Where I once constantly lost my temper, I found myself arriving at a crisis and experiencing peace.

Peace

peace cannot be recovered

there is only strategy

We are on the precipice of a crisis, a Constitutional crisis. The checks and balances, which have been at the core of this Republic, are about to be evaporated by the nuclear option. The checks and balances that say if you get 51% of the vote, you don't get your way 100% of the time. It is amazing, it's almost a temper tantrum.

Hostage Crisis
Who is a hostage
What is the crisis
Who is there
To solve this.
I am here
In this world
And I am in crisis
It is your world
It is you
Who solve my crisis.
The crisis of
Identification
The crisis of
Beautification
The crisis of
Unification
The crisis of
Liberation.

The Peace Of The Man And The Dragon
finally we have found peace,
the outcome of the war,
as we have seen greatness since,
as we have seen light and darkness,
the king welcomes us for a meeting,
we gave a great toast to peace to the lands,
and the lost honored in memory,
we have found the light,
as soon as we've seen the great light of peace,
our people have became the allies of peace,
we have seen our men attacked in the night,
for peace has prevailed for now.

Alphabet Lost And Found
On this fateful day, in the history of whenever,
An epidemic of missing letters has swept the land.
Whatever the cause, for the sake of future generations,
In the limited time we have been permitted, these stories must be told.
There was an apple that lost his 'a'
There was a zebra that lost his 'z'
There was a chauffeur that left his 'auffer' on the dashboard
Of the car that lost its 'r'
Well, the car had lost its 'r' in a pothole
On a street that lost its 'e'
When the garbage collector with a missing 'ector' swept it up
With a broom that lost its 'oom'
Where they gonna go without their letters?
How could they survive without their letters?
Where they gonna go to find their letters?
They gonna have to get together-
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet lost and found)
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet lost and found)
There was a school that lost its 'cool'
when they tired to ring the bell that had no 'l'
With all the letters gone, the spelling bee was canceled
Science teachers had their hands full
English classes could not be complete
Where they gonna go without their letters?
How could they survive without their letters?
Where they gonna go to find their letters?
They gonna have to get together
Where they gonna go without their letters?
How could they survive without their letters?
Where they gonna go to find their letters?
They gonna have to get together
Crowds of people, animals, and incomplete words have been seen at a previously unknown place to be referred to as-
The alphabet lost and found (alphabet lost and found)
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet lost and found)
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet lost and found) (how could they survive without their letters)
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet and lost found) (they gonna have to get together)
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet and lost found) (they gonna have to get together)
At the alphabet lost and found (alphabet and lost found) (they gonna have to get together)

It is popular to call it a crisis of the Western world. It is in fact a crisis of the whole world. Communism, which claims to be a solution of the crisis, is itself a symptom and an irritant of the crisis.

The Long Tour
Found a lot to drink-
Found a lot to smoke-
Found a lot to pop-
and only a year to go.
Lost twenty pounds-
Lost my virginity-
Lost a stripe-
And only six months to go.
Lost another partner-
Lost faith in the machine-
Lost faith in me-
And now it's time to go.
Found out where I was goin'-
Found out what I was doin'-
Found out where I belong-
And another six months to go.

The Loser
He lost his money first of all
And losing that is half the story-
And later on he tried a fall
With fate, in things less transitory
He lost his heart-and found it dead-
(His one and only true discovery),
And after that he lost his head,
And lost his chances of recovery.
He lost his honour bit by bit
Until the thing was out of question.
He worried so at losing it,
He lost his sleep and his digestion.
He lost his temper- and for good-
The remnants of his reputation,
His taste in wine, his choice of food,
And then, in rapid culmination,
His certitudes, his sense of truth,
His memory, his self control,
The love that graced his early youth,
And lastly his immortal soul.

Lost & Found
I always used to be afraid
That I was going to lose my way
I never used to walk in line but stray
I never thought I'd see it through
That I could deal with losing you
But suddenly I see the light of day
Leading me in
From out of the night
Staying on course - I'm still alive
I had to confess I never thought I would ever survive
I was lost and found
I had run aground
I was lost but now I'm found
Focused on my altered state
I would just disorientate
Suffering alone amongst the crowd
Drifting on a sea of doubt
And no one ever heard me shout
That I was lost and couldn't find my way
No one at hand
Having no plan
Stumbled through a barren land
After so long
Of going wrong
I found the road
I was lost and found
I had run aground
I was lost but now I'm found
I was lost and found
I had hit the ground
I was lost but now I found
That I don't need no one
To survive
You've got to believe alone
You'll rise
Starting to run
Shedding the load
Now I can see I'm close to home
After so long
Of going wrong
I found the road
I was lost and found
I had run aground
I was lost but now I'm found

Lost To Your Love
When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the deep moonlight ocean
That I found in his eyes
When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the pale pink rose
That I found resting upon his cheek
When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the light brown bark of a tree
That I found on his skin
When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the pearls
That I found just underneath those perfect lips
When he left, I was lost
Lost in a whole new way
No more deep blue eyes
No more pink roses
No more perfect pearls
And when he left, I was lost
Lost in the sorrow
That I found in my heart

Poem For Sam
'always going, never arriving.'
i've thought about this one
for a while.
and i think there's another step!
the bare limbed tree in winter,
frozen branches, no sign
of life.
and yet beneath the surface,
life is forming, having been lost,
begins again!
perfect stillness.
no need for going,
or arriving ... you're
already there!
all that is life
is present.
what you seek for
you already are!
take off your shoes,
lay down your pack,
and embrace each breath.
the tides come in
and go out.
but the ocean remains!

Crisis King
If youre inclined to complain
It doesnt matter, hes got greater pain
Any crisis takes its toll
Then hell get down, let the bad times roll
Youll never go down fighting
Youll just go down
The crisis king is mighty
In a crisis showdown
The sole provision he needs to live
Is what he can take, hes got nothing
To give
Youll never go down fighting
Youll just go down
The crisis king is mighty
In a crisis showdown

Finding My Peace
I got to find my peace so I cut to ease the pain,
Escaping the life I'm living, escaping a life of vain,
Quieting the cries, as my eyes let free its rain,
Body becomes weak and tired, as my strength I try to gain,
I want to find my peace, some peace of any kind,
Needle penetrates my skin, but to the damage I am blind,
So high up off these drugs, so high up in my mind,
Guess I'll just keep on using, until my peace I someday find,
I need to find my peace, so I drink the stress away,
Now so intoxicated, but it's only a temporary state,
I'm in a better place, so I guess it makes it okay,
But I still haven't found my peace, so I'll try another way,
I think I've found my peace, in a place that's rather odd,
No needles, no bleeding, no cutting, just prayer for His approval nod,
I think I've found my peace, and to my better half I'll prod,
Because I know I've found my peace, and I found it with myself and God,

When I lose my temper, I find it difficult to forgive myself. I feel I've failed. I can be calm in a crisis, in the face of death or things that hurt badly. I don't get hysterical, which may be masochistic of me.

War Is A Lie?
The ending of war is like the finish of a race,
It is never then in mystery, never in peace.
The destruction has hurt a man too much,
It has constructed the bridge for civilization
And the pieces of meat are lost to the elements.
We are objecting constantly, always we are dumb
And the hearts are seeing things, hearing complex things.
We found a lie in the beginning, at the end: No!
Lies are made from the evil side, the darkness,
From this is certain life and no destruction,
For it lies that it lies.

Only The Ones Who Continually Count Their Blessings
Why is it when one is young,
Aging is something believed...
No one wants to get done.
I've had my share of bouts with doubts.
Praying my advancing age...
Would not be so obvious.
Or in public be announced,
To be shouted out.
As I made attempts not to appear,
Like I was not experiencing a mid-life crisis.
But,
I've earned this.
I had to awaken to admit it!
I've EARN THIS!
Every bit of it and proud.
I have managed to do some things I dared.
With challenges and obstacles,
To prove a faith had pulled me through...
Mucho grief!
With just some of it shared.
Not all.
I don't want to scare the few people I know,
Away!
There's already been an acceptance,
Of my mentioned dysfunctions.
Why blow it on a 'show and tell' demonstration?
Some boundaries should be kept limited.
And imagined.
Why is it when one is young,
Aging is something believed...
No one wants to get done.
I've had my share of bouts with doubts.
Praying my advancing age...
Would not be so obvious.
Or in public be announced,
To be shouted out.
As I made attempts not to appear,
Like I was not experiencing a mid-life crisis.
I use to fear aging before I understood it.
Only the ones who continually count their blessings,
Can appreciate a few aches and pains...
And associate 'that' with being grateful to feel them.
Only the ones who continually count their blessings,
Can appreciate a few aches and pains...
And associate 'that' with being grateful to feel them.
And I'll keep that repeated to myself,
As a reminder.
Sometimes this self motivation business,
Does get old and tired.
But a blessing to live to get done.
You never know who's listening,
When confessions are being made.

I’m So Lost
I’m so lost
I’m barely alive
I wouldn’t be missed
If I were to die
I’m so lost
only my bills would miss me
My girlfriend wouldn’t know
until she tried to kiss me
I’m so lost
all my lost things I’ve found
Not sure if it was them
or me on the ground
I’m so lost
I don’t remember my name
What I do
or from where I came
I’m so lost
Who even cares
No one understands
Just a lot of blank stares
I'm so lost
and all alone
I can't reach you
even on the phone
I’m so lost
Just wondering around
If I were any more lost
I would probably get found
