourselves without having to try
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
The simplest words become hard to define
You can’t see the truth when you cover your eyes
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Your pay the price to take this ride
Slowly, you find that you’re living a lie
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Pictures of us will fade over time
We become strangers in a world so wide
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
You’ll keep on searching for what you won’t find
You’ll lose your faith while I lose my mind
Because all beautiful things meet their demise
All beautiful things meet their demise
Sometimes your morals get left behind
It will be too late when you realize
Because all beautiful things meet their demise

On pilgrimage
Neither you are on pilgrimage
Nor on conduction of any voyage
You got to make it heaven
At the cost of you life even
Make it worth
Even if pain and agony comes forth
See that you have lived life
Even though it may have double edge of knife
Life on earth is really a blessing
You may find everything missing
There won’t be anything worth
Yet it is beautiful on earth
You may have free air
But still doesn’t look everything fair
You may have rivers plenty of water
Yet you may think it to alter
You may find high mountains
Still more height of it you may maintain
You may think always in term of gain
Get puzzled with little of shock and pain
So take it as chance to see and think
Everything here is not to sink
Take whatever benefit you can
Love the beauty of nature and become a fan
Nature may reward
If you enjoy and look forward
Think it is creation of almighty God
Every object may seem as beautiful as Lord
Your stay is for limited span
Swim over water as white swan
Enjoy every surface you come across
You may everything in his Cross
I, for one, may go for simple stay
Greet the things which may come on the way
Enjoy all beautiful things created on earth
I may enjoy even end resulting into death

Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!
Hurry up to fall in love!
Be surprised how beautiful it is!
Hurry up to speak of love!
Realize that these words can anyone please.
To give yourself to others –
What happiness it is!
All people are sisters and brothers
Take care of friendship, please!
Don’t hide the feelings of admiration!
It’s a foundation of love creation.
Use your brain but more imagination
If you want to find the right station.
Hurry up to be needed by someone!
Don’t suffer of senseless doubts!
Everyone on the Earth needs love,
No one wants the bailouts.
Hurry up to mourn and even to cry!
Those are forlorn whose eyes are always dry.
With every breath the time runs out,
Every moment of life is a gift beyond any doubt.
Don’t break the harmony of life
For the only sake of a strife.
Have a look at the situation twice or even thrice
You will find for sure a compromise.
Hurry up to love the rain and the snow!
Hurry up to love everything that grow!
Hurry up to love the hot and the cold
Hurry up to love the young and the old.
Hurry up to live in winter and summer!
Find the beauty in autumn and spring!
Appreciate a farmer who works hard
And…present you a pumpkin on Halloween.
Hurry up to listen and hear!
Feel the souls of those who are dear!
Hurry up and be happy today!
Nothing for tomorrow delay!
Summing up I repeat again:
Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!

Ignorance Is Beautiful
She taught me two things,
‘Ignorance and Beautiful.'
One day, she told me,
'Let me tell you,
The meaning of Beautiful.
God is beautiful,
Nature is beautiful,
Life is beautiful,
Love is beautiful,
Care is beautiful,
Share is beautiful,
Understanding is beautiful,
Trust is beautiful,
Faith is beautiful,
Passion is beautiful,
Compassion is beautiful,
Air is beautiful,
Water is beautiful,
Earth is beautiful,
Fire is beautiful,
Energy is beautiful,
Here is beautiful,
There is beautiful,
Everywhere is beautiful,
Everyone is beautiful,
Everything is beautiful.'
I had to intervene,
'Looks the universe is beautiful,
But what is most beautiful? '
The reply comes full and straight,
'Ignorance is awesomely beautiful.'

Pale Blue Eyes
Sometimes I feel so happy
Sometimes I feel so sad
Sometimes I feel so happy
But mostly you just make me mad
Baby, you just make me mad
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Thought of you as my mountain top
Thought of you as my peak
A thought of you as everything
Ive had, but couldnt keep
Ive had, but couldnt keep
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Skip a life completely
Stuff it in a cup
They said, money is like us in time
It lies, but cant stand up
Down for you is up
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
It was good what we did yesterday
And Id do it once again
The fact that you are married
Only proves youre my best friend
But its truly, truly a sin
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
If I could make the world as pure
And strange as what I see
Id put you in a mirror
Id put in front of me
Id put in front of me
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes
Linger on your pale blue eyes

Children at Play, God is at coherent Display!
Life itself is a journey,
Enjoy it like kid,
Being a child with Children
Being one of them is Spirit
`Beingfulness,
Not look at the road and traffic only like a driver,
Know every inch of the route,
Just as kid enjoying nature around,
No hurry in reaching the destination,
Only enjoy beauty around,
Take sufficient time to learn,
Learning new things,
good and updated,
Learning and enjoying like a kid,
Healing all of Self in Essence,
`Happiness in heart and spreading it around..! ! !
Beauty of nature watched with clear vision and wide eyes,
Beauty of life around,
Appreciating whole heartedly,
Just absorb the beauty into heart,
Let it bloom like beautiful flower!
Find Joy in work,
Perform duties joyfully,
Completion of job will bring blissful satisfaction!
Children are flowers in God's garden,
They at innocent Play look beautiful, and thier smile shine the smile of the God,
their innocence is where one can learn philosophy of life,
Isn't it God
at coherent Display?
Journey in a journey,
Dream in a dream,
Is essence of a dream life,
It is your own, enjoy everything in righteous way,
Using brain and listening to heart,
Balance between,
Emotions and intelligence,
Great will be experience with kids, I one play with them like a kid!
We enjoy company of one another just like children in this journey unknown!
Never bothering about destination!

Linger
If you, if you could return
Dont let it burn, dont let it fade
Im sure Im not being rude
But its just your attitude
Its tearing me apart
Its ruining everything
And I swore, I swore I would be true
And honey so did you
So why were you holding her hand
Is that the way we stand
Were you lying all the time
Was it just a game to you
But Im in so deep
You know Im such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to, do you have to
Do you have to let it linger
Oh, I thought the world of you
I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong
I was wrong
If you, if you could get by
Trying not to lie
Things wouldnt be so confused
And I wouldnt feel so used
But you always really knew
I just wanna be with you
And Im in so deep
You know Im such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to. do you have to
Do you have to let it linger
And Im in so deep
You know Im such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to, do you have to
Do you have to let it linger
You know Im such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to, do you have to
Do you have to let it linger

Beautiful Things
Beautiful things
Are comin my way
Beautiful things
I want them to stay
But after a while
My beautiful things
Dont seem beautiful at all
Terrible things
Like when you wake up
And all of your dreams
Seem to crack up
Like things you have done
Like breakin my heart
For you it dont seem
Terrible at all
Is there someone I can talk to?
Someone on the line?
Does anybody want to hear
Whats on my mind?
Beautiful things
Like leaves on a tree
Beautiful things
The sky and the sea
Since youve been gone
No beautiful things
Seem beautiful to me
Is there someone I can talk to?
Someone out there on the line?
Does anybody want to hear
Whats on my mind?
Make the grass grow in the garden
When the rain is passin by
Does anybody want to know
Whats on my mind?

Slides Of Beauty
a beautiful horse
in the same manner that there is
also a beautiful cat
a beautiful rat and a beautiful
fish, a beautiful woman
like another beautiful man,
a beautiful mountain
a beautiful river
so many things and people
beautiful today
like the leaves of the
fan
cooling and refreshing
my taste and
quest for beauty.

Purgatory
Beautiful people - got their beautiful lives - got their
Beautiful husbands - got their beautiful wives - got their
Beautiful bankers - got their beautiful lawyers
All things bright and beautiful
The beautiful people are sent to destroy us
Beautiful people - got their beautiful kids - got their
Beautiful schools where the beautiful other half live - got their
Beautiful futures in their beautiful professions
All things bright and beautiful
The beautiful people got the money for the lessons
I'm living in purgatory - I know what purgatory is
This ain't no sanctuary - This ain't no way to live
You gotta have a sense of humour - you gotta know how to laugh at it
Cos, I'm living in Purgatory 'n anything's better than this
Beautiful people got their beautiful clothes - got their
Beautiful mansions - down their beautiful country roads - got their
Beautiful Doctors - in their beautiful surgeries
All things bright and beautiful
The beautiful people like a little privacy
I'm living in purgatory - I know what purgatory is
This ain't no sanctuary - This ain't no way to live
You gotta have a sense of humour - you gotta know how to laugh at it
Cos, I'm living in Purgatory 'n anything's better than this
Beautiful losers on their beautiful estates got their
beautiful job centres on the beautiful welfare wait and wait
Beautiful dreamers - out of their beautiful skulls
All things are bright and beautiful
As long as they're beautiful, people stay beautiful.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I'm living in purgatory - I know what purgatory is
This ain't no sanctuary - This ain't no way to live
You gotta have a sense of humour - you gotta know how to lau

Unconditional and Uninhibited Love
What are you doing?
When I invited you out for dinner...
I did not expect this at all.
'You were the one to ask if I was uninhibited! '
I meant in private.
When we are alone!
Hurry up!
Get dressed.
This is embarrassing.
You are an exhibitionist.
'What difference does that make?
I told you I enjoy eating in the nude!
So you want me to take the tassels off my breasts too?
I thought you said you wanted to see me dance? '
Hurry up and get dressed.
This whole thing has been a misunderstanding.
Your ad said 'Unconditional and Uninhibited Love'.
'And...
What is your point?
I'm the one embarrassed.
I should have questioned you 'before' accepting your invitation.
You're the one who lied when you said I should be myself!
Didn't I tell you,
My honesty was rare?
That I kept nothing covered?
I was as naked to the truth as I can be? '
Yeah...
But,
People lie!
And this is 'too' much honesty.
I'm not ready for it.
Hurry...
Get dressed.

What It Is They Do
Some folks enjoy doing things.
While other folks 'are' what they enjoy doing!
Some folks enjoy cooking.
And then there are cooks.
Some folks enjoy singing.
And then there are those who sing.
Some folks enjoy writing.
I know I do,
And I've been told I am a writer.
Some folks have no problem,
Producing what they do.
And others will say they don't have the time.
Although they waste it telling folks,
What it is they do...
And yet nothing of that,
Ever gets done!

Open The Gate
I see you from the distance
From beyond the fence you made
Hiding all your feelings
Behind your barricade
Oh have you been invaded
Is this the reason why you hide
I know just how you're feeling
I know - let me inside
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up - hurry
I want to get near you
But you just won't let me in
'Cause you're so scared of losing
Everything you've got within
Come on now you can trust me
Come on and open the door
'Cause I know just how you're feeling
I know - I've been there before
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
And do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now - hurry
Do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
And do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
Hurry
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Down

The Best Bet On Chinaski - Better Day B-side
Henry took out all the wrong and never thought
Do you know what hed say, its a beautiful day
Henry took out all his money and found he had none
Do you know what hed say, its a beautiful day
And he would not buy the things that you were handing down
And he would not clear it off for you and leave you lying down
Henry found the love and he found it just today
Do you know what hed say, its beautiful day
Put my face in all the things that Ive never done
Do you know what hed say, its beautiful day
And he would not follow things that others said or done
And he would not follow things that you call everyone
cause henry found the note and he found it hard to give away
Do you know what hed say, its a beautiful thing
Bottled up a ticket to God knows where
Do you know what he said to the driver, its a beautiful day
And he would not follow things that you were handing down
And he would not buy the alternate news when the dogs were being drowned
cause henry found the love and he found it today
Do you know what hed say, its a beautiful thing
And you know what he knows, that its a beautiful day
And you know what hed say, that its a beautiful day
cause henry got it all and he found it just today
Do you know what hed say, its a beautiful day...

The River
WHY hurry, little river,
Why hurry to the sea?
There is nothing there to do
But to sink into the blue
And all forgotten be.
There is nothing on that shore
But the tides for evermore,
And the faint and far-off line
Where the winds across the brine
For ever, ever roam
And never find a home.
Why hurry, little river,
From the mountains and the mead,
Where the graceful elms are sleeping
And the quiet cattle feed?
The loving shadows cool
The deep and restful pool;
And every tribute stream
Brings its own sweet woodland dream
Of the mighty woods that sleep
Where the sighs of earth are deep,
And the silent skies look down
On the savage mountain's frown.
Oh, linger, little river,
Your banks are all so fair,
Each morning is a hymn of praise,
Each evening is a prayer.
All day the sunbeams glitter
On your shallows and your bars,
And at night the dear God stills you
With the music of the stars.
