War is Boredom

War is Boredom

War is Boredom

War can be defined as long periods of boredom, short burst of terror, seemingly lasting forever, To those who are there, Waiting for another outburst, which never seems to cease.
You Pray, you count all your blessings, the outgoing not what you fear, its the incoming that can't be trusted.
War can be defined as boredom, for those who's life was spared, as the days in between that matters, on those who life spent there.

Am I a Heretic?

Abide with me fast falls the eventide.
My boredom deepens momentarily.
There must be more to life than the T.V
I sometimes watch but I choose carefully

The darkness deepens lord abide with me.
Boredom remains the ancient enemy
I have to choose so therefore I decide
Only to watch what I want to see.

When other helpers fail and comforts flee.
Then and only then do I watch T.V.
Most programmes offered don’t appeal to me
I can go without watching very easily.

Help of the helpless oh abide with me.
Books are my salvation as they ought to be
I have a collection of fine poetry
I can choose what suits my mood easily.

Miguel de Unamuno

There is no true love save in suffering, and in this world we have to choose either love, which is suffering, or happiness. Man is the more man - that is, the more divine - the greater his capacity for suffering, or rather, for anguish.

Boredom Is Death's Luxury

BOREDOM IS DEATH'S LUXURY

Boredom is Death's Luxury,
The idle wasting of an idle life.

What Chance do we have to dream
When inside all is
Empty and Ended
Lost?

Oh we will begin again somehow, somewhere else.

But today now inside
Is only this Nowhereness
This Endless Stillness
This Nothingness.

Boredom is the Horror of Everyday Life
I feel this now so deeply
as I write this.

Choose

I choose focus
I choose freedom
to be happy, to have fun
to have a wonderful life
to be young, light and bright
I choose health, wealth
lands, treasures
I choose to trust, love
commitment, faith,
I choose to enjoy life
I choose the lord
I choose...

Can I Get a Witness?

If people are not reading...
That does not mean,
A comprehension is not welcomed.

If they are not feeding,
From beliefs...
They too are qualified,
To allow thinking to be done!

And as this ignorance is toasted and spread...
By some who are fed,
They can only achieve by keeping suppression,
Dealt to those oppressed instead.
A lowered standard of life...
Lowers below that of a flower bed.
And an acceptance only blooms,
A stench to climb like vines on fences.
Getting the attention,
Of hard thickened heads!

'Some fools can't see,
Their outlooks can be foolish.
When they perceive,
Themselves kings and queens.
And when they become,
Stung by all their madnesss...
They choose to speed up,
Their own suffering! '

Let us sway with the rhythm.
In dimmed lighting, please.

'Some fools can't see,
Their outlooks can be foolish! '

That's right...
Lower the lights.

'When they perceive,
Themselves as kings and queens.'

Pass the crumbs to those humming.

'When they become,
Stung by all their madness.'

Can I get a witness?

'They choose to speed up,
Their own suffering! '

Boo hoo
Boo hoo
Boo
Hoo
Hoooooo.
Bah dah dah boo hoo...

'Some fools can't see,
Their outlooks can be foolish.'
Bah dah dah boo hoo...

'When they perceive,
Themselves kings and queens.'
Bah dah dah boo hoo...

'And when they become,
Stung by all their madnesss.'
Bah dah dah boo hoo...

'They choose to speed up,
Their own suffering! '

Comprehension...Or Torment

No one knows,
When we suffer.
Or how it is we suffer,
When suffering comes and is done...
By anyone

No one knows the extent of it.
How deep what is felt.
And when those sorrows visit to sit.

Although folks give advice and instructions.
With sections of pamphlets,
To read by professionals.
To emphasize their recommendations,
Underlined in 'red'.
Suggestions researched...
To read and ease our minds,
Before going to bed!
Hopefully not to stay awake...
To pace the floor instead.

No one knows,
When we suffer.
Or how it is we suffer,
When suffering comes and is done...
By anyone.

When suffering comes.
And alone it is done!

And listening to someone say to us to pray...
Is not a cure all or remedy,
That takes our suffering to numb quickly away.

But...
Pray we must,
And trust...
That those burdens carried,
Will be lifted up and away from us.
Knowing in our hearts...
God watches and will do His part!

No one knows,
When we suffer.
Or how it is we suffer,
When suffering comes and is done....
By anyone.

When suffering comes.
And alone it is done!
So it seems.

Only God knows how to heal and mend!
Only God knows when to send our sufferings away.

And many times with faith...
God intervenes.
Before the suffering has had a chance,
To arrive on the scene.
Depending on what it is we wish to choose.
Comprehension...
Or torment,
With unquestioned agony!

Sonnet: Choose The Things in Your Life

0 choose your friend who must be good as you;
And choose your spouse better than you; make sure;
And choose the one best as your Teacher too;
And choose ambitions that suit your nature.

0 choose the profession thats truly best;
And choose the hobbies that ne'er interfere;
And choose your Time to begin work, take rest;
And choose your enemies, you surely fear.

0 choose your food that gives extended health;
And choose your garments -comfortable wear;
And choose the honest way to added wealth;
And choose the burden right, body can bear.

0 choose the people who deserve help most;
And choose good principles, yet never boast.

Life is a short journey.

Life is a short journey
It may be bitter
It may be honey
Life is a short journey
Choose your way
Choose your mate
You won't be early
You won't be late
Our ways may differ
But our end is there
Go by car or by train
Go on foot or by plane
Go on horseback or by rocket
Go by bike or by boat
Life is a short journey
All of us will be on time
All of us will be the same
All of us will have a luggage
Choose what to leave
Choose what to take
Choose what to build
Choose what to break
Life is a short journey
Whether you like it
Or you don't
You try to change it
But you can't
Life is a short journey.

Sweet So I Can Have Peace

I feel terrible, the story I'm reading keeps me in suspense
because it does not make any sense, the unhappiness of
the characters suffering terrible passion and despair gives
me a headache, I don't believe anyone could be so upset
without falling ill; authors always give their characters too
much to bear, I cannot imagine so much intrigue in reality
without complete physical collapse

I make things charming and sweet so I can have peace yet
still take note of what others do to break the boredom of an
ideal existence, too much safety is just as bad as too much
pain, though I am fanatically opposed to suffering, the result
is that we are enriched by the wisdom it brings and the new
perspective that grows out of it makes me see the interesting
world in a different way, variety is

The spice of life - for me - in any case…

Choose To Fly

Choose to fly!
Choose to soar...
Above the clouds,
And touch the sky.
Choose to spread your wings.
And with praises choose to sing...
To end limitations.
And what to you those limits bring.
Choose to fly.
Energize with the Sun.
Have fun.
Begin what is wished.
Do not undo that which has begun.
Choose to fly.
Look up.
Around and down!
Can accustomed conflict mixed with confusion...
Be heard from anyone?
Can it be found?
As you lift your disconnectedness,
Higher off the ground?
Can you feel a peace?
As you release...
From tensions that decrease.
Choose to fly.
Let go of that madness...
Grabbing to entrap.
To have you slapped with unhappiness.
Choose to fly.
Declare your fresh air...
Is absent of dispair.
And all boundaries have cleared for your arrival.
Choose to fly!
Choose to soar...
Above the clouds,
And touch the sky.
Let go...
And take hold of the atmosphere there.
Choose to fly.
Choose to soar.
Choose to live the life you adore,
Even more!
Choose to fly.
And break free to live your dreams.

I Believe So...

does the wind choose to blow?
do rivers choose to run?
does your heart choose to beat?
i believe so...

does the earth choose to turn,
in perfect rhythm, year by year?
do the tides choose to come and go,
in cadence with the moon?
i believe so...

does society choose to be oppressed,
if only by apathy's inaction?
do we choose to let people starve
when we turn the other head?
i believe so...

do we choose war over peace,
to feed the need of greed?
do we choose to destroy nature
by our very lifestyles?
i believe so....

but can we change destiny,
and avert the final blow?
can we open our minds and hearts,
and reclaim life for the living?
i believe so...

In Memory Of The Unknown Poet, Robert Boardman Vaughn

But the essential advantage for a poet is not, to have a beautiful world with which to deal: it is to be able to see beneath both beauty and ugliness; to see the boredom, and the horror, and the glory.
T. S. ELIOT

It was his story. It would always be his story.
It followed him; it overtook him finally—
The boredom, and the horror, and the glory.

Probably at the end he was not yet sorry,
Even as the boots were brutalizing him in the alley.
It was his story. It would always be his story,

Blown on a blue horn, full of sound and fury,
But signifying, O signifying magnificently
The boredom, and the horror, and the glory.

I picture the snow as falling without hurry
To cover the cobbles and the toppled ashcans completely.
It was his story. It would always be his story.

Lately he had wandered between St. Mark’s Place and the Bowery,
Already half a spirit, mumbling and muttering sadly.
O the boredom, and the horror, and the glory.

All done now. But I remember the fiery
Hypnotic eye and the raised voice blazing with poetry.
It was his story and would always be his story—
The boredom, and the horror, and the glory.

Suffering

I heard about your happiness
And all the plans that youre involved in
Since youre gone youd be impressed
To know i, too, have been evolving
But I dont think you comprehend
Ive been suffering
Yeah, Ive been suffering
Guess Ill be suffering up around the bend
This love is a cancer in me
I can feel it advancing in me
This fire it is my light in the world
Well, I found me a new friend
Ive been suffering
Yeah, Ive been suffering
Guess Ill be suffering up around the bend
I hung around in a leather bar
They threw me on the cement
Slept all night in my plastic car
Got in an accident
I brushed by you in the supermart
And I had me a touch of whats real
It was real when you crushed me with your steel
Black clouds roll through my mind
Who says anyway these halls are sovereign?
I am a hater of the human kind
So keep away, this hearts not softening
No, I dont think that its the end of this suffering
Yeah, Ive been suffering
Ive been suffering
Ive been suffering
And Ill be suffering up around the bend

My life

First rays of my thought,
Falls on you
Into the darkness of
My lonely blue
Nomad, I became with,
O! My thought, my herds,
Flew, blew, brew
Like water, air and birds,
Lo! Life is no less than a loo,
Into the casino of my dancing rue.
What disease suffering with
Thou my fate, you the sprue
I couldn't sue,
I couldn't woo.
Hope, my heart is being cleaned
Every day with the morning dew
I am on the way
Walked by lonely few
O Cage Keeper!
Thou shall not bring the freedom
Into the life of boredom,
I am willing to,
Unveil the curtain that drew//

We Live In The World We Build

You can choose from the crops of unhappiness…
or you can unearth the joy from your heart.

You can choose to draw from your dark stormy life…
or believe that only rainbow's beauty follows rain.

You can choose to pollute the air you breathe…
or do no harm to the environs of human or all life form.

You can choose to produce foods by man’s means …
or allow it to be produced by nature’s teams.

You can choose to live in jealousy and hate or
live with love and you won’t have none of the above.

You can choose to make war
or you can make love instead...

You can choose to pluck the thorns…
or pick red, yellow, and pink roses, instead.

You deserve your world that
built brick by brick.
