I don't work a five-day week as a rule, and I've managed to fill that time up. It hasn't been that hard. I volunteer at school. I'm working because I love it. Yet, I don't not envy women who have a stay-at-home job, because you miss stuff.

I DON'T ENVY WOMEN 2...by talile ali
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
THE STUFF THEY HAVE TO GO THRU
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
HOW COULD REALITY BE SO CRUEL
I GOT A FRIEND
CUTE AS HELL
I'LL LOVE HER TILL THE BITTER END
BEEN RAPED SO MUCH
LOOKED TO GOOD TO TOUCH
MESSED UP PRICE FOR A PRETTY FACE, MY FRIEND
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
THE SHIT THEY HAVE TO GO THRU HURTS SO MUCH
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
HOW COULD REALITY BE SO CRUEL AND TRUE
I HAVE ANOTHER FRIEND
ALL OVER THE PLACE
AS IF SHE LOST HER MIND
WITH HEAVY FLOWS
AND HORMONE WOES
IT'S A MIRACLE SHE'S NOT DYIN
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
THE STUFF THEY GO THRU BECAUSE WE JUST DON'T
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
THE BRAINLESS CRUELTY JUST SIMPLY WON'T
THESE GIRLS I KNOW
THEY ALL OWN MY HEART
TO KNOW SUCH GREAT DESPAIR IS BEYOND JUST FAIR
NEVER KNOWING
A MOMENTS PEACE
AND UNTROUBLED LOVE THAT THEY CAN NEVER SHARE
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
THE STUFF THEY ALL HAVE TO GO THRU
I DON'T ENVY WOMEN
NO I DON'T
HOW COULD THEIR LIFE BE SO CRUEL

End Of The Week
I get out of work
And then I throw away all of my cares
I get out of work
And then I wash the week out my hair
Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday
Its hard as could be
But by old friday evening
Were free, were free, were free
End of the week
The weekend started
Been working so hard to play
End of the week
Its time to party
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Youre tasting freedom
No one to push you around
End of the week
And life has a reason
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Street are alive
You know everybodys going somewhere
You put on the slide
You gotta beat the crowd just everywhere
And all the music all the dancing
Get you so high
And all that sweet romancing
Oh my, oh my, oh my
End of the week
The weekend started
Working so hard to play
End of the week
Its time to party
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week
Feels good now
Feels good now
End of the week
End of the week
Its real good now
Real good now
End of the week
End of the week
End of the week

Fierce Storms
Fierce are storms when they first appear,
Killing the school, killing the family,
When strikes are managed in the atmosphere.
The allegiance forming can be a career,
Kinsfolk are blamed for it actually,
Fierce are storms when they first appear.
The damage is a conflict, of a charioteer,
Waging war of a storm additionally,
When strikes are managed in the atmosphere.
Gods are of a stormy nature, like a chandelier,
The work is able, of a tempest working abnormally,
Fierce are storms when they first appear.
A school admits us when the weather is to cheer,
How do we fight in class and work fitfully?
When strikes are managed in the atmosphere.
The leisure of the skies is about what is near,
My moments stray into oblivion foolhardily,
When strikes are managed in the atmosphere,
Fierce are storms when they first appear.

A School Is So Not Cool
School Is Not So Cool
School, School, School,
A school is not cool
We're here 5 days a week
8 hours a day.
School, School, School,
A school is not cool.
People laugh when we fall
we just have to make a call.
School, School, School
A school is not cool.
We have to work hard to get good grades
I'm not going to do it no more
I do it every day.
We can’t go on the grass
We can’t bother another class
We can’t save spots at lunch
We have to go as a bunch.
We have 3 minutes in the hall
I'm always late what a ball.
We have to pay attention
if not we get detention.
School, School, School,
A school is not cool.
They have too many rules
they play us as fools
if we get A's
the parents jump Hip Hip Hooray.
If we get F's
we tell them we need to take a rest.
We always have homework
we never have class work
they have to many rules
they need to take it cool.
School, School, School,
A school is so not cool!

Say You Miss Me
I've been sleepin' alone, out on my own
I'm sure it seems like I'm takin' my time to get back to you
You been doin' your part, working real hard
I'm not lying, sure it seems like I'm trying to get back at you
Do you miss me too?
Baby say I'll miss you, just say you'll miss me too
Do you miss me too?
Baby say I'll miss you, just say you'll miss me too
I've been losing my mind, wastin' my time
I'm not crazy, sure it seems like I'm lazy, lets get back to you
You been takin' it hard, I know it's hard
I'm not lyin' sure it seems like I'm tryin' to get back at you
Do you miss me too?
Baby say I'll miss you, just say you'll miss me too
Do you miss me too?
Baby say I'll miss you, just say you'll miss me too
Well I been mixed up since the break up
Well all I need you to say
Well everythings o.k.
Baby say I'll miss you, just say you'll miss me too
Baby say I'll miss you, just say you'll miss me too

Comin Home
(allen collins -- ronnie vanzant)
Its been so long since Ive been gone
Another day might be too long for me
Traveling around Ive had my fill
Of broken dreams and dirty deals
A concrete jungle surrounding me
Many nights Ive slept out in the streets
I paid my dues and I changed my style
Seen hard times. all over now
I want to come home. its been so long since Ive been away
And please, dont blame me cause Ive tried
Ill be coming home soon to your love to stay
I miss old friends that I once had
Times aint changed and Ill be glad when I go home
I dont know why the thought came to me
But why Im here I really cant see. and now...
I want to come home. its been so long since Ive been away
And please, dont blame me cause Ive tried
Ill be coming home soon to your love to stay
Coming home to stay
Coming home to your love, mama
Ive seen better days
I miss old friends that I once had
Times aint changed and Ill be glad when I go home
I dont know why the thought came to me
But why Im here I really cant see. and now...
I want to come home. its been so long since Ive been away
And please, dont blame me cause Ive tried
Ill be coming home soon to your love to stay
Coming home to stay
Coming home to your love, mama
Ive seen better days

I spend as much time with my kids as any mom who stays home. I only work during the hours they're at school, but there is always the sense of trying to catch up with all their stuff and not only organize my work life but also their school lives.

The Right Stuff
I was standing at 7:15 waiting for my babys car
Just then out stepped the driver of a limousine
And asked if I was going far
I said Ive got my mind made up
I dont wanna leave him baby cause its clear to me
That its just to tough to find another lover like mine
With the right stuff
The right stuff baby
I dont wanna miss out on the right stuff
Ooh no with mr. right
Just friday bout a week ago
This fellow called me on the phone
And said i live in paris, dont you want to go
I know you must be all alone
Well, itll take more than a fancy trip
Or a chauffeured limousine
Cause I aint never seen no one
Who could give me love like this
The other fellows dont compare
To the right stuff
The right stuff baby
I dont wanna miss out on the right stuff
Ooh no with mr. right
Sing
Hes the only to give me that lovin
Cause next to him there is no other one
Hes very sexy and oh so sweet
And he knocks me off my feet
Say it
I need the right stuff
I got to have the right stuff
I dont wanna miss out on the right stuff

Forty Hour Week
forty hour week (for a livin')
There are people in this country who work hard every day.
Not for fame or fortune do they strive.
But the fruits of their labor are worth more than their pay.
And it's time a few of them were recognized.
Hello detroit auto workers, let me thank you for your time.
You work a forty hour week for a livin', just to send it on down the line.
Hello pittsburgh steel mill workers, let me thank you for your time.
You work a forty hour week for a livin', just to send it on down the line.
This is for the one who swings the hammer, driving home the nail.
Or the one behind the counter, ringing up the sale.
Or the one who fights the fires, the one who brings the mail.
For everyone who works behind the scenes.
You can see them every morning in the factories and the fields.
In the city streets and the quiet country towns.
Working together like spokes inside a wheel.
They keep this country turning around.
Hello kansas wheat field farmer, let me thank you for your time.
You work a forty hour week for a livin', just to send it on down the line.
Hello west virginia coal miner, let me thank you for your time.
You work a forty hour week for a livin', just to send it on down the line.
This one is for the one who drives the big rig, up and down the road.
Or the one out in the warehouse, bringing in the load.
Or the waitress, the mechanic, the policeman on patrol.
For everyone who works behind the scenes.
With a spirit you can't replace with no machine.
Hello, america,
Let me thank you for your time.

I Envy Them Their Love Of Home
Many left the old Town by the river to work and live in Cities far away
From where they went to school and spent their early years and first saw light of day
But some remained in the Homeplace and there worked for lower pay
And credit them for their love of home those who at home did stay.
They sowed their seed in their Hometown their children and grandchildren still live there
Whilst those with the lust of wander in their hearts went off to work and live elsewhere
To the old Town by the river they remain ever true
And credit them for their love of home since credit they are due.
The ancient river by the old Town ever towards the ocean flow
And to the Countryside it babbles though the Seasons come and go
And another generation of young people into young adults have grown
And the stay at home feel quite content with the only life they've known.
When I say I envy them their love of home 'tis not said with tongue in cheek
Compared to theirs my love of the Hometown to say the least seems weak
The wanderlust was in my heart and from the home shore I went to live far away
Though home is where the heart is you hear some people say.

I know that I'm going to have to work hard, keep working hard, and not because of this victory think, ""I'm back."" I don't think like that. I'll definitely work hard. Things are not going to be easy. I might lose first round next week. You never know.

It's A School Day
Welcome home, kids!
How was school?
Now get to work.
You know the rule:
No games, no shows
Till the homework's done.
First do your chores,
Then have some fun.
O my, it's late!
No time to play.
Be off to bed, 'cause
It's a school day.
I Don't Wanna Work
Well i give it little care
Does anybody out there even know
I'm in here?
I just keep my movement going
Somewhere
Like playing in the background baby
Like playing in the background baby
I play the game
You play the way that most men would choose
I'm surprised at you
Way back in the middle of a broken down love affair
You and i found each other
And we fell in love
I ain't never met a man and woman get along better
Than you and i when get together
Still i say
I don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
Don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
Don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
Not if it makes me cry
No no
See the lady walking down the street
She's got on high heel shoes
And her hair full of curlers
She's got stiletto nails
And some black mascara
She's got a push up and a pick up
I tell you that girl's working overtime
I don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
Don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
Not if it makes me cry
No no no no no no
I don't wanna work
I don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work it if makes me cry
Spent last night
Talking to myself in bed
Wondering why i do this over
Over and over again
I don't know
I, i, i, i don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work that hard
Not when it makes me cry
I don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work not that hard
I don't wanna work it it makes me cry
I don't wanna work that hard
I don't wanna work not that hard
I don't wanna work if it makes me cry

Skipping School
It's Monday morning and he wanted to skip school,
his stomach was hurting, that's how he would fool.
Mama approached and he held the stomach hard,
She stood and watched as he cried out, ' Oh my God! '
Mama scolded:
'Told you not to sleep late, Why didn't you follow the rule? '
He said:
'I have a stomachache, please don't send me to school.'
Mama told him to rest, believing all the lies,
and set off to work, giving lots of advice.
He slept for sometime, glad to be at home,
but got up in no time, happy but alone.
He watched some TV and played video games,
but actually was missing all school mates.
Restless and lost, Lazy and bored,
eating all junk food, finally he dozed.
Mama returned home and woke him up,
along came his friends happy and pepped up.
startled but awake now, he asked 'how was school? ',
they all said 'wow, it was pretty cool'.
Suddenly he stood up rattling his brain,
everyone looked up when he shouted in pain.
'come here and feel, my stomach is aching,
this time for real, I am not faking.'
Mama said 'drink some water and soon the pain will pass',
His friends gave the school work which he had missed in the class.
Off they went to play
wishing him to get well soon
He knew he had to stay
as he had wasted the afternoon.
He promised himself, will never make an excuse,
bunking the school was really of no use.

If You Need Advice
What is a goal?
How can we have something to which we do not even know the true definition?
Aspiration cannot be much without inspiraton
And inspiration cannot be done without another's persperation
What do we want to do and for whom do we want to do it?
Ourselves? Gays? Blacks? Women? Men? Children? God?
We want to be an inspiration
We want someone or something to look up to us and say:
'I want to be like you and make a true difference.'
It is not envy, nor jealousy, nor pity on another hand
It's work. Everything is work
There is fun work, dull work, but most importantly, hard work
Hard work is the house of our goal
Fun work is the decor
Dull work is the furniture
All is necesary to achieve complete happiness
Without decor, all we have is a house, not a home
Without furniture, we have nothing with which to have fun
Goals require more than just acquiring a plan

Glad To Be Alive (7'' Mix)
[INTRO:]
Ohh life's so hard
Someday's you need something new to wear
Like a brand new hat
[1a:]
Try so hard
To work it out
People try to hold you back
On day's like that
You need another hand
[1b:]
It's the same all over the world
People have to earn a living
Now you're so far from the troubles at home
Leave them alone
And they'll work themselves out
[CHORUS:]
We love it
Glad to be alive
I like it
Working over time in lovin'
I hope tomorrow feels like this
Yeah
[2:]
Dreaming hard
Brand new car
And another home loan
And the phone bill is overdue
Don't give up on rainy days
I've seen the sun come shining through
On you and me
Make you feel alright
[1b:]
[CHORUS:]
[BRIDGE:]
Life's so hard
We can work it out
Will it's a big tough city
We can work out our way
[CHORUS:]
[repeat & fade]

Family: The SMS-Messages Start...
It is still dark when we leave home - the
school gate is barely open; an hour and
a half before school starts a little boy
already there; out in the winter cold; then
a little girl is also left half an hour before
her school starts; in the afternoon he goes
to after-school; but she has to stay in the
school grounds; at two-forty-five the SMS-
messages start: Hi mom, what are you
doing? - I’m typing my love, and you? –
I’ve got nothing to do; - I know that’s
not true with all that maths and homework
tasks, yet I play along; I wish she were
here or already at home instead of at
school all alone; that was the choice I
made as a working mom; if I give up
my job I’ll never find one again – it’s
all about quotas and race and not expertise
– besides, it is my whole social life – if
only school did not end at two in the
afternoon and children were not left
all by themselves so soon…
