Certainly the plagiarism, and dealing with the fallout of it, was the most difficult thing I've ever faced since I started writing.

He had never seen a "Fallout," and he hoped he'd never see one. A consistent description of the monster had not survived, but Francis had heard the legends. … Brother Francis visualized a Fallout as half-salamander, because, according to tradition, the thing was born in the Flame Deluge, and as half-incubus who despoiled virgins in their sleep, for, were not the monsters of the world still called "children of the Fallout"? That the demon was capable of inflicting all the woes which descended upon Job was recorded fact, if not an article of creed.

Why Is It So Hard For Me Now?
Why is it so hard for me now?
Why is so difficult to get going?
Why is it so difficult to feel anything I do
really means much of anything?
Why am I so down now?
I have resisted this before
I will resist it again
Somehow along the way
Something will come and get me interested again
Somehow I will get out of it
But for now
I am in it deeply
And do not know how to get out.
Even writing this does not bring hope
The way ‘writing' once did
I am really down now
Perhaps writing this
Will get me going
A little.

It's difficult to get started-when it comes to dealing with an unknown quantity, people are reluctant to trust their own opinion. It helps if two or three people give you a boost.

Thats How The Whole Thing Started
(graham russell)
I feel just like your love tonight
So whos to say Im wrong
Ive got to say I feel just right
Its never been so strong
There seems so many points to make
But I feel this is a big mistake
Were so old and this is new
But Ive really got to tell you
I always said that you should remain free
But that was up to you and not to me
I started strong but I met someone
You know how long its been
Thats how the whole thing started
Thats how the whole thing started
(chorus)
Thats how the whole thing started
Thats how the whole thing started
Thats how the whole thing started
Thats how the whole thing started
(repeat)
Baby, baby its wrong
But Ive been in and out of love so long
Here we stand not more than friends
I broke your heart again
(chorus)
Sit down with me and we can talk about it peacefully
Were under the strain of a losing game
Thats how it must be
Thats how the whole thing started
Thats how the whole thing started
(chorus)
(repeat chorus)
I feel just like your love tonight
So whos to say Im wrong
Ive got to say I feel just right
Its never been so strong

Year Of The Parrot
In the year of our lord
Call it 1994
A fine vintage of mimicry
There are those that take their sound
From someone else's toil
Liking to parrots you see
I've seen the likes of kate bush
And van morrison
Teaching the parrots to sing
Take a zepplin riff
And you alter it a bit
And make lots of money
It's called plagiarism
You want some of that cheese
Just take a big ol' bite
Careful not to choke on it please
Now here we go
It's called plagiarism

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices -- to be found in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all its own -- for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

I Come Alive In Writing
I come alive in writing
Even if the writing means nothing to anyone else-
I come alive in writing
Even if I am totally deluding myself as to its value-
I come alive in writing
Even if at times while writing there is an underlying hopelessness and despair -
I come alive in writing
As if writing is what God has given me to do-
I come alive in writing
As if through it I can truly give to and help others-
I come alive in writing
As if life has meaning through it-
I come alive in writing
Even when I sense the writing is not good or great
As I would wish it to be.

City Ain't Big Enough
Ooh
Yeah
Ooh
Ahh
We met at work
And we played from the start
You were the DJ
I was working in behind the bar
Our love was sudden
You were doing something right
You started seeing one out of sight
In the beginning (beginning)
When you were spinning (spinning)
It was my song you were playing
I was never saying
What I was feeling (feeling)
What words I dealing (dealing)
But I can't hold it back no more
'Cos I don't wanna be friends
Baby you better know
What you I never know
You bring the light in both ends
Type of girl when you got a lot
One is not enough
City ain't big enough
Doctor

Dear Eloise
(clarke / hicks / nash)
Dear eloise, I am writing to say
A number of funny thing I heard today.
I heard that hes left you and run off to sea.
Could be the best thing thats happened to me.
Writing a letter to make you feel better.
Sorry to hear that he left you that way.
I could have told you, he was much older,
So much older than you.
You rushed blindly, he treated you kindly
Until he found out what he could get from you.
You should have departed before he got started.
Now youve been burned just like I said you would.
Please read my letter closely.
Its beneficial, too.
You must read in-between the lines,
A message you will see.
If you use your mind, youll find
I want you back with me.
Verse 2
So much older than you, so much older than you.
Chorus

What's so difficult...
What's so difficult,
About the word,
No.
What's so difficult,
About our,
Relationship.
What's so difficult,
About,
Us.
What's so difficult,
About the words,
Stay away.
What's so difficult,
About,
Don't talk to me.
What's so difficult...
