There's always a question of duration, there's a question of who the orchestra is. No one is free to write what you want - you collaborate on a film score, and one of the good things is that someone else's work is motivating you.

Without blinking
Without blinking stare at an object
Tears roll and no question is there why.
On oily paper pens do not write
No question is there why.
Water through fissures not leaking
Ocean floor and there is no question why.
The question is there is no question to put why.
I am just obseving and observing
I can shot
The mute then show gut.

How Do You Write Poetry
There is a question I am often asked,
of which I have no answer for at all.
The question is a simple one,
how do you write poetry?
To be honest I haven’t got a clue.
With me the words just trickle out
one after the other,
if they rhyme that is great
and if they don’t, I just scratch my head.
I cannot tell anyone how to write,
for me it’s just a natural thing.
I write almost everything,
novels, short stories, poems and songs.
I have even written a couple of plays,
but that was a long, long time ago.
However to tell anyone how to write,
I would not know where to begin.
The answer I give to the question is simple;
write whatever you like good or bad.
It’s yours and be proud of it
no matter what anyone else has to say.
The more you write the better you will get.
However, the most important thing
that you should always remember and that is
that you write, write, and write!

I question myself every day. That's what I still find motivating about this. I don't have the answers, I don't pretend that I do just because I won the match. Just keep fighting and maybe something good happens.

Question Meaning
The meaning of the question
Is to always question meaning,
The meaning of life,
And the life of meaning.
The life unquestioned
Means very little,
Just as a life left meaningless,
Without question, has very little life.
Therefore, we all should daily question
The meaning of life,
By doing so, life's Meaning
Will unquestionably, each day, find us.
Remember: we are free to question meaning;
May we become free enough to
Let it freely question us.

Meeting Brahman on Equal Terms
Posted: Thu Sep 10,2009 11: 52 am Post subject:

From ah to ha..
Sacred jokes don’t travel well.
They have nowhere they can go…
He told me how as a young seeker
he went to the guru and asked
about the nature of the Brahman…
The guru’s eyes twinkled as he said,
That’s a very good question…
not many people ask that…:
here’s a pen and paper;
now write your question carefully;
fold it neatly;
now put it in your dhoti kurta pocket there
and when you meet the Brahman,
ask Him the same question…’

We Are Who We Are
Do you ever ask yourself why?
Why do I say the things I do?
Why is it I have these feelings?
Why can't I find the reason to my life?
Do you ever wonder if?
If life changed.
If you died.
If you were to go insane.
Do you go around asking yourself what?
What am i doing?
What am I supossed to do?
What day is it?
Do you ever look in the mirrior and asked yourself things?
Do I look fat?
Do I look acceptible for work?
Do I have enough time for one more thing?
If we are so independant and confident as a human race,
why do we ask why?
Why do you always find ifs in things?
What do we always question things for?
Why do we question who we are?

Question
Looking for question: have you got one?
Hungry for question: will you give one?
Looking for question
O Yeah
Looking for question
Because
God gives the answer.
God gives the answer
In so many ways!
That’s why
Looking for question
O Yeah
Searching for question.

Who Am I? 3
Who am I? Who am I?
I don’t know anymore.
Not so long ago I had friends by the score
who were knocking on my door,
but not anymore.
Just the nagging question.
Who am I?
Who am I? Who am I?
I don’t know anymore.
My parents are gone
and my sister does not want to know.
I am left in a limbo
and not sure which way to go
with only a nagging question.
Who am I?
Who am I? Who am I?
My identity is fraught with indecision.
My life is in a whirlpool of dissention.
I am lost in a wilderness
of which there is no escape.
I cannot tell who I am anymore.
All I have is a nagging question in my mind.
Who am I?

Oh So Simple Question
I have a question
I have a simple thought
I am the border obsession
I am the clever, the taught
You have my aggression
You have a complication
You are an angry expression
You are the unheard conversation
We have a serious problem
Something simple yet trying
You understand, you look solemn
You know exactly what question I’m implying
Now concentrate, ask it now
Your eyes beg not to be told
Tell it now, but tell it how?
How to tell this question I hold
Wait! Look at your eyes
Now desperate to know
The question I hide
The question I knew not long ago
NO! I no longer remember
The simple question I wanted to ask
That cold day, in that snowy December
Oh how I hate this shy mask
Maybe I will once again
Think of a simple question
Whilst I walk down memory lane
Maybe, one day, you will hear my confession

Plant An Apple Tree
Some people once to Martin Luther turned
and asked: “What would you do, sir, if you learned
the world would end tomorrow? ” to which he
replied: “Good question. Plant an apple tree.
If they would ask me the same question, I
would say: “Here’s what I’d do before I die.
I’d write a poem, which I would address
to God. Perhaps He hardly could care less
about my verses than He does about
the tree of Luther and can do without
them both, but I will challenge Him to find
a poem He can plant inside His mind.
James Newton Howard whose 'Defiance' score competed for an Academy Award has written a 19-minute orchestral piece that will premiere as part of the Pacific Symphony's annual American Composers Festival, beginning Thursday in Costa Mesa. Its inspiration came from a statement by Luther: , as Jon Burlingame reported in the LA Times, February 22,2009:
Howard reflected on the commission recently while seated at a keyboard in his Santa Monica studio. 'This is a soul-cleansing process for me, ' he said, 'to be able to write completely unrestricted, provide my own narrative and work with Carl St.Clair and an orchestra the caliber of Pacific Symphony.' Yet, he added, 'Having no restraints is liberating and terrifying. I can't hide behind a movie - the music will be evaluated on its own merits.' Howard felt he needed a narrative. He remembered a quote from Martin Luther: 'Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.' 'I was struck by the overwhelming positivity of that statement in the face of the possibility of the world ending, ' he said. 'The world is in deep crisis now in so many ways, I wanted it to be about grace in the face of tremendous difficulty. That's what inspired me to begin the piece.'

His Answer To My Question Was A Question
His answer to my question
Was a question
My answer to his reply
Was returned
With another question
The game of
Answering and asking
Questions
Did not end
Till I questioned
The very motive
Of our conversation
We came to the conclusion
How to pass time?
Was the biggest question
Asking questions
And creating confusion
Was the answer
So we passed our time
Asking and answering questions
The question now is
Whether we did right or wrong?
The answer is
Why ask a useless question?

Faith I Don't Question
How can I 'see' some things and you don't?
That's a good question.
One I can not explain.
When I see a clear path,
I walk on it.
There may be some obstacles.
I face them and move on.
You,
I hear rustling through the brush,
Cussing at the leaves falling from trees.
And criticizing the insects,
And other animals in their natural habitat.
I hear you struggling over aches and pains.
You inflicted them.
On that route you insist you must maintain.
When I see a clear path,
I walk on it.
There may be some obstacles.
I face them and move on.
How can I 'see' some things and you don't?
That's a good question.
One I can not explain.
I make sure the path I'm on,
Has some direction.
And I stay on it with faith,
I don't question.
I just 'do' and let God be my guide!

You Are Dressed
you are dressed i see
like me
white as snow
and well ironed like
a kimono
i ask you
where are you going from here?
and you said
a question for an answer
how about you
where are you going from here?
and i ask too
a question to another question
do you know where you are going to?
and then i tell that man in white: i am staying.
and he went away without telling me where.
when i tell mother about it
she says
good my son, you did not go with him
by now, you would have been dead.
mother i know, as always, is superstitious.
