When I felt rather overcome with my father's opposition, I said as firmly as I could, that I must have this or something else, that I could not live without some real work.

The Opposition aren't really the Opposition. They're just called the Opposition. But in fact they are the Opposition in exile. The Civil Service are the Opposition in residence.

Experiencing Those Interests
As one who has chosen to live my life,
With an appreciation to be creative...
And many times facing opposition,
Attempting to prevent...
My experiencing those interests as I saw fit.
I sometimes felt those obstacles I confronted,
Were place on my path with a deliberateness.
And when I decided I would and could,
Overcome each one with a struggling done.
I began to realize the benefits of my own wisdom.
To refuse as I do today any invitation,
To revisit my past.
For the purposes to entertain those who believe,
I seek to joke to solict and get their laughs.

To tell you the truth, in my work, love is always in opposition to the elements. It creates dilemmas. It brings in suffering. We can't live with it, and we can't live without it. You'll rarely find a happy ending in my work.

That' Once Found
After many years of declaring my identity.
With an opposition to be 'me' on occasion.
I set out on the pursuit of one thing.
And one thing only!
That...
'Was' my purpose.
That...
'Is' my purpose.
And 'that'...
Once found,
Can not be reversed.
I have never had the option,
Of a practiced rehearsal.
Or a flaw I had to welcome,
To live with and overcome.

Ugly He Was Born
ugly he was born
even her mother had second thoughts loving him
his father disliked him
junked him from his
masculine affairs,
but he learned a lot
from being unloved
he keeps on knowing
what love is by loving
more those unloved
around him,
he sketched the faces
of those who were always set aside
or left out
those whose faces
do not matter
he learned all these
sufferings in his heart
kept the feelings
inside him like a big
book to read
when he is lost
in pain,
he did not stop loving
and those unloved
felt him, so real
he is real,
he is real
they call him real
somehow, he felt the
comfort of his real self
ugly, yet by now
so confident
to be himself
and not be somebody else

Building Bridges
the human heart builds bridges...
that the ego seeks to destroy.
whether you strike a match,
and light a candle,
light a fire in the stove,
or light a lantern...
you are creating light....
light by any other name is light.
we are all born seeking the same thing,
in that way we are the same.
the paths we take, the choices we make,
the battles we fight, the society we live in...
make us different.
the real journey is in seeing through
the differences...
whether you call your father daddy,
father, pops, the old man, or Bill...
he is still your father!
whatever color your skin, whatever language you speak,
whatever your sexual orientation or your religion...
you are still human!
the sacredness of life is in the shared experience...
when we extend the hand, it is to all,
without discrimination or reservation!
real change and real dialogue occur when
the ears are grounded in the heart's work....
building bridges!

My Real Dad
He is not my father,
the one who gave me life...
He is the one who helped me,
when I was burdened with strife.
He is not my father,
the one who walked away...
He is the one who loves me,
more than enough to stay.
He is a real person,
who is never left me sad...
He is not my real father,
But he is my real Dad.

Early Works -Years
Children playing with their toys
dotted around the floor
peer at you with questioning eyes
as if you are a stranger in their lair.
At work all day and out of sight
but never out of mind
the only time your presence felt
is when its time to go to bed.
Oh, if work were only a dream
more time you could spend with them
playing games and being a father and a friend,
but to live you must work, toil all the day
missing the years in which your children play.

That Is His Job
We live to dream.
Inspite of opposition.
Despite of conditions
Unwarranted.
Hidden to denied...
Or dangled to tease
Unpleasing those
Who live lives trying.
Many are recruited to assist
Dreams of some.
Those who believe their dream wont come...
Unless others are overcomed and succumbed
By their desires!
We all live to dream,
Within this dream of life that's dreamt!
We call upon the consciousness of God,
To make real our hopes,
Because that is HIS job...
To deliver!

Who Is A Father?
What is a father or better yet who?
Who is a father? What does he do?
Is he a man with a spouse? Does he live in your house?
Does he get up early and stay up late?
Just to make sure there's food on your plate?
Is he caring or daring? Does he talk real fast?
Is he wise and unerring? Does talk about the past?
Is he short or tall? Does size matter at all?
When you hear his voice do you answer his call?
Who is a father? Did you get the right one?
Who is a father? Are you a daughter or a son?
Who is a father? Did you get one?
I have a Father! He never leaves me alone!
In the arena of fathers some answer the call
Then there are those who always fall
Short of God's vision for their life
God gave them to you to pray they get right! !
Who is your father?
Did he leave before you were born?
Make God your father! !
Then you're neither forsaken nor forlorn!
Who is your father? Does he know you by name?
My Father in Heaven knows your very frame?

Out Of Cage
All these years I ran after
Wealth, assets, amusement and laughter
I got no joy with any of them either
It was driving me with fear
I was lonely soul
Caged but looked beautiful
Everyone praised my fame
But I felt in heart a real shame
'Was it not a trap' I felt
Something bad at heart was smelt
I, for a moment, decided to come out
I had lot more in mind to talk about
Yes it was golden cage
To be kept in for all the ages
Surrounded by illusory magic
I now realized its hollowness with basic
Father, mother sister and wife too
Felt real joy and happiness through
I saw it on their faces with shine
I too at once felt very fine
No, this is not my goal
I felt it a real foul
Not suiting to my real soul
I decided to make it final call
One more strong resolve
And all problems may be solved
No anger, hunger or any other wish
Life must end with fine finish
I wished to open the door
Now I was real rich and not poor
I saw the closeness with divine land
Everything seemed to be beautiful and not dead end
I am finally out of cage
Walking away with prints behind on page
I may be cursed, laughed and called coward
I shall have more in store to look forward

Overcome
even now the world is bleedin' but feelin' just fine all numb
in our castle where we're always free to choose never free enough
to find i wish somethin' would break cuz we're runnin' out of time
and i am overcome i am overcome holy water in my lungs i am overcome
these women in the street pullin' out their hair my master's
in the yard givin' light to the unaware this plastic little place
is just a step amongst the stairs
and i am overcome i am overcome baby holy water in my lungs i am overcome
so drive me out out to that open field turn the ignition off
and spin around your help is here but i'm parked in this open space
blockin' the gates of love
i am overcome i am overcome holy water in my lungs i am overcomed
beautiful drowning this beautiful drowning this holy water
this holy water is in my lungs
and i am overcome i am overcome i am overcome i am overcome

Father, son, spirit
The father conceives his son
the son grows with his father
the spirit allows the heritage
Father, son, spirit. The father says sweet things to his son
the son is a rosebud to his father
the spirit remembers the instant of conception
Spirit, father, son. The father works, gladly
the son at school, learns much
the spirit, lovingly, joins them
Son, father, spirit The son makes his father, a good father
the union of father and son,
is the work of the spirit of love
Spirit, son, father.

Leaf is life
Leaf is life and life is to leave
Live to leave and firmly believe
There is purpose and real aim
Life is really worth to claim
Why leaves look so beautiful?
Hang on tree as very faithful
Real bond to last permanent and forever
Even if existed no danger
Even though for short span?
Must have life utility plan
To live successfully
Merrily and happily
If not then it is burden
May end anytime or all of sudden
It may be deemed as wasted birth
Life is uncertain but certainty is death

Father
It was my father who gave his
shoulders to make me ride.
In his arms and on his thighs
felt above all and pride.
Being head of the family
he was strict on discipline
Paid exclusive attention
involving with children.
His love, his guidance
paid significant role;
in my development
and getting my most goals.
To become a real human
he taught the lesson.
Always supported financially
for career and education.
Living with him learnt:
in the world, how to live.
Traits and techniques of life
most I learnt from him.
In return of love and affection
whatever I give is less
Pray the Father of Universe
bless my father happiness.

Happy Brithday Dad
Some fathers are just father figures;
A real father is still very rare;
That’s why I value so highly
The father/son/daughter bond that we share.
I’m blessed to have a real father,
Who displays his love with such ease,
And that’s why I say on your birthday,
I love you more than a mouse loves its cheese!
