Try to put well in practice what you already know. In so doing, you will, in good time, discover the hidden things you now inquire about.

Practice Every Step
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no sleeping for someone who has a place to go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Focus on that goal,
And tighten on your hold,
And...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Do not second guess what it takes.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Every journey taken,
Must be thought of as a race...
And,
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
There's no other way to straighten out a crooked road,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
No matter what you're told,
There will be some doubts and woes...
But you,
Practice every step.
Yes you,
Practice every step.
Woes you hold will eventually go,
So...
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.
Practice every step.

And I came away from that experience, and it was a very difficult experience - I came to understand that you have to practice at being a good father and practice at being a good husband, just as you have to practice at being a good journalist.

Hidden Talent
Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Just like a person from another world
My eyes can see inside you, little girl
I see things that you dont want to see
I see things youre trying to hide from me
Im just trying to make you understand
All the ways you can affect this man
From the moment that you came in touch
With the power there to burn so much
Youve got hidden talent (yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
You know your past is whats been bugging you
If youre ready girl ... do what you gotta do
Look for your life between the lines
Bad directions and poor designs
Youve got hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out you ... got it, hidden talent, oh
With the advantage of perspective i
See theres more to you than meets the eye
But now the time must come to spread your wings and fly
Yeah (hidden talent) yeah
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Check it out ... you got it, hidden talent, oh
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
Affair without warning
Hidden talent, mmm (mmm)
Hidden talent (hidden talent, yeah)
I bet youre gonna find some hidden talent, oh
(fade)

Now Is A Good Time
Now is a time to say to someone I love you
When you see him or she
Now is a good time to celebrate who you were born to be
Now is the good time to say forgiveness to someone that you hurt in the past and move on with your life
Now is a good time to put money for your retirement away
So you can have a pension
Now it is a good time to learn to love yourself
Now it is a good time to discover what you love to do
Now it is a good time to worship God
Now it is a good time to pray for the people of the world
Now it is a good time to lend a hand in the community
Now it is a good time to write your feelings in your note book
Now it is a good time to plant the seeds in the garden so that they Come up during the summer
Now it is a good time to celebrate life

I know you've heard it a thousand times before. But it's true - hard work pays off. If you want to be good, you have to practice, practice, practice. If you don't love something, then don't do it.

Get Your Spirit Right
Practice.
Active,
Prayer...
Everyday,
You can!
Be active in the practice,
Of prayer...
Everyday.
You can!
Care less about the he said,
Or she said...
Conflicting pickers of fights.
They'll keep you awake with sleepless nights.
Be true to your practice,
In active...
Prayer,
Everyday.
You can!
Erratic tactics,
Keep captive...
With distractions,
To minimize your pride.
Don't worry about their appetites...
For doing things the wrong way.
You stay on the side of what's right,
Now!
Practice.
Active,
Prayer...
Everyday,
You can!
Be active in the practice,
With swift actions of your prayers...
Everyday.
You can!
Get your spirit right!
Let backbiters do what they do.
You can choose not to approve!
Just keep your practice,
Active...
In prayer,
Everyday.
You can!
Don't worry about their appetites...
For doing things the wrong way.
You stay on the side of what's right,
Now!
Practice.
Active,
Prayer...
Everyday,
You can!

You've Got It Bad Girl
When you believe in a feeling,
And it's holding you back from my love,
Then you've got it bad girl, you've got it bad girl.
When you insist on excluding
The tenderness that's in my kiss,
Then you've got it bad girl, you've got it bad girl.
If you try to display an emotion,
That will contradict itself,
You will find your heart just sitting
Like a statue on a shelf, on a shelf, on a shelf.
Should you depend on an outlet,
Through which an escape can be found,
Then you've got it bad girl, you've got it bad girl.
If you don't see there's no way out,
Just no way of getting around me,
Then you've got it bad girl, you've got it bad girl.
Yes, you know the plans i am making,
Are intended to capture you,
So you practice false reactions,
To delay the things i do, the things i do,
Things i do, foolish you.
You've got it bad girl, you've got it bad.
There's no reward in detouring
My deep sincerity.
Especially since what you're feeling,
Is perfectly clear to me, clear to me, clear to me.
Before you discover the feeling,
You've tried very hard to hide,
You've got it bad girl, you've got it bad girl.
But when you can find just a small space,
To let my love live in your mind,
Then you'll have it good girl, you'll have it good girl.

World's Slope
Try to solve the mystery
Go through world's history
And discover the clue
That's hidden in queue
And try to find the reply
And answers of the WHY
That come as to us in hope
Slipping through world's slope
And know that it is true
And hard to find the hue
That's hidden in an hour
That show us day's power
And tell us how to survive
In each moment of life
And now to discover clue
That is hidden in queue
Go through world's history
To solve this world's mystery.

We had to do a lot of rehearsals to get it so that it was playable. What it did was make you practice. That's good for any musician to have that kind of pressure. It brings things out of you that might not come out if you don't have to reach for something all the time.
One Night At A Time
Im not yours and baby youre not mine
Weve got somethin and it sure is fine
Lets take our love one night at a time
Theres one thing that we both agree
I like you and baby you like me
Lets take our love one night at a time
All night, love all night, practice makes perfect,
Gonna get it right, gonna get it right, one night at a time
All night, love all night, practice makes perfect,
Gonna get it right, gonna get it right, one night at a time
Oh I think about you all day long
It feels so good it cant be wrong
Ive got my fingers crossed that this goes on and on
Tomorrow, well, thats another day,
Come on baby, now what do you say
Lets take our love one night at a time
All night, love all night, practice makes perfect,
Gonna get it right, gonna get it right, one night at a time
(instrumental break)
Oh I think about you all day long
It feels so good it cant be wrong,
Ive got my fingers crossed that this goes on and on
All night, love all night, practice makes perfect, gonna get it right
Gonna get it right, one night at a time
All night, love all night, practice makes perfect,
Gonna get it right, gonna get it right, one night at a time
All night, love all night, practice makes perfect,
Gonna get it right, gonna get it right, one night at a time

Wise and Wisdom
The nature of wisdom,
The nature of insight is such that
If you know that something is good and
You don’t do it, you loose your insight.
If you want to develop wisdom and deep insight,
Put into practice as soon as possible what
You understand to be right thing to do.
If you do just this one thing I assure you that you
can develop your deep spiritual qualities.
Be more mindful, your mind will tell you;
The right thing to do.
No matter how much;
we know if we don’t put it into practice,
what is the point of knowledge.
Learning a few things at a time, and
immediately putting them into practice.
That is the most important thing to do,
Don’t wait for more knowledge.
Do what you know right now,
That will make you know more and more.
Wise person becomes wiser;
When they do what they know now and it will make it easier
For you to do the next thing.
Take small steps to improve ourselves every day,
Consistently and with determination,
It gets easier as you go on.
As long as you head in the right direction and
Keep going you’ll get there.

Portraits
We can always do better,
Art discover, Art adventure,
Like a prickly cactus,
Needles poke, we practice.
My father taught me that the only way you can make good at anything is to practice, and then practice some more.
Practice Maker Perfect
D. roberts / e. gold
If practice makes perfect
Lets try that old embrace
In some romantic place
Where we can take out time
If practice makes perfect
Just close you eyes again
Well try those sights again
And make them more sublime
Were in loves kindergarden
Learning from a to z
And if its fun just starting
Think what its going to be
If practice makes perfect
Lets have that kiss again
We mustn miss again
Were not doing bad right now
Were not doing bad
Lets practice some more
Were not doing bad right now

Alan Watts Blues
Well Im taking some time with my quiet friend
Well Im takin some time on my own.
Well Im makin some plans for my getaway
Therell be blue skies shining up above
When Im cloud hidden
Cloud hidden
Whereabouts unknown
Well Ive got to get out of the rat-race now
Im tired of the ways of mice and men
And the empires all turning into rust again.
Out of everything nothing remains the same
Thats why Im cloud hidden
Cloud hidden
Whereabouts unknown
Bridge
Sittin up on the mountain-top in my solitude
Where the morning fog comes rollin in
Just might do me some good.
Well Im waiting in the clearing with my motor on
Well its time to get back to the town again
Where the air is sweet and fresh in the countryside
Well it wont be long before I get back here again.

It's just that if you're not disruptive everything seems to be repeated endlessly - not so much the good things but the bland things - the ordinary things - the weaker things get repeated- the stronger things get suppressed and held down and hidden.
