Probably I, like a lot of people, became a writer in imitation of or in homage to the books I enjoyed. When you're so captivated by something, you think, could I do that? Hmm, let me try.

Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my book?
It took me years to write, will you take a look?
It's based on a novel by a man named Lear
And I need a job, so I want to be a paperback writer
Paperback writer
It's the dirty story of a dirty man
And his clinging wife doesn't understand
His son is working for the Daily Mail
It's a steady job but he wants to be a paperback writer

It's a thousand pages, give or take a few
I'll be writing more in a week or two
I can make it longer if you like the style
I can change it round and I want to be a paperback writer

It could make a million for you overnight
If you must return it, you can send it here
But I need a break and I want to be a paperback writer

Stephen King in many respects is a wonderful writer. He has made a contribution. People in the future will be able to pick up Stephen King's books and learn a lot about who we were by reading those books.

It's always hard when you're playing someone for a lot of people out there who are going to see the movie after reading the books. There's a communion between a reader and the writer, so people will have an idea who Sirius Black is and I might not be everyone's idea of that.

For if she
Blesses me,
I'll always be

Writer- a must?
Out of what does a writer write?
Out of hatred or perversion;
Out of denial or deprivation.
Why does a writer write?
To vent his anger or hatred.
To cry out from pain or lust.
How does a writer write?
By borrowing or distorting.
By modeling or duping.
For what does a writer write?
For an applause and a place.
It alone suits him, an idler.
What is the use of a writer?
For him to flaunt his skill.
For readers to idle away
Does the society need a writer?
Does a woman need cosmetics?
Writer is a part of civilization

If People Did What They Enjoyed
If people did what they enjoyed,
There would be fewer people in debt.
With an identifying who there were.
And the Joneses living next door,
Could live their lives without fearing...
Who tries to keep up with them.
Once they decided...
Living basically was a choice.
And something they did not have to do.
Preventing health and mental issues.
As well as an economic crisis!
If people did what they enjoyed.

Burn Those Books
I would love to believe
That education was a key
To open the jailed opportunities
I kept on comprehending
That education had by all means
Been a hero to rescue
All the captured visions
But today I turn around
And shout aloud up in the mountains
Today I come to disclose
The hidden truth
And I continue to voice out
'BURN ALL THOSE BOOKS'
I have seen so much cruelty
I have experienced the devil
All in human's body
conserved by the minds
And captivated by all their hearts
But so I never turned back from saying
BURN ALL THOSE BOOKS!
Racism, Poverty and war
But yet have all this stapled papers
Attached together to form a book
Then what could be the significancy of it?
I say put all of those in tha burning flames
Because the world is dieying regardless,
And they are very much useless
I say:
'Burn All Those Books'

A Writer's Dream
A writer's dream
You keep trying
Never denying to one day achieve
Despite what most believe
A writer's dream
You never give up
Regardless of what others may say
But wait patiently until that day
A writer's dream
Although it's been a while
It made you smile
To see your dream coming through
No matter how long it seemed to you
A writer's dream
You always believed in yourself
That's why your time has come
To be a successful writer
With the privilege of making much income
A writer's dream
You're happy to finally get this far
The world knows just who you are
Now this new sudden fame
Makes you feel like a star

Between imitation and envy, imitation is better.
Never Mind Books
Books are forces,
They are resources,
His mind just deserves,
And it contains and preserves
You, the writer of need
Who wrote the books to read.
Listen again and again
To the speaker of words
Of phrases that strain
The mind of lords
Who speak as well
And listen to the bell.

The Writer's Ink
I am the writer's ink,
So just write with me without any fear;
I will move more than expected,
I will write more than expected,
I am the writer's ink.
Use me slowly or even faster,
I will talk more than expected;
I do have the message to teach everyone.
Of the beauty of communication,
I am used by everyone;
I am the writer's ink,
I do make people sad or glad;
My ink makes rulers sad,
My ink makes personalities sad,
My ink makes the common man sad,
The way i am used matters.
I am the writer's ink,
I am not expensive;
Buy me and use me always.
How can a country like Ghana be poor? !
Ghana has gold, oil, cocoa and timber;
There are also diamond, bauxite and other minerals;
How then can Ghana be poor? !
The writer's ink should tell us more.
Mismanagement is the food in the country,
Ghana has really more than it needs;
This country shouldn't be poor.
What the leaders say on air is not,
What we see on the ground;
I am the talkative ready to talk.
I am the writer's ink,
I will always speak the truth!

on IMitation (will that anger you?)
L'imitazione del male supera sempre l'esempio; comme per il contrario, l'imitazione del bene e sempre inferiore.]
Respicere exemplar
vitae morumque jubebo
Doctum imitatorem,
et veras hinc ducere voces.
Pindarum quisquis studet aemulari,
lule ceratis ope Daedalea Nititur pennis,
vitreo daturus Nomina ponto.
Dociles imitandis Turpibus ac pravis omnes sumus
C'est un betail servile et sot a mon avis Que les imitateurs.]
Der Mensch ist ein nachahmendes Geschopf.
Und wer Vorderste ist, fuhrt die Heerde.
Paradoxically though it may seem,
it is none the less true
that life imitates art far more
than art imitates life.
Imitation is suicide.
One who imitates what is bad always goes beyond his model; while one who imitates what is good always comes up short of it.
No man ever yet became great by imitation.
Everything that irritates us about others can lead us
to an understanding of ourselves.
Most people are other people.
Their thoughts are someone else's opinions,
their lives a mimicry,
their passions a quotation.
Those who do not want to imitate anything,
produce nothing.
To be as good as our fathers we must be better,
imitation is not discipleship
Insist on yourself; never imitate.
Posterity weaves no garlands for imitators.
Imitation, if noble and general,
insures the best hope of originality.
And now, weigh the pros and cons
why have i imitated you
and you imitating me
the great writers
above speak beforehand before us
and i have not heard ever
one of them complaining
or angry
perhaps
they are not to shortsighted
insecure
and shallow and short-tempered
precisely, they are great.
and here's the last saying for the day:
Imitation is the sincerest flattery.

Of all the ways of acquiring books, writing them oneself is regarded as the most praiseworthy method. Writers are really people who write books not because they are poor, but because they are dissatisfied with the books which they could buy but do not like.

You Little Fool
Daddys best girl in the world is not supposed to have a boyfriend
But shes never wanted at home
Other girls are allowed to wear their makeup
She sneaks out her lipstick powder and comb
She surrounds his name with hearts and flowers
Talks on the telephone for hours and hours
But with the bird in his hand
And two on a string
The words of love have an imitation ring
You little fool, you little fool
I suppose that your going to stay all night
You little fool
Dont look at me that way you know it isnt right
You little fool
They say no news is good news
The little girl wants information
Mother just gives her some pills to choose
And says go and use your imagination
Daddys best girl in the world says just look what I have got
As she sits beside him on the high stool
With his arm around her neck snowball in one hand
And the other full of imitation jewels
She fingers a string of pearls
An imitation but hell never know it
Imitation lashes flutter above
Looking for an imitation of love
You little fool
I suppose that your going to stay all night
You little fool
So dont look at me that way you know it isnt right
You little fool
