I grew up years ago doing something that unfortunately doesn't hardly exist any more, a medium called Radio.

The Ant
A sixty feet long ant
With a hat on its head,
That doesn’t exist, that doesn’t exist.
An ant pulling a cart
Full of penguins and ducks
That doesn’t exist, that doesn’t exist.
An ant speaking French,
Speaking Latin and Javanese,
That doesn’t exist, that doesn’t exist.

I probably worked every single entertainment medium, including some that don't exist. I worked the circus, carnival, I had my own medicine show, I worked 18 years of radio.
Radio is not a partner in the industry. I think that the music industry has continued to depend upon radio, but has ended up pandering to a medium that doesn't care.
Medium
Medium, medium.
Waking up I smell the scent of coffee on the brew,
And I think about the amount of the sweet,
Id like to have in my cup today.
One for the two lump, three lump, four.
No half of one, no less no more.
Just give me a chance, let me make it mine.
Id like a medium blend of that piece of pie.
Not too bitter, not too sweet... medium.
Just enough to ? ? ? ... medium.
Not too bitter, not too sweet... medium.
Just enough to ? ? ? ... medium.
Dinner time just rolls around,
And I think I crave a steak but,
Im not too partial to the meat,
When its cooked too long and Im made to wait.
Not too much of the parsony,
And just enough of the spice.
I think Id enjoy a medium-rare dish with a side of fries.
Not too tender, not too tough... medium.
Not too little, just enough... medium.
Not too tender, not too tough... medium.
Not too little, just enough... medium.
Medium. medium. medium. medium. just a medium. medium.
? ? ? and I smell the pits but ? ? ? ? ? .
I couldve sworn a ? ? ? last week and scrubbed like ? ? ? .
I like to stink just a little bit,
Just to keep you on your toes yes.
The more I stink the more I think,
That you smell like a rose.
Not too pleasant, not too bad... medium.
Just enough to hold my ? ? ? ... medium.
Not too pleasant, not too bad... medium.
Just enough to hold my ? ? ? ... medium.
Medium. medium. medium. medium. medium. medium.

With the coming of radio as a mass medium, suddenly the world changed. It became about, 'can this leader project emotional connection through the way he speaks on the radio?' And the anxiety about whether he could do that, we've inherited.

You Can't Make What Doesn't Work
You can't make what doesn't work,
For me exist.
If it is clear to me,
My life's just fine without it.
I want to say that,
You can't make what doesn't work...
For me exist.
When my happiness,
Doesn't depend on it.
I have my own beliefs,
That satisifies my every need.
The memories that I keep,
Reminds me how I stood...
Up on my own two feet.
No you can't make what doesn't work,
For me exist.
If with a faith I took risks,
And decided that my own life I would live.
I have my own beliefs,
That satisifies my every need.
The memories that I keep,
Reminds me how I got to stand up..
On my own two feet.
Oh...
You can't make what doesn't work,
For me exist.
If it is clear to me,
My life's just fine without it.
So, if it doesn't work for you,
Why do you wish to prove...
What it is that I do,
Is a waste of effort.
So, if it doesn't work for you,
Why do you wish to prove...
What it is that I do,
Is to me a disservice.
You can't make what doesn't work,
For me exist.
If it is clear to me,
My life's just fine without it.

It doesn't really exist; it's just basically lots of different stages between the two pieces, and you end up with, like, a third shape that doesn't exist but is suggested to you by the image.

Melancholy snipers
Well become
Flower gun users
We request
Funeral of sadness
We play
The shade destroyers

Radio Ga Ga
Words and music by roger taylor
Radio Id sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And evrything I had to know
I heard it on my radio
You gave them all those old time stars
Through wars of worlds - invaded by mars
You made em laugh - you made em cry
You made us feel like we could fly
Radio
So dont become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just dont know or just dont care
And just complain when youre not there
You had your time you had the power
Youve yet to have your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio whats new?
Radio someone still loves you
We watch the shows - we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years
Lets hope you never leave old friend
Like all good things on you we depend
So stick around cos we might miss you
When we grow tired of all this visual
You had your time you had the power
Youve yet to have your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga

Inner Radio
A girl, in this world
She's all alone, her friends they all turn
their backs at her
Walkin' down her hometown streets
With headphones playin' some oldskool beats
Her baggy pants, crazy hair
She's called a "freak" and thet's not fair
The other day she pierced her nose
But anyway...
Ref:
They don't understand
Thet she prefers it her own way
Different from the rest
Doesn't care what people say
Not dressing to impress
But tryin' to follow her own heart
You listen to its sound
Turn on your inner radio
So go, don't say "no"
To what you feel is right for you
And just like that girl in her world
Is feelin' free and happy
What you got to do is:
Break the rules, don't waste your time
Get a tattoo
And remember that whatever you do
Just be yourself
'Cos anyway...

Radio Romance
(john duarte/mark paul)
I see you baby
Every single day
Holding on to my best friend
But you dont see me
So I make the same request now
Every single night
Going out from me to you
On the dedication line
I wonder if youre listening
To the words that keep me wishing
That one day Ill be kissing you
Wo wo wo

My secret admiration

He even knows my choice now
He never says my name
He just says from the one
Who loves you baby

One night youll hear a song
And then youll know just who its from

Bleeding On The Radio
Bleeding on the radio
I see the feeling flashing and eye
Awake the frequency of your life
Put back what you take
Make up what you break
Or watch the tv burn the sky
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Dont you ever take it
No
Now im bleeding on the radio
I need a vision to run away
From htis world we live in today
Put back what you take
Make up what you break
Or watch the tv burn the sky
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Dont you ever take it
No
Now im bleeding on the radio
Pull the lever
Fight forever
Dynamite a hole in the sky
Humming on you
Comming on through
Over in the flash of an eye
Dont you ever close your eyes
Coz it gets you every time
Waking up to make a sign
On the Radio Yeah
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Dont you speak your mind
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radioooooo
The radio
Bleeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio
Bleeeeeeding on the radio

I started radio in 1950 on the Lone Ranger radio program, a dramatic show that emanated from Detroit when I was 18 years old and just beginning college. I did that for a couple of years.

Identity Crisis!
When born, I was called “baby”
And later they called me “Abby”
Within 5 years they called me “student”
And for 7 years, like that I spent
Then they called me “teen”
I loved it and felt like a queen
Then I was called “woman”
And those times, were the best
Then some one tied a knot and called me “wife”
I hated those times, it was horrible and gross
In years I became “mother”
It was beautiful but tough
Then being called “grandma”
My times got better and better
Then at last I was called “old”
And my body was frail and cold
All this time I wondered,
Where my identity has gone
Some where in the middle, I had lost it
Through the ages, I had a crisis
An identity crisis to say!

Time does not exist
time does not exist
we made it up...
imagine you ask someone
for the time and the
reply 'time is a fabrication of
the mind to cope with change.'
you'd think them to
be strange.
but the more you think about it
the more sense it makes.
time does not exist
when you finally comprehend it
everything else becomes a lie,
science will make no sense
history will not be in the past
time does not exist
what else doesn't exist...?

Radio Ga Ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio - what's new
Radio - someone still loves you
1984 - a long time ago
When I heard it first time on the radio
Radio ga ga was the name of that song
Now I'm back with the track and I feel so strong
1996 - the remix is done
First time ever since the story begun
One of my favorites in the music scene
Here is the voice, the voice of Queen
I'd sit alone and watch your light
My only friend through teenage nights
And everything I had to know I heard it on my radio
So don't become some background noise
A backdrop for the girls and boys
Who just don't know or just don't care
And just complain when you're not there
You had your time, you had the power
You've yet to have your finest hour
Radio
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio - what's new
Radio - someone still loves you
If you want to listen to the music of today
Turn on the radio and let it play
Play it loud without no doubt
Queen and BoBo is what I'm talking all about
About a beat that spins you around
Get up stand up move to the sound
With the rhythm and the rhymes let the music flow
Everybody everywhere listen to the radio
We watch the the shows - we watch the stars
On videos for hours and hours
We hardly need to use our ears
How music changes through the years.
Let's hope you never leave old friend
Like all good things on you we depend
So stick around cause we might miss you
