You may think me crude, and probably I am crude, but I am not so crude as I was, for I am clever enough to see that the girl of nineteen who thought herself a genius was only an unusual girl writing her heart out.

Did It Again
Written: kylie minogue/ steve anderson/ david seaman
Clever girl
Think you are but you think too much
Shut down turn around
Dont look that way any more
Clever girl
Think you know but you dont know much
Try to make a move
Go to a different door
You know its all in your head
You better put that business to bed
By your fair hands of design you met with
The monster in your mind
You did it again
You did it again
Wont you listen to me when Im telling you its no good for you
Clever girl
Think youre right
But whats right from wrong?
Little miss genius
You make it hard on yourself
Clever girl
Youve got it all but youre all messed up
Time now turn around
Move onto something else
You know its all in your head
Youd better put that business to bed
What you see nobody sees
It only brings you to your knees
Clever girl
Think youre right
But whats right from wrong?
Little miss genius
You make it hard on yourself

Marie (unattainable love)
When I wake up in the morning my first thought is of Marie,
She’s the girl I think of all the time, she’s the girl I want for me.
Her smile is so inviting, her eyes of full of glee,
She’s the girl I think of all the time, she’s the girl I want for me.
Because she is so beautiful, I love her tenderly,
She’s the girl I think of all the time, she’s the girl I want for me.
Though she is so far from me, so far across the sea,
She’s the girl I think of all the time, she’s the girl I want for me.
At times I raise my head in prayer, Oh Lord please hear my plea,
She’s the girl I want to be with, she’s the girl I want for me.
My heart’s in Indiana, where the rest of me should be,
With the girl I think of all the time, with the girl I want for me.
And though I’ve never met her, to my heart she has the key,
She’s the girl I think of all the time, she’s the girl I want for me.
And in my dreams she whispers that she’ll never set me free,
But she’s the girl I think of all the time, she’s the girl I want for me.
It really breaks my heart in two that my dream may never be,
With the girl I think of all the time, with the girl I want for me.
And when I close my eyes at night, my last thought is of Marie,
Of the girl I think of all the time, of the girl I want for me

High and Pride
Her black face walks the crowded hall
The sea parts, only to have her fall
But she stands again, proud and tall
No one can break this wall
Racism don’t phase her
Whispers? Brushed off her shoulder
Those crude remarks just make her stronger
This girl’s a fighter
She carries herself with grace
Never lets herself feel out of place
Pride, shines across her face
Pride towards her race
Who are they to judge?
It’s their ancestors that hold the grudge
Against her skin like chocolate fudge
But this girl won’t budge
Her eyes stay dry
She never feels the need to cry
Although people do try
To break her down, but why?
She’s always been a girl so silent
It’s not like she’s violent
Nor is she defiant
Yet not overly compliant
She’s just searching for peace
Searching for an increase
In the level of ease
That everyone tries to seize

Yours Is Too Crude
i felt the surface
yours is crude, too superficial
but i do not mind
i keep touching it and slide
my hands around
the edges of your thing
and then i reflect upon
what i have been doing
yes, yours is more like mine
crude, superficial
straightforward, and
flowing
soft like sky blue linens
and cheap for the mindless public
but we continue doing it
day by day
truly, sincerely, and
therapeutically
what we do
does not kill us anyway
in any way
we have found expression
in words
and pity (and love perhaps?)
yet look at us
we do not appear as beggars
wearing dark glasses
and holding a tin can on our hands
we are here
to speak but i guess
we never beg
for ears
we have legs to stand
throughout this agony
and then the children
come around us
wondering if we are humans
confused if they too shall be like us
everyday we keep repeating
what we are
and then the world knows
but keeps on spinning
the morning light still lands
on the lines of our open palms

A Girl Like You
How did I get a girl like you?
A girl that's smart, pretty, and true.
A girl that I can hold tight.
A girl that is ''just right''.
A girl that can make my sun rise,
And my sun set.
A girl that is nice and wise.
A girl that I will never forget.
A girl that I can hold for hours.
A girl that I can love forever.
A girl that doesn't need any flowers.
A girl that is very smart and clever.
A girl that goes by the name 'insert'.
A girl that I love so much.
A girl that I will always keep in my soul.
A girl that can make my day with just a single touch.

Sheer Egoism at Ramasola
Who else would not love his own image?
Even the crude Narcissius loved himself
in a pool of water.
We feed and worship our image
from the crude shadows in the still waters
to the bright reflections of the silver mirrors
and to the wise manipulations over the lenses
of the camera men.
We pose and change suits
giggle at the transfer of life
into the shiny papers and borrowed colors,
tailor our dead sizes,
enlarge these still-pictures
in frames and hang them on walls.
We pay the high cost of joy
of our tailored image
stamped on papers and tucked on wood,
kissed by glasses and adhesives.
And never will the price alter
the rising and ebbing tide
of the ego`s worship
to our own human form.

Get Out!
I suppose you think you're clever,
You laugh at me but you never
Imagine what I really feel,
You think it's no big deal
I may be suicidal, I may
Be looking for some other way
To put an end to this misery,
To break away and at last be free!
Why should ypu care? I realise
When I look into your empty eyes
That love has vanished from the scene,
It's just as if it had never been.
You say we can try again,
Don't you care about my pain?
I thought we'd last forever
And yet you found some other lover,
Someone you 'fancied' more than me.
I hate your crude hypocrisy,
Just get out of my life,
I never wanted to be your wife!
I've better things to do
Than waste my days and nights with you!
Go on, get out!
Do I have to start to scream and shout?
It's over now,
And this isn't just another row,
GET OUT!

I wanna a girl..!
I wanna a girl,
A girl with Brave Heart,
A girl with an Winning Smile,
A girl who will make me laugh,
A girl who is beautiful,
A girl who is Kind And Strong.
I wanna A girl, A good one,
A girl who don't struts,
A girl who don't fuss,
A girl who's not a bling - bling,
A girl who will stand with me
A girl who will make my Heart Race
I wanna a girl,
A girl who is something special,
A girl who is loving,
A girl with great patience,
A girl I would be lucky to know,
A girl you'd dream About.
I wanna a girl,
A girl who will be my Kryptonite,
I want a girl I'd fight for,
A girl who makes me think,
A girl who feeds me,
A girl who will look After me,
A girl I'd write poetry for.

My 3AM Wake Up Call
You’re a 3AM
Wake up call
With another sob story
About the latest boy
Who pumped you
Then dumped you
And left you
In a sweaty lonely pile
Upon another
Empty bed
And you cry
Baby girl tears
All over my phone
And you wonder why handsome
Boys
With shining white teeth
With full heads of curly black hair
With six-pack stomachs
And tight muscular
Rear ends
Can not be more like
Mature
Older
Men
“Just like you, ”
Baby girl says
“Just like you.”
And you cry
Baby girl tears
All over my phone
And you wonder why reckless
Boys
Who party all night
Who down countless vodka shots
Who shout “muthafukka, ” “dude, ” 'beotch, '
And other raucous
Victory chants
Can not be more like
Mature
Older
Men
“Just like you, ”
Baby girl says
“Just like you.”
You want me to empathize
You want me to criticize
The nasty boys
Who took you for another
Cruel and pointless ride
You want me to father you
In a way he never did
But I’m sorry
Baby girl
I’m sorry
I can’t
Because I admire and envy those
Boys
In the prime of their life
Not yet defeated
Not yet haunted
Not yet beaten
By the disappointments that
Await
They are a national treasure
A precious resource
From the exuberant crude shouts of
Irrational wild boys
Come the builders of shelter
The providers of sustenance
The conquerors of enemies
The explorers of frontiers
From the exuberant crude shouts of
Irrational boys
Come the daring adventurers
The first one into the burning house
The last one out of the burning house
The one still standing when everybody else
Fled
From the insatiable loins of such
Irrational wild boys
Come the fierce wild girls
Who dance insanely upon tables
Who run naked through the streets
Who make love without limits
In open fields
Upon damp grass
All through the night
From the insatiable loins of such
Irrational wild boys
Come the fierce wild girls
Who cat-fight for their lover
Who kill for their children
Who wail passionately for their dead
From such boys
Baby girl
From such boys
You were born into the world
My crazy baby girl
You were born into the world
Like father, like daughter
And if I could be that young wild boy
Again
The one that you hate
And love
In such a maniacal way
It would be an honor to be with you
An honor to hold you
An honor to love you
Until my dying day.

Waning Life (Terzenella)
When you opened your eyes you found you’re old!
Your dreams remained unfulfilled, thoughts still crude;
Wizened, your hands are quivering with cold! !
Not long before you were in sprightly mood.
You thought of wading through the oceans blue.
Your dreams remained unfulfilled, thoughts still crude.
Of life and death you thought of finding clues!
To end the wars and find the peace, you mused! !
You thought of wading through the oceans blue! ! !
Now mind is creased; imagery is bruised;
Your pen is blunt and papers turned brittle!
To end the wars and find the peace, you mused! !
You churned and creamed the life, but too little!
When you opened your eyes you found you’re old! !
Your pen is blunt and papers turned brittle;
Wizened, your hands are quivering with cold! ! !

Just One
(this is crude reiteration of your poem titled)
one
like you i only have one brain
but i have many thoughts
i only have one body
but i have many parts
i only have only one heart
but i am loving so many
i only have one soul
but it is looking up to
the sky seeking all the
stars in the heavens

What defines you...
What you do certainly defines does you
You are thought of by others
Due to the actions
Of what you say and also do
Evil and crude seeds of behavior
Somehow grow, and return back
Unto you.
So, remember to
Do unto others
as you would desire
Someone to do unto you
For there is always a pair of eyes
Somewhere, somehow observing you
Therefore, unto thyself
One should always be true

Getting To Know The Faces Of Failures
at first they come like harsh
beasts of the cavemen variety
crude to your feelings
and you want to dismiss them
and even kill them in one explosion
but they don't leave
and they do not die at your option
and your own terms and
conditions
for they are like acrobats and
bats and cyclops
they know very well how to evade
your manner of attacking them
for you are too crude enough
in your manners of dealing with each of them
you get attuned to their faces and bodies and shapes
and strategies and skills
after a long, long time
they too learn from you and the next time that they
knock on your door
they look like perfect gentlemen
with coat and tie
and shining branded shoes
equipped with the latest technologies of
communication
but you do not get outdone
you evolve too
this time you are a well positioned high-rise executive
witty, subtle, and from so many failures that you meet
you become the new consultant of their disappointments
possessing a very strong self-esteem,
tough, and smart and when they come for an appointment
with you
you tell them: 'welcome, please be seated gentlemen
this is your new office now! '

Who Will Cry For The Little Girl?
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that sleeps
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that weeps
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that will soon be grown
Who will cry for the little
the little girl who can't make it on her own
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl who sits and stands
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl who watches life in her hands
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that gives
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that lives
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl that sleeps
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl inside of me
Who will cry for the little girl
the little girl who used to be ME! !
