In trials of fact, by oral testimony, the proper inquiry is not whether is it possible that the testimony may be false, but whether there is sufficient probability that it is true.

No testimony is sufficient to establish a miracle, unless the testimony be of such a kind, that its falsehood would be more miraculous than the fact which it endeavors to establish.

First off, we've had sworn testimony from soldiers and testimony before our staff that wasn't sworn, that said these alarms rarely went off, that they went off after the war in most cases and went off a lot.

There are, in the King case in particular, e names of confidential informants, persons to whom we promised confidentiality in return for their testimony. We have put their testimony in the public domain, but feel that their names should continue to be anonymous.

The Instructor
The instructor,
In front of me and in front of you!
But this is the testimony of your muse,
For the rains came in and washed your items away.
Read by all for all and,
Seen by all! !
And like a voice in the wilderness!
But revealed in the bosom is your sweet muse,
And like the testimony of your love in the land of joy!

Perished
The wweapons of war have perished!
And now the testimony lay bare;
But of a self-incriminating fact to blow the whistle,
And we are yet to account for the dead.

This poem is pregnant
with the black bloodshed of 1976.
This poem is constipated
with slavery of the poor.
This poem is the titanic of people’s hopes
sinking in the freezing ocean of democracy.
This poem is the enemy of the state,
‘cause, this poem bears testimony.
Don’t you know?
Verwoerd is black.
This poem is a hook that fishes
odd deeds buried behind black faces.
This poem is a mirror
that reflects odd unknown images
of stinking rich black men.
This poem is the voice of the angry dead.
This poem is a hammer to nail
in the brain of greedy politicians.
This poem is a database
of all black leaders.

Don’t you know?
Verwoerd is black.
This poem is for you
black man who spits
at the sight of a white man.
This poem is for you
white man who owns a savaged land
full of secret mass graves.
This poem is for you
black and white who hug and kiss
to please Madiba.
This poem is for you
the poor, who sing:
freedom has finally come.
This poem is for you, who know no truth,
‘cause, this poem bears testimony.
Don’t you know?
Verwoerd is black.
This poem is for you
my brother & sister who have lost taste
of your mother-tongue
in the multiracial Model C schools.
This poem is for you
black mama, who has configured her black being
‘cause black is barbaric.
This poem is the anger of hunger.
This poem is for the unemployed voters
who find solace in booze, sex & crime.

False Testimony
You shall not bear false testimony against your neighbour,
What causes hatred and wars?
The laws of Yahweh are Perfert,
Converting the whole person.
She belongs to your brother so,
Do not sleep with her;
The law is not only laid down for a righteous person,
But also for the unrighteous and for sinners.

From grace to grass
And so he fell
From hero's palace
to never ending hell
Rest your soul now
Because you're there to tell
Heaven is blessed
Because now they have the best
Hell is now damned
because they can feel your wrath
Rest your soul now beautiful one
because the bell has rang
Rest your soul now beautiful one
because it's time to fight
Rest your soul now beautiful one
because it's time for angel's smile
Rest your soul now beautiful one
because it's time for hell to cry
It's a testimony of what you can do
at the ringing of the bell
It's the testimony of what you can do
because you are the best.
