Our whole life is an attempt to discover when our spontaneity is whimsical, sentimental irresponsiblity and when it is a valid expression of our deepest desires and values.

Desire…few Facets
(a re-post)
ripples of wanton
desires whirl in
a whimsical heart
whims of desires
whisper naggingly into
a winding heart
wily desires
wretched desires
waltz unabashedly
the wearied mind
simply stands
witness to the
woeful rigmarole…

Sentimental
Last night
we showed how much we cared
but sadness filled the air
how it made us cry
as we waved goodbye
then you left me standing there
Last night
I came home on my own
and watched a movie show
and the saddest part
really broke my heart
as it made me miss you so
I get so sentimental
can't control the beat of my heart
I get so sentimental
sentimental when we're apart
Last night
I tried to let you know
how it hurts to see you go
and how I want you near
every time I hear
our love song on the radio
I get so sentimental
can't control the beat of my heart
I get so sentimental
sentimental when we're apart
Can't control the beat of my heart
I get so sentimental
sentimental when we're apart
How you made me cry
when we waved good bye
as it made me miss you so
I get so sentimental
can't control the beat of my heart
I get so sentimental
sentimental when we're apart
I get so sentimental
I get so sentimental
sentimental when we're apart
I get so sentimental
can't control the beat of my heart
I get so sentimental

No Values / No More Lonely Nights
I hear them telling me that you're selling off the furniture
And even keep my personalized autographs
You might as well go all the way and sell your granny to the zoo
And while you're at it, may I go to my psychiatrist ?
He's making money out of making me laugh
But I don't mind , I wish that I could say the same about you
It seems to me that you've still got no values
Oh you know you're not so hot, no values
And I'll be glad if you went away again
No values . . . no values . . . no values at all
The city shark is at the dark and of the alleyway
You pays your money and you takes your choice
The artful dodger says he wants to pick a pocket or two
But you, you've taken up a place in high society
A personal friend of messrs rolls and royce
Got them all convinced that everything you say to them is true
It seems to me that you've still got no values
Oh you know you're not so hot, no values
You know you've got a lot, but no values
And I'd be glad if you went away again
No values . . . no values . . . no values at all
I like your wife's smile, I like her car
If I had your lifestyle, I wouldn't go far wrong
On the waters of life you row your boat
Into the strongest tide that you can find
On the darkest of nights we were two of a kind
We went through it all before the tide went out
And left us stranded on the shore
How was I to know
How was I to know
Well you ain't got no values
You know you think you're hot, no values
You know you've got a lot, but no values
And I'd be glad if you went away again
No values . . . no values . . . no values at all

In the Dark of the Sun
Having heard so much about nightlife,
The Sun was at pains to discover
The mysteries of the nighttime
So she pursued it around like a lover.
But wherever the Sun would go,
She would find the night had just been.
The Sun sighed with frustration
Night had eluded her once again.
“I’m not very good as a Stalker
even though I’m such an early riser.
I’ll never discover my dark side
And I’ll end my days no whit the wiser”
Author’s note: I’m just being whimsical here, so don't get all Copernican on me. I know the Earth Revolves around the Sun and rotates on its axis.

Poetry Is The Language Of Our Deepest Feeling
POETRY IS THE LANGUAGE OF OUR DEEPEST FEELING
Poetry is the language of our deepest feeling
It makes Beauty even of our Darkness
And shares with others our Light.
Without Poetry we would be less in life-
With it,
The inner anguish the soaring of the soul
Our real lives whatever they may be-
Find Meaning in Expression..

We read advertisements... to discover and enlarge our desires. We are always ready - even eager - to discover, from the announcement of a new product, what we have all along wanted without really knowing it.

In the transmission of human culture, people always attempt to replicate, to pass on to the next generation the skills and values of the parents, but the attempt always fails because cultural transmission is geared to learning, not DNA.

Kick In The Face
Sometimes its not fair
Too many lies are told
Here we go- dont blame me
What are you lying for
Dont treat me like a toy
I have been through this pain
Long before- again and again
I believe that its much too much
I only listen to my heart
Its never telling me a lie
I only listen to my heart
Like a kick in the face- sentimental lies
Like a kick in the face- sentimental lies
Dont you dare to hurt me
Its my life- and its real
Im not your fool
I will fight for my right
I only listen to my heart
Its never telling me a lie
I only listen to my heart
Like a kick in the face- sentimental lies
Like a kick in the face- sentimental lies
Like a kick in the face
Lets get right down to it
I hate the way you talk
Im leaving all the bad times
I leave it all- all for you
I only listen to my heart
Its never telling me a lie
I only listen to my heart
Its like a kick in your face- sentimental lies
Like a kick in your face- sentimental lies
Its like a kick in your face- sentimental lies
Like a kick in your face- sentimental lies

Decree As Sacrilege
If I don't like what you say...
I don't like what you say!
I am not going to condemn you...
Because your views are not what I want them to be!
Or that I believe my outlook with values attached,
Are better than yours.
However...
If you do attack my values that are valid to me,
I will get angry!
Especially those I can not defend,
When I become offended by the embarrassment...
Of blatant hyprocisy I 'may' live or express openly!
'That' I will decree as sacrilege!
Even though your truth exposes my pretense!
And an obvious reality of your comments...
Based on actuality I would like to keep hidden!
There should be somethings kept and left respected,
As being totally false and a paradox of my existence.
And...
I just might hate you for that!
You have no right to interfere,
Or probe into my interpretations!
They are 'my' interpretations of truths.

Sentimental Journey
Gonna take a sentimental journey
Gonna to set my heart at ease
Gonna take a sentimental journey
To renew old memories
Got my bag
I got my reservation
Spend each dime I could afford
Like a child in wild anticipation
Long to hear that all aboard
Seven, that's the time we leave at seven
I'll be waiting up for heaven
Counting every mile of railroad track
That takes me back
Never thought my heart could be so yearning
Why did I decide to roam
Gonna take a sentimental journey
Sentimental journey home
Sentimental journey

Sentimental Lady
Written by bob welch.
You are here and warm
But I could look away and youd be gone
Cause we live in a time
When meaning falls in splinters from our lives
And thats why Ive travelled far
Cause I come so together where you are
And all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when Im with you
14 joys and a will to be merry
And all of the things that we say are very
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Now you are here today
But easily you might just go away
Cause we live in a time
When paintings have no color, words dont rhyme
And thats why Ive travelled far
Cause I come so together where you are
And all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when Im with you
14 joys and a will to be merry
And all of the things that we say are very
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
You are here and warm
But I could look away and youd be gone
Cause we live in a time
When meaning falls in splinters from our lives
And thats why Ive travelled far
Cause I come so together where you are
Yes and all of the things that I said that I wanted
Come rushing by in my head when Im with you
14 joys and a will to be merry
And all of the things that we say are very
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one
Well sentimental gentle wind
Blowing through my life again
Sentimental lady
Gentle one

It will never do to plead sin as an excuse for sin, or to attempt to justify sinful acts by pleading that we have an evil heart. This instead of being a valid apology, is the very ground of our condemnation.

My Deepest Fear
My deepest fear is not that i am fighting
feelings that are outrageous
My deepest fear is not the life i live that
shadows me with my faults and faults of others
My deepest fear is not the fact that i am lost to
world full of cruel and unusual incidents
My deepest fear is not the false things that come
my way such as indications and judgments
My deepest fear is that i am blessed beyond measurements
and the truth of the life i live may come forward in the end

Sentimental Me
(words & music by cassin - morehead)
Sentimental me
Guess Ill always will be
So in love with you
Say you love me too
Sentimental me
Dreaming while I live
Living just to give
All my love to you
No one else will do
Sentimental me
Reaching for the moon
Wishing on the stars
On my honeymoon
I want to be where you are
Darling cant you see
It was meant to be
Im in love with you
Say you love me too
Sentimental me
Darling cant you see
It was meant to be
Im in love with you
No-one else will do

Intensity Of Passion Desires
people only steal
possessions trinkets
they value want
perhaps intensity
of passion desires
is too much to resist
yet had they asked
their hearts desires
in time would
oft be freely given
sadly possessions
held lose allure values

Sentimental
Orbison/melson
I get so ooh sentimental
Darling when it comes to you,
I'm just too ooh sentimental
And its breaking my heart in two.
I said a-hey,hey now
At the end of the day now,
I get carried away now
Thinking of you,ooh
How you looked that night,
You kissed goodbye just right,
Then turned away
And i miss you night and day.
Hey,a-hey, hey now,
At the end of the day now,
I get carried away now,
Thinking of you, ooh
Who holds you tight?,
I wonder where you are,
Are you alright
For you know, i still love you,
But i'm just so sentimental,
Baby because of you,
I'm just so ooh, sentimental
And it's,breaking my heart in two...

Pioneering New Territory
The onslaught of vacuous meanderings,
Is a representation of the futile attempts...
One makes to create spontaneity.
And this...
In one's mindlessness,
Does not exist! Spontaneity.
However...
What does,
Is an abundance of innovative mediocrity.
And with the increase of nonsense...
One is boosted with a feeling that thrills,
As if pioneering new territory.
