I love all of mythology and rules pertaining to all of the monsters, but I like to go the extra step.

Most of the monsters... are based on some sort of mythology. Every culture and even some geographical areas have monsters and mythology that is their own.

A little extra, from an extra ordinary woman
She goes out of her way and travels that extra mile
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She consoles you, smiles with you, cries with you and for you
A little extra than anyone else
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She spends on you a little extra than she does on her own self
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She uses her extra strength and wisdom to pick you up when you fall
She blinds her sight to your imperfections
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She loves you a little extra just to stand out different
From all those who love you
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She starves herself so that you may eat a little extra
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She forgives you all the time
Even when you guilty mind knows you don’t deserve such kindness
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She may not be the most perfect woman but
She is indeed an extra ordinary woman
She is your mother, your wife, your fiancee, your girlfriend
Your sister, your grandmother and your daughter
You best appreciate her

Right To The Ways & The Rules Of The World
Monsters that trinkle like cats in the night
The cosmic conceiver continues his plight
A war of the heavens, whats wrong and whats right
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Spraying the children with incense and myrrh
The hopeless confessions of minds unsure
Spraying the children with incense and myrrh
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
I tried to come over and see you today
I tried to come over to want you to say
I wanted you say to come today
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Mindlessly hoping she falls for their minds
Holding the sacraments, secrets unkind
Chewing the curdles of cream from the rain
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Chewing the grits...
Right to the ways and the rules of the world
Monsters that tinkle, trinkle like the jams gone astray...

Love Rules
Evry day you pass her in the hall
You just pretend that you dont see her at all
You wanna tell her how much you care
You wanna call her but you just dont dare
Love rules, ooo love rules
Out in the parking lot with all the guys
Dont ever let em see the tears in your eyes
Shes got a date tonight and it aint you
So you go out there and you get one too
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, yeah love rules
You wish you didnt have so much to feel
Its much too scary and its all too real
All your friends are out havin fun
Sometimes you think that youre the only one
That love rules, ooo love rules
While everybodys out makin time
You cant help thinkin youre the last in line
Shes the finest thing youve ever seen
You wrap your arms around her in your dreams
When she smiles it brings you to your knees
You wanna tell her but you always freeze
Shes in the back seat but youre much too shy
Youd give the world to be an older guy
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, yeah love still rules
Love rules, ooo love rules
Love rules, love rules love rules
Love rules

No Rules
Say its alright
If you really love me
Its my life
And I really wanted you that night
Was about to break
So we had to just take a chance
Time is not to waste
We couldnt let it slide through our hands
When my heart called
You answered me
Baby, when I was falling
You were there for me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
Walking through the streets
The echo of our footsteps in time
In between the beats
Tell me that youll always be mine
So baby can I trust you
Like Im ready to?
Ive waited so long
And I never refused
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Our hearts are free
No rules in love
For you and me
No rules in love
All my life, been living on the same dreams
Sometimes they seemed so real
All my love I held deep inside me
I wanted to feel
I wanted to feel
Baby, now I wonder
What youre doing tonight
I can see you laughing, boy
As I closed my eyes
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me
Theres no rules in love
Cant you see?
No rules in love
For you and me

Makin Monsters For My Friends
Everybody said so man you could see it on t.v.
They stood there ashamed with nowhere to go
Nobody wants them now the kids are alright
Every day is a holiday and pushin people around
Im making monsters for my friends
Im making monsters for my friends
Someone caught one I could see so myself
I had to call 254 so they wouldnt blame me
We wanted to know how much trouble there was
When we asked our daddy he said its just because
Im making monsters for my friends
Im making monsters for my friends
I dont wanna open a can of worms and I dont want any spagetti-os
And I could always tell when someone is holding a grudge
Im making monsters for my friends
Im making monsters for my friends
Im making monsters for my friends
Im making monsters for my friends

Gods And Monsters
Yearning, keep them burning, kepp them earning
Someones got to pay for all these televisions
There's children singing, and church bells ringing,
and people skipping merrily to work and dreaming
and dreaming
For maybe, you'll wind up crazy, and when you're drinking
You may start thinking that you're stupid and you're lazy
Well just keep earning, keep on yearning,
and you will believe there are no gods and monsters
gods and monsters
So free of contradictions, no dereliction,
There are no gods and monsters
So useless and so pretty and so good
So pretty and so good, gods and monsters
Now have I got you watching, for all the gods and monsters
A sitting, reclining in the back row of your mind
I think thats what you'll find
Yes there are gods and monsters
Yes there are gods and monsters
Yes there are gods and monsters

It's not how much you do, it's how often you do it. It simply doesn't matter if you make some monumental effort at any given time. You have it in your to give that extra little bit. You know that you could add that finishing touch. You know you can take that extra step.

Boundaries
They say there are boundaries
that we should not cross.
Boundaries of love
that if we step over
we find danger waiting there.
They say there
are rules of engagement,
to break them is taboo.
However when you cross
over into love’s territory
you find the rules of arbitration
mean nothing there.
We seek no silken thread
to mend fragile wings,
but strings to tug
at the coldest heart
as we step across the boundaries
of love’s beating heart.

I'm usually working on my own mythology, my own realm of created characters. Stories in mythology inspire me, though I may not be conscious of it.
I believe in mythology. I guess I share Joseph Campbell's notion that a culture or society without mythology would die, and we're close to that.

Step Inside Love
Step inside love, let me find you a place
Where all the cares of the day
Will be carried away
By the smile on your face
We are together now and forever
Come what may
Step inside love and stay
Step inside love
Step inside love
Step inside love
I want you to stay
You look tired love, let me turn down the light
Come in out of the cold
Rest your head on my shoulder
And love me tonight
I'll always be here if you should need me
Night and day
Step inside love and stay
Step inside love
Step inside love
Step inside love
I want you to stay
When you leave me, say you'll see me again
For I know in my heart
We will not be apart
And I'll miss you till then
We'll be together now and forever
Come what may
Step inside love and stay
Step inside love
Step inside love
Step inside love
I want you to stay

Anything To Be Happy
What would you do for a touch of happiness
Would you run that extra distance
Would you spend that extra hour
Would you show that extra effort
What would you do for a touch of happiness
Would you feel that extra pain
Would you spend that extra cash
Would you drive that extra mile
What would you do for a touch of happiness
People would do anything to be happy
It is something they need
They do the “extras”
When it is all quite simple
Happiness comes from the inside

I Dont Love Here Anymore
Words and music by rick nielsen
We had a special way of talkin
Oh, a language all our own
We always knew the latest dances
But we liked old-fashioned love
Now something seems the matter
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
I dont want to love here anymore
(I dont want to love here anymore)
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
I dont have a lot of patience
When someones lit my fuse
So dont you try to reason
Me, I dont want no excuse, no!
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
I dont want to love here anymore
(I dont want to love here anymore)
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
You (you)
Dont (dont)
Play (play)
By the rules
I (I)
Wont (dont)
Love here anymore
You dont want to play by the rules
(you dont want to play by the rules)
cause I dont want to love here anymore
(I dont want to love here anymore)

Monsters Of Mud
Monsters of mud, covered in mud (made of mud)
Monsters of mud (made of mud)
Monsters of mud, covered in mud (repeat six times)
Made of mud, they're made of mud (repeat six times)
(2x)
Look at that mudman
It's disgraceful
Check out the dirt pile
He's got a face full
It's unbelievable, they're walking through the streets of town
They act like people, but they're shapeless, grimy, grey and brown
(Made of mud, they're made of mud) (2x)
It used to be that everyone you'd see was so well scrubbed
Everything's different now, ever since the monsters of mud
Monsters of mud, covered in mud (3x)
Made of mud (3x), they're made of mud
Made of mud, they're made of mud
Look out there's one right there
It freaks me out, It's covered in crud
All of our values have been challenged
by the monsters of mud
Here they slime
There they slouch
On your carpet
On my couch
Mud monsters everywhere
You can't escape the slobbering flood
We couldn't stop them
So we all became the monsters of mud
It's unbelievable, we're walking through the streets of town
We act like people, but we're shapeless, grimy, grey and brown
(Made of mud, they're made of mud)(2x)
It used to be that everyone you'd see was so well scrubbed
Everything's different now, ever since the monsters of mud

Claim To Fame
Talk-talk, yak-yak
Watch you pull that old one track
Get it up and get it back
Making it upon your back
No space, no rent
The moneys gone, its all been spent now
Tell me bout your claim to fame
Now aint that some claim to fame
Extra, extra, read all about it now
Extra, extra, something bout a claim to fame
Ooohhh sweet mama, ooohhh sweet mama
Something bout your claim to fame
Wet lips, dry now
Ready for that old hand out, now
Aint that some claim to fame
Spaced out, spaced in
The heads round, the squares flat
Aint that some claim to fame
Now tell me aint that some claim to fame
Extra, extra, read all about it now
Extra, extra, something, something bout some claim to fame
Ooohhh-wheee sweet mama, extra, extra, something
Something bout your claim to fame
Yeah now
I said now, extra, extra
Something bout your claim to fame
I said now, extra, extra
Something bout your claim to fame
Ooohhh mama, said now, extra, extra
Something bout your claim to fame
Extra, extra, something bout a
About a, about a, something bout your claim to fame
Extra, extra, something bout a
bout a, bout a, something bout your claim to fame
Ooohhh, ooohhh sweet mama
Something bout your claim to fame
