Americans in particular are myopic. They're not traveling as much. When you were a college student, the next thing you would do on graduation was to take a year off and travel. That's what I did. I went to Indonesia.

Graduation 2013

Graduation is coming faster then you know
soon it will be may and we will all be alone
soon we will be crying and we will finally be free
adults you see
either going off to college or staying home
graduation is all we want to hear
there will be laughs
and i'm afraid more tears
as we honor those who wont be with us this year
they did to young
but hey it's life
graduation will be the worst
but the worst is yet to come
graduation is the bench mark
as you close your high school chapter
and open a knew one to life!
GRADUATION I CAN'T WAIT! ! ! ! !

Nowhere but INDONESIA

Nowhere but Indonesia
Thousands island lies on equator
Sun shines brightly along the year
Welcoming smiles are free of charge

Nowhere but Indonesia
Thousands lie covered those islands
Son shy to says that He is right
Full of charge are those who lies

Nowhere but Indonesia
Hope and pain live in peace
For hope is shadow of the pain
And pain is a charge of the hope

Nowhere but Indonesia
Plant and animals live in harmony
For it was said beyond the ages
and should be paid without objection

Nowhere but Indonesia
Children built their little dream
Tear it off when they grew up
Comes denial when getting old

Nowhere but Indonesia
We smile when we smile
We smile when we not smile
We not smile when you smile

Nowhere but Indonesia
Am on my knee lift up a prayer
God bless my country is what I plea
Coz my country long time no smile

Nowhere but Indonesia
Thousands island lie on equator
Hope and pain live in peace
We smile when we not smile

Instead, California is one of only 10 states that provides in-state college and university tuition to illegal immigrants. That's grossly unfair to a legal high school student who moves out of California for a year, then returns to attend college.

Life and Traveling

Traveling can be fun right? But what does it mean to travel?
Does it mean that your mind is gone or is it your body?

When you think about traveling, you think oh I can go some where and have fun. Do people travel to get away from others or do they travel to get away from themselves?

Do people really mean that they want thier body or thier mind to travel?
I guess it just depends on the place and time and whom you are with...

Album

Organizing

My summer job

my graduation

prom

I'm not nearly as stressed as last year

but i'm not as happy, either

because last year there was drama.

this year, I'm just sad.

It's all coming to an end so fast.

I thought that all these friendships would forever last.

People always say it, but now I understand

the only thing that will stay

is an album

Tryin To Get To You

(words & music by c. singleton - r.m. mccoy)
Ive been traveling over mountains
Even through the valleys, too
Ive been traveling night and day
Ive been running all the way
Baby, trying to get to you.
Ever since I read your letter
Where you said you loved me true
Ive been traveling night and day
Ive been running all the way
Baby, trying to get to you
When I read your loving letter
Then my heart began to sing
There were many miles between us,
But they didnt mean a thing.
I just had to reach you, baby,
In spite of all that Ive been through.
I kept traveling night and day,
I kept running all the way,
Baby, trying to get to you.
Well if I had to do it over
Thats exactly what Id do,
I would travel night and day,
And Id still run all the way,
Baby, trying to get to you.
Well, theres nothing that could hold me
Or that could keep me away from you
When your loving letter told me
That you really loved me true
Lord above me knows I love you
It was he who brought me through,
When my way was dark as night,
He would shine his brightest light,
When I was trying to get to you.

Trying To Get To You

Domino College

By: jimmy buffett, dan fogelberg
1986
Found myself a matchbook
Beside some hotel bed
Opened it up and looked inside
And this is what it said
Chorus:
Get on back to school
Domino college, back to school
Boneyard full of knowledge
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back to school, going back, back to school)
Fly down to miami
Get yourself a boat
Fill it full of suntan oil
And rent yourself a goat
Aint no registration
Aint no student loan
You may not learn to read or write
But you will surely learn to roll dem bones
Chorus:
Get on back to school
Domino college, back to school
Boneyard full of knowledge
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back to school, going back, back to school)
They dont rap your knuckles
If you cut the class
They just track you through the jungle boy
Then they kick your ass
Its a different kind of domino theory
They teach you down in butler town
If you lose you buy the booze
And then the student body all falls down
Chorus:
They cant get back to school
Domino college, back to school
Fountain of knowledge
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back, back to school)
Get on back
Make your parents hate you
Be a big disgrace
Act just like a domino
And fall on your face
Chorus:
You cant get back to school
Domino college, back to school
Fountain of knowledge
There aint no graduation from this kind of education
Back to school (going back, back to school)
W-w-w-orking vacation in a third world nation
Back to school (going back, back to school)
Be true to your school
-- spoken:
Oh, jan & dean be true to your school. big six, big six, whose got it? goddamn robert when you gonna play man, hey man, say, you know whose turn it is.
Coda:
Back to school (going back to school) repeat and fade

The Magic of the Breeze – 32 I used to travel by train

I used to travel by train
Previously too – The travel
At night, the distant lights
The stars in sky, hopeful dreams
The sound of thundering wheels
Singing a song to the rhythm
Of the beat of the heart of steel
The rush of the wind
Standing by the door
I used to think what means all this
The fury and sound, the very travel
The people I used to meet or travel with
No one has been able to erase the sadness
Or ease the pain I feel when traveling
I used to feel all alone by the door
And life speeding by towards the end.
I have enjoyed my travel too
In groups with friends now far apart
I remember days gone by never to come
But, however long the distance
I used to stand at least half the time.
With you I now sit and enjoy
It is no longer a pain
Before travel was business
Travel was necessary and unavoidable
It was an escape sometimes
Just the act of traveling – running away
But, I always had to come back
And face life alone, just alone.
Now, you have shown me
The other side of travel by train
The train is still the train
The people, crowd all are the same
But yet not the very same,
You and I, no one else I see
Time, with it all people, the crowd
Are frozen in time and none exists
Other than just the two of us
I myself am in a dream till the end
Drinking the air and feeling
The breeze and you fill each cell
I no longer think, I only wait
To feel the brush of your touch
And the kiss of the breeze!

Travelling down memory lane

Traveling down memory lane
is not all black 'n white.
Traveling down memory lane
is not all lacking light.

Traveling down memory lane
is not eye filled with tears.
Traveling down memory lane
brings fresh and soothing air.

Traveling down memory lane
is love & pain, fun with friends.
Traveling down memory lane
is full of curves and bends.

Traveling down memory lane
is a test of time and mind
Traveling down memory lane
is a joy of it's kind.

Graduation: Crest And Trough

First day in college, full of determination,
Had own certain tenets and definitions,
Focused to achieve the only one aim,
Bringing proud to family and no shame,

Swiftness of time never polished
But only tainted,
Who this person in me I rented,
Aims and determination seemed fainted,

Graduation on the verge of end,
Hardly, any remarkable memories penned,
Seeing, myself disfigured I'm stunned,
All bad I owed, good just shunned,

Had a thought what am I going to do,
Was the thing, not too new,
Aim I had was single, not few,
At last it seemed I have to rue,

Rue conferred no good, but only discomforts,
That I envisioned, being zero my efforts,
Graduation days filled me with only dirts,
Sometime weakened, alleviated me my strong heart,

Now, I see the vistas of prospects,
Marring in me all old discomforting suspects,
Envisaged the life and its better aspects,
Rose myself to conquer the very aimed prospect.

Summer Fun

The school year's coming to an end,
June is almost here;
Seniors taking their exams,
Graduation time is near.

Vacation is just weeks away
For each and every student;
Most of them will find a job,
Earning money's always prudent.

Summer is a time for fun
To enjoy in every way,
But working helps to pay for gas
To drive your car each day.

So have some fun, don't work too hard,
Leave some time for play;
Summer doesn't last too long
Before it goes away.

Class of 2007

Times have come
times have went
some were bad
some were ment

Year after year
day after day
we left a great legacie
what more is there to say

We have seen so much
since we have been crawlin
many wars have been fought
and towers have fallin

Graduation day nears
are we ready for this
all the good times we had
will seem so bliss

Friends we have made
the memories will last
but some will be forgotten
because they left so fast

Some will go to college
and others will stay
but we all will be gone
at the end of May

Some friends will stay
and others will go
some will be hard workers
and others make lots of dough

We will be gone
as we leave this building behind
all of the homework
and the teachers who were kind

We have done so much
our legacie will not die
will things still be the same
as we say our last goodbye
