It crossed our minds early on that the more an audience cared - we were working before, on average, 240, live people. If you could get them caring - the more they cared, the harder they laughed.

I Wish I Cared
(magne furuholmen)
To hold me closer or set me free
To trust completely or let it be
You dont know my destiny
You cant see what I can see
Hey - I wish I cared
Hey - I wish I cared
To love me truely or let me go
Inbetween I dont want to know
This is how it has to be
No more us and no more we
Hey - I wish I cared
Hey - I wish I cared
Once again, on the station
See your face in a crowd
Comes again the sensation
You cant hear yourself think
With their voices inside your head
Hey - I wish I cared
Hey - I wish I cared
I wish I cared
Yes I really do
I wish I cared
(hey) I wish I cared
Yes I really do
I wish I cared
(hey) I wish I cared
I wish I cared
(hey)

You Owe It All To Me
Never thought there would be a time
When all youd wanna do is fight
Its made me suffer lonely days
And Im waitin for the evenings sun
To come along and calm me down
Cant you see that on my face
Without me you would be nowhere
All alone Ive cared
You owe it all to me
Without me you would be nowhere
All alone Ive cared
You owe it all to me
I know it seems to you sometimes
When were alone I tend to hide
Leave my feelings locked behind a door
As I watch the wind cut through the trees
I never wanted you to leave
I only wish Id told you this before
Without me you would be nowhere
All alone Ive cared
You owe it all to me
Without me you would be nowhere
All alone Ive cared
You owe it all to me
What kinda life am I to lead
With this love youve given me
I thought you were a friend of mine
But everyday youre someone new
And thats the one Ive got to lose
Why do you make it so hard to fight
Without me you would be nowhere
All alone Ive cared
You owe it all to me
Without me you would be nowhere
All alone Ive cared
You owe it all to me

Average Guy
I aint no christian or no born again saint
I aint no cowboy or marxist d.a.
I aint no criminal or reverend cripple from the right
I am just your average guy, trying to do whats right
Im just your average guy
An average guy
I am just your average guy
Im just an average guy
Average guy, Im just your average guy
Im average looking and Im average inside
Im an average lover and I live in an average place
You wouldnt know me if you met me face to face
Im just your average guy
Average guy
Average guy
Im just an average guy
I worry about money and taxes and such
I worry that my livers big and it hurts to the touch
I worry about my health and bowels
And the crime waves in the street
Im really just your average guy
Trying to stand on his own two feet
Im just your average guy
Im just your average guy
Im just your average guy
Average guy
Average looks, average taste
Average height, an average waist
Average in everything I do
My temperature is 98.2
Im just your average guy
An average guy
Average guy
Im just an average guy
Average guy
Im just your average guy
Im just your average guy
Im just your average guy
Average

Still A Victim
aug13,2010
it has been a year later,
and i still dream of the nightmare,
everthing you said would happen,
never did because you gotten what you wanted,
to never see me again,
you never cared about how you treated me,
because it was never your problem,
you never cared about what i went through,
sometimes you laughed when it wasn't funny,
and now i'm surpose to forget?
i keep saying i don't care,
but deep down i do,
maybe because people who accepted me,
wanted me to forgive youm
when they don't understand,
that you never showed your true colors,
when you were around them,
they were blinded by who they thought you were,
not who you really are.

Ego
Written by ricky & marty wilde
All the time I try to reason with you
But I just cant seem to make you understand
Nothing seems to ever really get through
Cant you feel emotions like any other man
You never cared for anyone (anyone)
You never cared for anyone (at all)
Any love that youve ever given me
You only gave me for your ego
Look at how you wanted all of my tears
Any time you felt you needed security
All the nights you let me out on my own
Thats the thing that you just cant give back to me
You never cared for anyone (anyone)
You never cared for anyone (at all)
Any love that youve ever given me
You only gave me for your ego
Youre only plan it seems is look after number one
You just cant comprehend what it means to love someone
Stay away, get lost, get out of my life
Cant you see the changes now and at last Im free
Any plans I have just dont include you
And thats the one thing you wont take from me
You never cared for anyone (anyone)
You never cared for anyone (at all)
Any love that youve ever given me
You only gave me for your ego
Every time I tried to reason with you
But it seemed that I never made you understand
Nothing ever seemed to ever really get through
Cant you feel emotions like any other man
You never cared for anyone (anyone)
You never cared for anyone (at all)
Any love that youve ever given me
You only gave me for your ego

Sweating with Blistered Hands
I use to care with a doing.
And a sacrifice with a giving away of talents,
To prove my sincerity with beliefs a unity...
Was not a cause but an obligation.
After years of feeling this way,
And having those same voices today say...
'Things aren't the way they use to be.
When people cared about others,
And showed a caring of loyalty that was unquestioned.'
And listening to this with a realization,
How some people like to embellish their past.
Those same people who sat on their...
Fat lapses of action.
Are still hopelessly looking for direction,
From 'someone' who agrees to do things...
The way their ancestors did.
When being accountable meant...
Following behind someone,
Who joked and laughed with them all day.
To leave others assigned to work in the fields,
Sweating with blistered hands.

Another Sad Story...Another Broken Heart
She once cared so much
If I am to belive the words she wrote
But she only cared while it suited her
And when I began to care
I felt compassion for her
And I treated her the only way I could
with honesty
But honesty was too harsh
She thought I was not on her side
She miscalculated again
A hair-trigger defense mechanism
I felt her hurt
But I despised it
Because all about her was false
except for the self loathing....that was honest
and honest too was this:
Her act of caring
but her inability to care for anyone
But herself
In parting I felt her private hell
I cared deeply
but it did no good in the end
and the futility of it was something I was not prepared for
She was not the one for me
and that rendered me meaningless and useless
But I loved her anyway
And that's the part that hurt
That she had no idea that it meant anything
She walled herself off in a little room
and closed the cover on herself
locked in a sad story
that nobody is allowed to know of
but the page that was me
was thrown into the fire
as if I never existed
I was trying to let her know
The stories always end the same
The End!

Full Moon
She was wearing the coral taffeta trousers
Someone had brought her from Ispahan,
And the little gold coat with pomegranate blossoms,
And the coral-hafted feather fan;
But she ran down a Kentish lane in the moonlight,
And skipped in the pool of the moon as she ran.
She cared not a rap for all the big planets,
For Betelgeuse or Aldebaran,
And all the big planets cared nothing for her,
That small impertinent charlatan;
But she climbed on a Kentish stile in the moonlight,
And laughed at the sky through the sticks of her fan.

Power of Prayer
I shared with someone I cared.
And immediately I was told,
My caring was obsolete.
I was told I didn't have to.
I knew then my mind was ill spent.
I didn't have to take it back.
I just let it fade away.
I knew where my caring came from.
They believed it could be salvaged.
As if it could be traded for something better.
Like an upgrade.
Of course they had no idea the power of prayer.
And that's where my caring for them had meant.
But some folks wish not to be that connected.
And who am I to argue with that kind of ego?

Women of the working class, especially wage workers, should not have more than two children at most. The average working man can support no more and and the average working woman can take care of no more in decent fashion.

Your alone
All those words you once said to me
All those things you once did for me
All of it wasent because you liked me
It was because you found someone that liked you
And you knew you could play there feelings just so you wouldnt be alone
You never cared about me
All you ever wanted was someone to be there for you
So you wouldn't be alone
That's all you ever cared about
And that's all you'll ever care about
Not who your with
Just that your not alone
And now I have left
And your useing her
Just so you wont be alone again
When in all reality all you'll ever be is alone

All You Had To Say
All you had to say
Was that you want me
All you had to say
Was that you cared
All you had to say
Was that you love me
Instead you were
Never really there
You came into my life
When I was with somebody else
I opened up my heart to you
And told you how I felt
I never looked at you
As nothing more than just a friend
But your sweet words
Your sweet kiss
Baby let you right in
Damn you was good
Damn you was tight
I wish I knew you ere no good
That you were just a liar
All you had to say
Was that you want me
All you had to say
Was that you cared
All you had to say
Was that you love me
Instead you were
Never really there
Just the sound of your voice
Makes me realize
How much i don't need you
In my life
So don't you call me on the phone
'Cause you're just wasting time
And as a matter of fact
I swear you don't even
Cross my mind
Damn you was good
Damn you was tight
I wish I knew you ere no good
That you were just a liar
All you had to say
Was that you want me
All you had to say
Was that you cared
All you had to say
Was that you love me
Instead you were
Never really there
Say goodbye
To the best thing
That you've ever ha
Say goodnight
To the dreams of us getting back
No more wishing on a star
For you and me
'Cause in my heart you and me
We'll never be
All you had to say
Was that you want me
All you had to say
Was that you cared
All you had to say
Was that you love me
Instead you were
Never really there

The Devil Loves You
Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Have you ever felt?
Ever felt this way? Tainted with rage you can't
drain away or it will cost you your life. I couldn't care more.
Do you ever absorb what shouldn't be touched? Have you ever
cared? Ever cared this much?
Do you think it is I who is out of touch

What A True Friend All About
aug,14,2010
everytimed i cried,
you were right by my side,
when people turned away,
you never did,
when i wanted to die,
you asked me why?
when i thought people stopped caring,
you always lend a hug,
through thick and thin,
you remained true to me,
it means alot,
that you cared alot,
when i felt alone,
you were my company,
and until this day,
you reminded me to pass on the love,
and what a true friend is all about,
when life became difficult.

He said that he would stay forever
forever wasn't very long
He said that he would take the high road
He thought that I was always wrong
Cause when he lied it meant he loved me
And when he lied it meant he cared
And when he lied it meant he loved me
Cause when he lied it meant that he was there
He said that he would go his own way
wrapped up my leg and down my spine
He said that he would be the fairest
Drenched in blood and turpentine
Cause when he lied it meant he loved me
And when he lied it meant he cared
And when he lied it meant he loved me
Cause when he lied it meant that he was there
I am never going back I don't care what he said
I wish he could see the hate in my head
I am never going back I don't care what he said
I wish he could see the hate in my head
I am never going back I don't care what he said
I wish he could see the hate in my head
I am never going back I don't care what he said
I wish he could see the hate
He said that he would tell no secrets
He said that he would never lie
He said that he would spring eternal
He said that we would never die
Cause when he lied it meant he loved me
And when he lied it meant he cared
And when he lied it meant he loved me
Cause when he cried it meant he cared
Cause when he lied it meant he loved me
And when he lied it meant he cared
And when he lied it meant he loved me
Cause when he lied it meant that
he was
he was
he was
He was there

To Know Love
Oh to feel the love's embrace
The joy and happiness seen upon one's face
To know that the love is really true
Is a gift from God
I wish I knew
For people can be so cruel and nasty
Using someone's heart
To get what they fancy
Then letting them down
Never caring what they have done
For all they ever cared about is number one
Oh heart of mine
Please hang on

What If
(diane warren)
Sometimes I dont understand.
Feels like Im living in a world gone mad.
Look around, all around its just the same.
People just rush everywhere.
No time to ever take the time to care.
Were the ones.
Were the losers in this game.
So where is the tenderness we scarifice for progress.
And where is the love we need.
You know it makes me wonder.
What if everybody, what if everybody reached out with just one hand (reached with just one hand).
What if everybody, what if everybody sang out with just one voice (sang with just one voice).
Maybe we could change things.
What if everybody, what if everybody cared with just one heart (cared with their own heart).
What if everybody, what if everybody tried to light one spark (tried to light one spark).
Maybe we could change things somehow.
Somehow its all up to us.
Gotta take this world, make it a world of love.
Gotta do it now.
Gotta find a way to make a change somehow.
Theres gotta be a way for us to make it better.
Here in our hearts.
Oh the answer is there.
If we only would look inside them.
We can make it better, we can make it better...if we try together.
Maybe we could change things somehow

Oh Yes, That Was When We Were Once Children
that was when we thought
of nothing but
a game, when words are but
teasers,
when what we assume
is nothing but to be fed
and cared of
when our mouths knew nothing
but laughter
we had enough of those times
and those that fed and cared for us
had long died
and left us now with what they had
we replace what they gave us
now we are no longer their children
we take the turn
of giving laughter in return
see, they are all waiting in the playgrounds
of our lives.

Isn't That The Way
I've got feeling inside me
I'm not letting you know
I can't stop the wastin' of the world
Wastin' all the days and minutes hours slip away
I can't stop the ways in which you plan
To leave our past behind
I know they've changed your mind
Isn't that the way someone told you
Isn't that the way someone cared
Isn't that the way someone told you
Isn't that the way someone cared
I can't stop the rest of me
From not letting you know
I'm not here to preach to you what I had
Faking all the feelings that I started letting grow
I can't stop the ways in which you plan
To leave our past behind
Tomorrow's left my mind
Bridge:
I can't stop the way in which you plan
To do it all, leave it all behind
Tomorrow's left my mind
Isn't that the way someone told you
Isn't that the way someone cared
Isn't that the way someone told you
Isn't that the way someone cared
