The Girl I'm Starting To See
what do you see?
when you look at me?
i'll tell you what i see,
a girl who has accepted who she is,
a girl who just realize that giving up life,
is not going to change a D@mn thing,
no matter how much you want it,
to change everything,
it just made me realize more,
that life has more to offer than meet the eye,
would you agree?
you just can't give up when life gets hard,
if that the case,
we all won't have a chance to become something,
to live out our dreams,
we have people who remind us,
how special we are,
but, we let negative thoughts cloud out judgement,
when we need to push through,
and see all that we can be,

Death Of A Dream
Dreams do not turn to dust. They simply disperse away from you, for as you are in pursuit of those dreams they seem to never come through. You try and try to but things would not say, and as you think about life, you realize how karma's a witch, and prays she stays out of your way. I try to stay way from you karma because my God is all I need, to stay focus on my dreams, and finally succeed.
I can handle the stress of trying to succeed, for my God I feel as though this is my plead, to accomplish something that I can calm as mine, so now, but eternal, that last from the end of time.
Oh lord I need help with my dreams, for with such things nothing is as it seems. Things can be hard, things may be tough, but things are never as rough as the failure of a chased dream. Oh Lord support me at my time of need because my opportunity comes as though it was a stream, because Lord I need your help so this won't be a death of a dream.

Everyone Here Is Working Hard For You
Do you realize how many poems I've seen,
That you have written?
'No!
How many have you actually 'read'? '
Comeon...
You are not aware of this at all?
I read a few but not all.
'I am aware that I am a writer.
Not an accountant.
Nor someone who sets limits,
To achieve a final goal.
Or someone seeking to impress.
Each day presents its own personality.
I'm learnig to appreciate quality and not quantity.
There is something about life I more understand each day.
My personal awareness of 'that' is what I keep addressed.'
Oh...
So what is that?
If you don't mind me asking?
'I know I am not alone...
Even though I perceive I am on my own!
I hear voices clearly say to me,
Everyone here is working hard for you.
That you must believe.'
I see.
And that makes you produce quality you don't notice?
An involvement you keep distanced?
'I did not say I didn't notice the quality.
Painfully that's done.
I don't put my sights on 'quantity'.
I don't want to overwhelm.

I was sixteen, and I had the most terrible dreams,
And specks before my eyes, and nervous weakness.
And I couldn't remember the books I read,
Like Frank Drummer who memorized page after page.
And my back was weak, and I worried and worried,
And I was embarrassed and stammered my lessons,
And when I stood up to recite I'd forget
Everything that I had studied.
Well, I saw Dr. Weese's advertisement,
And there I read everything in print,
Just as if he had known me;
And about the dreams which I couldn't help.
So I knew I was marked for an early grave.
And I worried until I had a cough,
And then the dreams stopped.
And then I slept the sleep without dreams
