The purpose of all higher education is to make men aware of what was and what is to incite them to probe into what may be. It seeks to teach them to understand, to evaluate, to communicate.

Esp
Dark is the night
High is the fire
Touches the sky
Love with no shape or form
I am in your minds eye
Just let your dreams run wild
Somewhere, out across the nation
Someone, waiting in the shadows
Listen, I dont wanna hear
Return to, sender
Calling, I can see the future
Someday, signal with a single motion
Show me you believe in someone, somewhere
Oh baby you, you give, me
You give me the runaround
Just another night, with, you
Youre on my mind
And we got love
And lovell take you higher and higher and higher
Higher and higher
(chorus)
E.s.p
I communicate with you
Tell me what it means to feel
What am I supposed to do
E.s.p
Nothing any words can say
Nothing that we know is real
But itll take your breath away
Your breath away
Danger, suddenly an early warning
Suddenly the soul is burning
But I still believe in someone, somewhere
Baby you, give, me
You give me the runaround
Just another night with you
Im in your mind
And we got love
And lovell take you higher and higher and higher
Higher and higher
E.s.p
I communicate with you
Tell me what it means to feel
What am I supposed to do
E.s.p
And lovell take you higher and higher and higher
Higher and higher
Be prepared to make your sacrifice, tonight
Far beyond the point of no return, oh no
And we got love
And lovell take you higher and higher and higher
Higher and higher, higher and higher
(repeat chorus)

We Teach Them Young
We teach them young,
What to dislike.
And...
To separate into divisons,
With preferences selected.
We teach them young,
How to hate and who to fight.
With weapons used to kill.
And incite with mindless deeds.
We...
Teach them this!
We teach them,
With a rehabilitation done...
To respect laws when broken.
With the best of pretentions kept.
We...
Teach them this!
We teach them young,
The art of deception.
Self righteousness and hypocriscy.
And then when they reflect these lessons taught...
We teach them denial to have others believe.
We teach them young with a doing done they do!
And yet we get upset with regrets to protest those tests,
They have passed.
With accusations directed at others to blame,
For implimenting those tasks we teach.
We...
Teach them young!
With a doing of this not to admit.
As we wish for escape from their commitments,
Made.
We...
Teach them young.

Another Pretentious Move Kept to Deny Truth
I am not one against higher education.
I am one who takes offense against those...
Getting high while being educated.
This is not a recent phenomenon.
This is one of those situations,
Swept under the rug...
In another pretentious move kept to deny truth.
And today,
Teachers AND school administrators feel...
It is their duty to lie about achievements students make.
While those who desired to improve with noticeable,
And successful changes...
Were deemed our methods and approaches unacceptable.
Well...
Do you highbrows feel me now?
I am not one against higher education.
I am one who takes offense against those...
Getting high while being educated.
And those who teach with beliefs that's what that do,
While medicating themselves on maintaining their pretensions.

Education
In a deep dark jungle long time ago
Lived a lonesome caveman
He was a solitary soul
And he spent his playtime
Chewing meat from bones.
He didnt know how to talk much
He only knew how to groan
Then he lifted up his hands and reached to the sky
Let out a yell and no one replied.
Frustration and torment tore him inside
Then he fell to the ground and he cried and he cried.
But then education saved the day.
He learned to speak and communicate
Education saved the day.
He thanked God for the friends he made.
cos everybody needs an education
Everybody needs an education.
Black skin, red skin, yellow or white,
Everybody needs to read and write
Everybody needs an education.
Thank the day when that primitive man
Learned to talk with his brothers
And live off the land.
He left his cave and he moved far away
And he lived with his friends in a house that theyd made
He learned to think and to work with his brain
And he astounded his friends with all the knowledge he gained
He wrote it down on a rock that he found
And he showed all his friends and they passed it around
And then education came that day.
The day it came was a sacred day.
Education came that day
He thanked God for the friends hed made.
Well man built a boat and he learned how to sail
And he travelled far and wide
Then he looked up above saw the stars in the sky
So he learned how to fly.
Thanks to all the mathematicians
And the inventors with their high i.q.s
And the professors in their colleges
Trying to feed me knowledge
That I know Ill never use.
Thank you sir for the millions of words
That youve handed me down and youve told me to learn
But Ive got words in my ears and my eyes
Ive got so many facts that I must memorize
Because educations doing me in
I want to stop but my heads in a swim
Education drives me insane
I cant recall all the facts on my brain.
Education came that day
The day it came was a sacred day
Education saved the day
He thanked God for all the friends he made.
Teacher, teach me how to read and write,
You can teach me about biology,
But you cant tell me what I am living for
cos thats still a mystery.
Teacher, teach me about nuclear physics
And teach me about the structure of man,
But all your endless calculations
Cant tell me why I am.
No you cant tell me why I am,
No you cant tell me why I am.
Everybody needs education,
Open universities, education.
Every race every creed, education.
And every little half-breed, education.
Every nationality, education.
All the little people need education.
Eskimos and pygmies need
And even aborigines, education.
Well physics and geography, education.
Philosophy and history, education.
Science and biology, education,
Geometry and poetry, education.
Well, education, education, education, education
(repeat education till end)

The ten commandments of communication
The ten commandments of communication
Verify your ideas before clarification, as to whether the contents of your
communication will really serve the purpose of your communication. Consult others, where appropriate, the communication plan. This will help you decide the audience-based right content, flow, duration and location.
Make clear to the audience the true purpose of communication. Make it known to the audience as to what you want them to do after receiving the inputs from you. It can be just an act, can be an attitudinal change, can be drawing a strategy or plan of action.
Ensure you are in the right set of environment for the communication.
Communication is not effected just by words and gestures, but also by the quality of place where you communicate.
Take into confidence your audience. Encourage them to come out with their experience in the subject of communication. Accordingly polish your ways.
Be sure where to emphasize and where to dilute. Check yourself the
overtones and emphasis on messages conveyed, as audience may not notice.
Avoid being theoretical all through. Give practical examples. Enthuse
audience to come out with problems, connected with the subject and offer, if possible, practical solutions.
Follow up with what you communicate. Ensure audience is with you through the entire communication. Give no impression that you are evaluating their ability to absorb.
Demonstrate that you practice what you preach. Your past experiences may come handy.
Communicate for tomorrow, based on previous learning, enabling the audience visualize new horizons on the subject of communication.
Last, but not the least, seek not to be understood, but to understand. Be a good listener too.

The best math lesson we can teach college students this year is to subtract a tuition increase and benefit from the dividends of higher education.
To Learn To Not Practice
To give is higher than to receive.
To teach is higher than to learn.
Everyone wants to be higher.
To learn to teach is not to practice.

They Don't Understand
They don't understand
No
They say we're just playing games
That it isn't real
But it's what we feel
(Oh yeah)
And they say it doesn't make sense
That we're just wasting time
And they wonder why
(Yeah)
You know we got our own special language
That only we can speak
And parents never know just what it means
(Oh no)
They don't understand
How we communicate
Or so many things
That we do and say
They don't really get what it's all about
No they never can understand
Pokemon
I can't explain
If they don't know why
You see it's everywhere
Well

Digressive Detectors
I've been told on a few occasions,
That I don't spend time fine tuning my poems...
To enhance any 'suspected' relevant,
Thought process.
Digressive detectors,
Are all over the place these days.
And I share with those critics...
They have no idea of the amount of time I spend,
Seeking new avenues to avoid making sense at all.
Or ease into a way to expose my humility.
Please!
I have achievements to accomplish!
To add additional clarity...
For those probing.
I look at it this way...
Anything anyone should find of mine,
To critique with criticisms?
Keep this in mind...
That which you claim to find that is mine,
You have made an illegitimate claim!
Nothing of mine is yours to find,
Had I not put it there.
Hoping you'd be with a microscope.
So...
Probe on!
And if you find anything about me...
Or what I've written,
You might believe I am not aware...
Please,
Make that known.
But not to me.
I may be too busy...
Plotting to divulge actual evidence to prove,
I know exactly what I'm doing.
And...
I want to ensure,
You reveal your findings...
And make my mistakes public!
I am in waiting for another fool,
To believe I am one as well.
They've got to make up what they say,
Although it is dumb!
Digressive detectors.
Probing on the run.
They've got to make up what they say,
Although it is dumb!
Digressive detectors.
Probing on the run.
I may be too busy...
Plotting to divulge actual evidence to prove,
I know exactly what I'm doing.
So...
Probe on!
And if you find anything about me...
Or what I've written,
You might believe I am not aware...
Please,
Make that known.
But not to me.
I am not impressed,
With your digressions.
They've got to make up what they say,
Although it is dumb!
Digressive detectors.
Probing on the run.
They've got to make up what they say,
Although it is dumb!
Digressive detectors.
Probing on the run.
They've got to make up what they say,
Although it is dumb!
Digressive detectors.
Probing on the run.
Digressive detectors.
Probing on the run!

We Have Decided You to Be Overqualified
Ive read sheer nonsense,
Many declare as being great.
And I am also aware of incompetence,
Some never self evaluate.
Since they are hired,
To keep those more aware...
Less involved in their affairs.
'I'm sorry.
We have decided you to be overqualified.
And we seek someone with a 'specific' background,
To fulfill a need we seek to keep around.
We are sure with your multiple skills,
Something more ideal will come along for you.
And one day will be found...
If kept pursued.
But today right now,
There is nothing here in view.
Good luck to you! '

Phrases Phrom the Phray
Katie says that I am great at explaining things,
You have to know things to explain them,
... and that takes some real education,
unless your audience is stupid too,
or at least dumber than you!
Higher education is a good thing , if you can,
the more knowledgeable, the better for you,
there is nothing wrong with knowing,
what to understand
Don't try to take away the bears fruit,
even deep in hibernation,
he may growl at you,
... you don't want to wake him up - - -
because he does not give a damn
about your double - breasted pinstripe suit!
Real education happens in the years,
and months and days,
through the ladies,
through the music,
through the haze!
Through the smile of a stranger,
or a simple turn of phrase,
But, mostly through the feelings felt,
from a million yesterdays!

Reveal the higher power,
Reveal the higher power,
Reveal the higher power,
Before I die,
I think that I got that will,
The higher power will make me great,
Thinking that my throne,
This is the house of hopes,
All that I have to do,
This is that understanding,
By your love I saw the house of glory,
In all that I have to do,
There is no need to cry,
Come and make me understand the life making me,
Before I die,
Reveal the higher power from the heavenly Creator.

Education Celebration
(An 'Education Week' Rap)
Education, education;
There's nothing quite like education!
It gives you hope and lets you cope
And offers great remuneration.
Education, education;
The path to many a great vacation;
A fancy car and caviar;
A life of fun and relaxation.
Education, education;
Provides a firm and strong foundation
For better lives improved by drive,
By effort and by motivation.
Education, education;
Sing aloud in exultation!
And when you pass that final class
We'll shake your hand in admiration.
Education, education;
Requires a lot of perspiration.
You can bet - a lot of sweat,
And just a pinch of inspiration.
Education, education;
Let's all sing in jubilation!
For, those who strive and have the drive
May someday own a 'corporation'!
Right to education
Right to education
Free and compulsory
Education to all
Free and compulsory
Education through mother tongue
Right to education
Education to maintain
Peace and harmony
Education to keep
The world order
And discipline
Right to education
Education to earn
For livelihood
Education to provide
Food clothing and shelter
Without depending others
Right to education
Free and compulsory
To educate all
That we all are
Brothers and sisters

Mother Mary
*
Try to make some changes really on the line
Given your religion, never ever time
All the jokers laughing, queens upon the floor
Mothers understand it, baby needs some more
Head held up to ransom, by a quick hand and a gun
Just your education, hard to understand
Will the teenage legend make a mark on you
Make a big time status, with a pen well stab it through
**
Mother mary could you ever really feel the same
And would you try to understand a wild colonial boy
*
Repeat
