I think in my own country, at the way we've seen through the ordination of women to the priesthood, which I'm delighted about, and that will move on to another level before very long.

Country Woman
Country women now, what you gonna do with your life
Country women now, why dont you get out of this life
Leave my life alone
The first time I met you I knew you were the devils daughter
You came on like a river , doin all the things you oughta
Youre a self made women ,baby, not a made-to-order
If you had your way , I know youd make me stay

At the end of four years' time, at graduation, we were down to 12. At our reunion that we had several years ago, only 1 out of the 52 actually made it to ordination and priesthood. So there you go, there's your numbers.

So I was very close to ordination. I was delighted to be ordained a deacon, which is the last step between, before becoming a priest. But then it all fell apart.

Over The Hills And Far Away
A LITTLE bird flew my window by,
'Twixt the level street and the level sky,
The level rows of houses tall,
The long low sun on the level wall;
And all that the little bird did say
Was, 'Over the hills and far away.'
A little bird sang behind my chair,
From the level line of corn-fields fair,
The smooth green hedgerow's level bound
Not a furlong off--the horizon's bound,
And the level lawn where the sun all day
Burns:--'Over the hills and far away.'
A little bird sings above my bed,
And I know if I could but lift my head
I would see the sun set, round and grand,
Upon level sea and level sand,
While beyond the misty distance gray
Is 'Over the hills and far away.'
I think that a little bird will sing
Over a grassy mound, next spring,
Where something that once was me, ye'll leave
In the level sunshine, morn and eve:
But I shall be gone, past night, past day,
Over the hills and far away.

Movin' To The Country
I'm gonna get myself out of this city
I'm gonna get myself out of this city
Gonna get myself out of this city
Cause livin' here is just a pity
I'm gonna get myself out of this city
I'm gonna breathe myself clean country air
I'm gonna breathe myself clean country air
Gonna breathe myself clean country air
In the city, they aint no air there
I'm gonna breathe myself clean country air
I'm gonna get myself a jug of moonshine
I'm gonna get myself a jug of moonshine
Gonna get myself that jug a shine
And I'm gonna have a real good time
I'm gonna get myself a jug of moonshine
I'm gonna get myself some country women
I'm gonna get myself some country women
Gonna get myself some country women
Baby, that's what I call livin'
I'm gonna get myself some country women
Yeah, I'm movin' to the country

If women are supposed to be less rational and more emotional at the beginning of our menstrual cycle when the female hormone is at its lowest level, then why isn't it logical to say that, in those few days, women behave the most like the way men behave all month long?

Chained Chained Women In The 'Land Of The Free
can you feel the jealousy emanating from the other first world countries
whose women watch the US government insist upon
no universal healthcare,
making its own citizens eternal slaves to HMO's & big pharma
&
if that wasn't bad enough,
they watch the religious tyrants beating their 'holy books, '
continuing
to feel as if it is ok to
deprive citizens of contraceptive coverage in the
health care packages being provided by employers across the country?
um,
this writer has a hard time doing so…for the record.
how long will this so-called 'democracy' make the women within its borders
suffer?
how long will the crazy crazy christians insist on
trying to keep women in a little cage where they cannot determine what happens to their own bodies?
as long as women are not allowed to gain access to contraception freely & easily,
they have to walk through a gauntlet of unnecessary bullshit
every time life decides to impede their progress by
throwing an unwanted pregnancy in the way of the struggle to get to where they want to be-
if they cannot climb the ladder,
they cannot achieve the financial status that would allow them to raise these kids in the
first place-
politicians,
who pretend to have religious affiliations so that they can get more sheep to
baaaaaaaaaaaa to the sound of their specific drum come november,
need to understand that there are more women in this country than men
&
this country is already overpopulated as it is-
why not better the lives of the women who are already here,
alive & trying?

I don't see women and think of them as competition or with judgment. Women really move me. I feel connected to all kinds of women. I am angry because I think we've been mistreated throughout history in different countries, including America. I admire women.

Situation
Blue I dress for every situation
Moving through the doorway of the nation
Pick me up and shake me down
Baby I can't do without
Move out
Don't mess around
Move out
You bring me down
Move out
Forget about don't make a sound
Just move out
I remember only for an hour
Moving right through me can you feel the power
I don't know what's going on
It's getting me but it won't be long
Move out
Don't mess around
Move out
You bring me down
Move out
Forget about don't make a sound
Just move out
Move out
Don't mess around
Move out
You bring me down
Move out
Forget about don't make a sound
Just move out
Move out
Don't mess around
Move out
You bring me down
Move out
Forget about don't make a sound
Just move out
Now he's in control he is your lover
Nation stands against him he's your brother
Been a long time, been a long time
Now I've got to give somehow
Move out
Don't mess around
Move out
You bring me down
Move out
Forget about don't make a sound
Just move out

Can't Go On
How can it be easy to forget you when I think about you all the time
I never know how I miss you when I never had you, well nevermind
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on
It'd be cool if we never met, if we never locked eyes
Then I'd feel so happy, not knowing you're so fine
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on
I get so nuts when I'm around you there's nothing I can say
I wish you'd get outta my head, I think about you every day
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on without...
ROCK!
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on, can't move on, without... you

Queen And Country
The wind is on the river and the tide has turned too late,
So we're sailing for another shore where some other ladies wait
To throw us silken whispers: catch us by the anchor chains -
But we all laugh so politely and we sail on just the same
For Queen and Country in the long dying day.
And it's been this way for five long years since we signed our souls away.
We bring back gold and ivory; rings of diamonds; strings of pearls -
Make presents to the government so they can have their social whirl
With Queen and Country in the long dying day.
And it's been this way for five long years since we signed our souls away.
For Queen and Country in the long dying day.
And it's been this way for five long years since we signed our souls away.
They build schools and they build factories
With the spoils of battles won.
And we remain their pretty sailor boys - hold our heads up to the gun
Of Queen and Country in the long dying day.
And it's been this way for five long years since we signed our souls away.
To Queen and Country in the long dying day.
And it's been this way for five long years since we signed our souls away.
To Queen and Country in the long dying day.
And it's been this way for five long years since we signed our souls away

Country Road
Goin down that country road,
Leavin behind that heavy load.
Gettin away from the city life,
Society causes too many fights.
Chorus
Down my country road.
Down my country road, oh.
Down my country road.
Down my country road, road, road.
Too much killin and too many wars,
Women and children must be shuttin their doors.
Protect your country and for this you must die,
They take your life but they dont tell you why.

Power to the Women of the World
Power to the women of the world
Women with W for winners
Women with O for Order
Women with M for Movement and mothers of hope
Women with E for energy, everywhere, every time
Women with N for Necessity
Women of the world
Our struggle needs your attention
Our struggle needs your support
Your children in on earth have no future
Your children in in the wolrd will die, if you sit
Your children in in the world are dying
Your husbands are culturally polluted and they are dying
Your pots are blown by light air
Your fire have burned months ago
Your future is no more
But this is your time
Your time to rise Women of the world
