Faith means intense, usually confident, belief that is not based on evidence sufficient to command assent from every reasonable person.

Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.

What is faith and belief? .....

Although, we say that a man with faith
can win the world without trouble
But faith is believing something is not seen
We do exercise believe in faith everyday
But believing in reality is more truth than faith
We cannot see most things that we have faith
even they are existing like a faith in God.
When we become lack of belief in ourselves
then we become nothing but weakening in our soul
Most of the people dream to have something
and they want them to come true within their faith
They don't want to achieve them through belief in reality.
Some think faith and belief are part of evolution
It is true that success in life need to have both faith and belief
but belief is the way of searching for the truth or reality
Faith is known as trust on something but absence of proof
But belief is built with knowledge and a reality is proofed.

What is Hope?

Never was a larger word
than Hope;
all dreams reside there;

In the Future,
resides our desires laid bare;
our Now wants to go there
our Past wants to be washed away
or celebrate there-
inside Hope's Cathedral.

Hope is the Promised Land.
both Means
and Destination.

But, what good does Hope do
if it goes away
after
what we hope for comes true?

Is there not another dream then
that Hope must then fulfill?

But, here we ask
what then is Hope itself?

Is it my Expectation Confident
that what I want
will come true?

Is it merely that Leap of Faith
that all that currently ails
will dissipate
in my hoped-for future state?

If all is risked on this single word
then we must know exactly
what it is;
for me
what is Hope's meaning for me?

Well the Expectation idea
that Hope is the confidence that
want I want will come true
is too much for me.
I don't have that kind of confidence
do you?

Nothing for me is ever for sure
not even Hope
itself
because, as we all know, Hope can
give way to Black Despair where
by definition Hope has gone
and fled.

Since no one can read our future states
we bob and weave between
hoping for hope
but fearing despair.

I rather like the Leap of Faith Idea
where we all make
the assumption that actions now,
will in future state,
pay off
and Hope will fulfill the expectations
we have placed there.

But note,
it is all too true that Hope
then is fully based
on Leaps of Faith
and then we ask
faith in what?

If all of Human-Kinds Hopes
distill from Human-Kinds Dreams
then upon what faith did cavemen
dream of a better world?

Upon a pagan God,
restless shadows on the cave wall,
incantations said and made?

But the pointed point here is
that our ancestors did have
blind faith in something which
caused them to feel that dreams
they dreamed
had some Hope of becoming Real
and that Hope
had to involve for them an enormous leap
beyond what they could see
in their lives then.

So Leaping then is what we do
even where there is no evidence
in reality that our dreams
however fervently held
will ever actually come true.

So Hope we see
is bound up with
Mystery
and Leapings
into Voids
with nothing more
than the belief
that in dreaming
it
we can make it come true-
be brought into reality.

Rather like writing a poem.

Humm, the moral here:
Nothing can be done
unless one
has the dream
and Hope
to make it so
and by hoping bring it
into reality.

This seems to be
the true History
of Human-Kind
at its best
and
at its
worse.

Hebrews 11: 1

Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the light of the Lord that opens the door
Reveling the light of heaven serene
the evidence of things not seen

My God has revealed the evidence
His glorious power with consequence

Healing me and making me clean
the evidence of things not seen

Faith in Christ without reservation
releaved the pain of my aberration
So open His book to see what I mean
the evidence of things not seen

Faith is the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen

Faith in Belief - Coping Strategy

Must have faith or what else is left?
Lack of faith, sorrow bereft
Belief in a God, nature, galactic deities
Even atheistic belief gives some amenities

Belief in self to succeed
The need to daily feed
Belief in love, seeking to thrive
Faith in thriving to stay alive

Those with no faith to look forward to
Stranded, without a helping clue
Grasp a belief enabling you to cope
One that brings fulfillment with hope

Faith in music unbound
Open ears to the acoustic sound
Sweet rhythms renowned
Belief that art opens the way
Creative devotion bless the day

For some, blind faith is better than none
Others may curse their belief, ready to abscond
Seek a belief peaceful, considerate
Avoid following the fanatical illiterate

The three C’s of hardiness agility
Commitment, Control, Creative ability
Deliver strong sustainability

Belief in Joy and Happiness, treasured gold
Warm goodness and kindness never cold
Resolve persistent griefs
With faith in positive beliefs

The belief that there are other life forms in the universe is a matter of faith. There is not a single shred of evidence for any other life forms, and in forty years of searching, none has been discovered. There is absolutely no evidentiary reason to maintain this belief.

Supply And Demand

There seems to be a universal law of supply and demand
and all that’s truly had is in accordance with its command.
Working in conjunction with the law of cause and effect
it starts to really make some sense to all those who reflect.

For anyone who believes in providence and has a genuine need
it will in time be provided through faith and not based on greed.
This recalls to mind the words which a Great Person once said
before He was crucified and buried but later rose from the dead.

Ad Moodium

Tut! Moody, do not try to show
To gentlemen and ladies
That if they have not 'Faith,' they'll go
Headlong to Hades.

Faith is belief; and how can I
Have that by being willing?
This dime I cannot, though I try,
Believe a shilling.

Perhaps you can. If so, pray do-
Believe you own it, also.
But what seems evidence to you
I may not call so.

Heaven knows I'd like the Faith to think
This little vessel's contents
Are liquid gold. I see 'tis ink
For writing nonsense.

Minds prone to Faith, however, may
Come now and then to sorrow:
They put their trust in truth to-day,
In lies to-morrow.

No doubt the happiness is great
To think as one would wish to;
But not to swallow every bait,
As certain fish do.

To think a snake a cord, I hope,
Would bolden and delight me;
But some day I might think a rope
Would chase and bite me.

'Curst Reason! Faith forever blest!'
You're crying all the season.
Well, who decides that Faith is best?
Why, Mr. Reason.

He's right or wrong; he answers you
According to your folly,
And says what you have taught him to,
Like any polly.

Validation Of Truth

She assumes many things
that she believes to be fact

as she thinks
perceives
so must it be

an absolute
for her
there can be

no other possibilities
no exceptions
in her mood changing reality

she remains
at the centre
of her world

a belief system
based upon presumptions
without foundation

believed without
actual evidence
mere inference

conclusions drawn
without evidence
lacking reasoning

no logical process
applied reasoning
premise to conclusion

a reasoning process
lacking logic is
incapable of comprehension

validation to confirm establish truth
would be an ongoing redundant task

God Will Be Back

Between belief and non-belief
Battle the reason and faith
When one fails, the other takes over
Down on our knees, we surrender.
Faith in reason finds no reason in faith
An escaping belief in god's presence
All the testaments don't live up to the truth
When reason reigns, god makes no sense.
But then reasons can't bring solace
Rationality is hard and ruthless
When the fire brings tormenting pain
Reason flees and god soothes like rain.

Vengeance delayed storypoem

My country taught me how to kill
and when I had sufficient skill
I was recruited secretly
to serve a special agency.

My given task was to erase
any who opposed our ways
at home abroad where I was sent
To which I gave my free assent.

I slowly came to realise
I could not always recognise.
My target as an enemy.
Suspected they were using me

Though I had little evidence.
Some missions seemed to make no sense
I was expected to obey
my instructions come what may/

My duty was to do or die
I had no right to question why
There was no way I could resign
or else the next death would be mine.

I had known other colleagues die
quite frequently Now I knew why.
I was convinced my turn would come
Because a dead man will stay dumb.

I chose instead to disappear.
Create a new life far from here.
Although I killed for my country
I’m certain they will search for me.

They are afraid that if I chose
their dirty secrets to expose.
They have no means of stopping
me whilst I remain at liberty

They would much rather I was dead.
I have a price upon my head.
So I have planned accordingly
If they succeed in killing me.

My story will be given to
the press who will know what to do
.I’ll take revenge posthumously.
on liars who exploited me.
