2010 is not just a choice between Republicans and Democrats. 2010 is not just a choice between liberals and conservatives. 2010 is a referendum on the very identity of our nation.

You know, I think, people of all stripes in California, Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, liberals, frankly, as I have traveled the state, the number one issue is jobs. And they are looking for which candidate can get the economy back on track.

Onward Ever Onward.

I must pursue my endless quest.
My destination is unknown
Although the path is overgrown
I have no choice I must go on.

I’m not allowed to stop and rest
I have to journey on alone.
I have no choice I must go on
although the path is overgrown.

It’s up to me to do my best
until my journeying is done.
Although the path is overgrown
I have no choice I must go on..

Perhaps in time I’ll pass the test
Show I could do it on my own.
I have no choice I must go on
Although the path is overgrown.

Each man must pursue his own quest
It’s something he must do alone.
Although the path is overgrown
There is no choice you must go on.

Sense and Sensitivity 2010

Sense and sensitivity.2010

Big city life is not for me.
Too many minds impinge on mine.
Broadcasting thoughts quite randomly
that have no purpose or design.
the broadcast thoughts though unaware
that other people can receive.
I find such chaos hard to bear.
I must raise barriers to achieve
the peace of mind for which I yearn.
Leaves me no choice I must return
to rural life and peacefulness.
Though city life is not for me.
It may suit you admirably.

Visual adulteries

The minimum wish that a man harbours
Is gain entry into the eyes and heart
Of the woman of his choice, which she grants.
Thus visual adulteries thrive everywhere.

Newt Gingrich had to work hard - getting Republican candidates to sign the Contract with America - to nationalize the election that swept Republicans to victory in 1994. A Democratic anti-Tea Party campaign would do that for the Republicans - nationalize the election, gratis - in 2010.

Afghanistan Canadian War

Is Afghanistan good for a referendum and why not?
Dead soldiers on the Highway of Heroes in case you forgot,
Does this send a message of why we should stay over there?
As we stand in a trance and watch, counting hearses and stare.

And there are still many more coffins en route and on the way,
And even many more American returning over there they say,
Could we have an Afghanistan referendum for “IN” or “OUT”?
Should we bow our heads in submission and pretend we’re devout?

Politicians in Kandahar for photo ops over there,
Making a grand officious announcement that they really do care,
Can’t have propositions, referendums or judicial reviews,
No plebiscites, proportional representation or strange views.

If Humans Were More Like Birds

Birds bring you love and light,
they are happy to fly around you
day or night,
If human were more like birds
there would be only joyful words.
Yes, birds are happy as can be,
singing praise to Mother Earth so joyfully,
while flying from tree to tree.
How nice it would be if everyone was more
like birds so happy and carefree,
having loving thoughts and words for
each human they see.

It wouldn't be fair to say that conservatives cherish property the way liberals cherish equality. But it would be fair to say that the takings clause is the conservatives' recipe for judicial activism just as they say liberals have misused the equal protection clause.

What Happened To What We Use To Be?

why am i your last choice,
but your first choice,
when you have a problem,
how could you not see,
that i want you,
as bad as you wanted me,

maybe i was the fool,
to push you away,
because i was afraid of love,
i was afraid,
of what could of been mine,
but it was all to fast,
it seemed like we were on different pages,

you wanted sex,
and i just wanted secuerity,
what went wrong?
except for you going for a girl,
who gave you what you wanted,
when you walked on by,
yeah, i loved you in ways you never known,

i could of gave you the life you wanted,
but instead we are traveling different ways,
because you were trying to find,
something i was giving,
and from the looks of it,
i can see it in your eyes,

that you are still looking for your happy ending,
and all i want is my prince to rescue me,
from this nightmare i only keep waking up from,
everytime i can't find that guy,
who had treated me like you use to,
but i guess we can't all have our cake,
and eat it too.

If you ask the people who are professional political analysts, they would say that the way redistricting has worked, that the Republicans have something of a lock on the House until a redistricting occurs after 2010, particularly as a result of what DeLay did in Texas.

Those Who Watch Over Us

Everyone has someone who watches over them.
Some call it their guardian angel
while others call it their friend.
Whomever they are they are there
when I our lives need them the most.
They guide others to help us make our choice.
Sometimes we say we don’t care when we really do.
This when those who watch over us show us what to do.
Everything happens for a reason.
That is why we are what we are.
However, do not look for an answer
because you will never find it.
Only those who watch over us know
and the secret is theirs to keep.

I can.

Inverted hexaduadad.

I can
choose to be a man.
Stand tall upon my own two feet
Or to retreat.
The choice is up to me.
Though not quite free
I can’t refuse
I am compelled to choose.
What shall I do.
I will not change my view
I will be the best man
I can.

Strong Women

My family is a family
Of strong women
Of that there is no doubt
These women
Have withstood
The challenges of their times.

All of life’s trials
The worst of the worst
History has not been kind
Deaths, rapes and murders
They have had to live with daily
Live with on their minds.

Unexpected circumstance
Have tested my ancestral women
And they somehow survived
And somehow they managed to live on
Sometimes all alone
And to go on and to thrive.

And now in the Halls of History
They can stand up and be counted
Among those women
Among the best of the best
Those who are still considered to be
Strong Women.
