The sharing of joy, whether physical, emotional, psychic, or intellectual, forms a bridge between the sharers which can be the basis for understanding much of what is not shared between them, and lessens the threat of their difference.

When the Heart Is Dead

When the heart is dead
The poet should be as well
If he allows verse
To wiggle out of
Bony intellectual crevices
Of the skull
Instead of dripping
From his veins
Like passionate blood
From deeply cut
Emotional wounds
Leaving psychic scars
Surviving for eternity
In the disconsolate universe.

The most dangerous aspect of present-day life is the dissolution of the feeling of individual responsibility. Mass solitude has done away with any difference between the internal and the external, between the intellectual and the physical.

Not Meant To Confuse

What I shared with them,
Was not meant for you.
The sharing that was done,
Was just for them.
With a doing I did,
That was not meant to confuse.

If a sharing done between you two,
Invited a confusion because you wanted it to...
Then,
How does that involve me?
What I shared with them,
Had nothing to do with you.

What I shared with them was not meant for you.
As to why you were included?
Shouldn't you be the one,
To ask them that question?
Since you believe there is something hidden,
That needs to be addressed and confessed.

However, I will make this suggestion...
Minding one's own business enhances one's happiness.

Emotional Vampires

Emotional vampires exist.
Nothing but despair,
Comes from their lips.
Negativity is a ride they take,
On a constant basis.
Attempt to share any happiness at all!
And they will be there to erase it,
Quick!

Emotional vampires with evil sit.
Darkness clouds their minds.
And sharing it they do not resist.
Focused on their aches and pains.
With a draining done wherever they visit.
It would be quicker to give them a pint of blood...
Than to have them leave someone,
Mentally exhausted in an atmosphere...
That was not that way before they left it,
Gloomy, ugly and rich in thick sickness.
After they appeared.

Be unassailable

Physical strength for bed,
Intellectual capacity for head,
Emotional maturity for mind,
Aesthetic sensibility for senses,
Human values for heart,
And spiritual depth for soul,
One must develop utmost.
Then the one is unassailable

Robert Fulghum

The older I get, the more I realize the importance of exercising the various dimensions of my body, soul, mind and heart. Taken together, these aspects give me a sense of wholeness. I want to be a whole human being rather than one who limps on one leg because I don't know how to use all of my parts. Intellectual, emotional, and physical activity are not separate entities. Rather, they are dimensions of the same human being.

I personally think intellectual property is an oxymoron. Physical objects have a completely different natural economy than intellectual goods. It's a tricky thing to try to own something that remains in your possession even after you give it to many others.

You Ain't Got It Like a Psychic

You can't tell me what I'm thinking...
Until I tell you what that is!

Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

You can run around and tell folks,
What you think my business is!

But,
Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

You can sneak across the floor.
And put your ear to the door.
Tell my neighbors and friends,
What I do and who for!
But,
Uh-uh,
You ain't got it like a psychic.

It's too bad your lips don't seal.
You need to hush 'em.
You need to keep them closed.

It's so sad you have a mind that reveals...
It's gonna crack!
It's ripe for that.
Waiting to set you back with a heart attack.

It's too bad your lips don't seal.
You need to hush 'em.
You need to keep them closed.

It's so sad you have a mind that reveals...
It's gonna crack!
It's ripe for that.

You can run around and tell folks,
What you think my business is!
But,
Uh-uh...

You can't tell me what I'm thinking,
Until I tell you what that is!
Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

You may not like it.
My name ain't Mike,
And I'm 'bout to take a hike!

Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.
Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

If you were a psychic,
You would know where you can bite it!

Bite this!
Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.
Bite this!
Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.
Bite this!
Uh-uh...
You ain't got it like a psychic.

If you were a psychic,
You would know where you can bite it!

Never Given A Chance To Happen

It would have made a difference,
If those experienced and willing...
To volunteer their time,
To secure the cementing of foundations...
Were regarded as friends.
And not threats to suspect of wanting,
To flaunt special attention given.

It would have made a difference,
If those who had nothing...
Accepted someone with something to give,
As a benefit to the environment.
With an advantage for all.
Instead of someone to ignore...
Defaming with a smearing campaign,
In a hope to see them fall.

It would have made a difference,
To the ones who now...
Have surrounded themselves,
In surmounting conflicts...
Creating their mental and physical ailments.

It would have made a difference,
If mindsets were connected...
To a discipline respected.
It would have made a difference,
But that difference...
Was never given a chance to happen.

It would have made a difference,
If opportunities presented...
Were recognized.

It would have made the difference!
But it didn't!

Sweet and Soft Whispers

I may not be a bit psychic...
But I know it's there.
That love inside you fight.
With a wish I might like it.

No, I may not be a psychic...
But that fragrance you wear is in the air.
You want to give me a chance.
To cuddle up and romance.

I believe you want me alone.
To claim and have me as your own.
You want me close enough to hear...
Those sweet and soft whispers in my ear.

And I may not be a bit psychic.
But I know it is there.
That love inside you fighting to appear.
With a wish that I might like it.
And have it in my arms to hold it near.

Oh...
Your excitement you try to hide.
But I know it's there.
And not that deep inside.
And I just may keep it a secret...
Until you make me aware.

I may not be a psychic...
But I know what you feel,
For me...
Is there!

Crazy Love

(oliver leiber)
I had everything I ever wanted in my life
Wasnt lookin for nobody to be satisfied
Wasnt looking for a honey or a steady girl
til I turned around the corner
And you rocked my world
You were walkin down the street
Body boomin to the beat
You had everything complete
You was cold- too cold
And the funky things you said
Was like music to my head
And you turnded around and said
Baby lets go
Youre so sexual...
So intellectual...so emotional
You have everything I want...
Everything I need
Chorus:
Upside down youre turning me
Ooh its an emergency
Could it be Im fallin for your crazy love
I want your body next to me
Ooh with such an urgency
Could it be Im fallin for your crazy love
I hear everybody talkin
That your mind aint right
And my friends say
I gone crazy girl but thats alright
Cuz the things we do together
They mean so much more
Boy you got me feeling things
Ive never felt before
Youre so sexual...
So intellectual...so emotional
You have everything I want...
So intellectual...so emotional
You have everything I want...
Everything I need
Chorus x 2
Do you know what you want baby?
Do you like what you see?
Do you wanna have some fun with me?
I can give ya just a little taste, just a little bit
If I give it all to you
Can you handle it? (huh!)
Let me have it all...
Chorus
You know you drive me crazy...
Crazy for your crazy love

The Same Mother

They each shared
the same mother
shared the same loss of her

when the time came
gave the same
last wave

when she was
driven off
to crematorium

and then grave
but each had
their own mother

whom they shared
with no other
one with whom

they shared
a particular time
or place

sitting quietly
face to face
sharing a secret

or confessing
a deed done
or just

the mother to child meeting
with just the two
at some given time

at some particular place
some given year
to share a problem

or tears or anxieties
or deeper fears
and knowing

she would listen
as only mother's can
or do

sharing the time and love
with each particular
person called you

whether daughter or son
she shared
her equal love and time

and yet each knew her
each thought
they knew her best

and carried away
their own best times
in her company

without the rest
their own moments shared
but deep down

they knew
she had her love for each
and each was equal

to the rest
for she never had
a favourite

nor considered
any one the best
so they all shared

the same mother
in the end
all grieved her going

each in their own way
hoping or believing
they would share her

once again
some better place
some future day.

Vaclav Havel

We are not here alone nor for ourselves alone … we are an integral part of higher, mysterious entities against whom it is not advisable to blaspheme. This forgotten awareness is encoded in all religions. All cultures anticipate it in various forms. It is one of the things that form the basis of man's understanding of himself, of his place in the world, and ultimately of the world as such.

Difficult It Is to Let Go

One can love family so much,
That a growth process becomes smothered.
And an adherence to independence,
Becomes a threat no longer welcomed...
To cross a once accepting threshold.

'If you can not obey by 'my' rules.
Get out! '

People enjoy their comforts as they are.
If stale and moldy?
The better.
And a comfort with this is shown.
As sure as everyone knows...
What is stored in the cupboards.
And who enjoys what to eat.

Difficult it is to let go!
Or even force out of the nest...
One who begins to exert an opinion,
That may upset!

And yet...
Doesn't it seem as if those who have enjoyed their lives best...
Are those who had rebelled and been labelled,
As a nuisance and pests!
And...
After experiencing on their own much hell,
Have return to express that once elusive understanding!
And with a comprehension that is openly confessed,
The logic of sharing expenses.
With a patience that should be addressed.

One can love family so much,
That a growth process becomes smothered.
And an adherence to independence,
Becomes a threat no longer welcomed...
To cross a once accepting threshold.
Until a maturity pleasingly seen is approved.

'That's a good idea.
The sharing of expenses and doing that here! '
