If you have a setback, and you're not doing well and then you overcome it somehow, it always sticks with you. You know it could happen again.

Bonfire
stoke the fire!

sticks of sexual abuse

stoke the fire!
build it up till

Overcome
even now the world is bleedin' but feelin' just fine all numb
in our castle where we're always free to choose never free enough
to find i wish somethin' would break cuz we're runnin' out of time
and i am overcome i am overcome holy water in my lungs i am overcome
these women in the street pullin' out their hair my master's
in the yard givin' light to the unaware this plastic little place
is just a step amongst the stairs
and i am overcome i am overcome baby holy water in my lungs i am overcome
so drive me out out to that open field turn the ignition off
and spin around your help is here but i'm parked in this open space
blockin' the gates of love
i am overcome i am overcome holy water in my lungs i am overcomed
beautiful drowning this beautiful drowning this holy water
this holy water is in my lungs
and i am overcome i am overcome i am overcome i am overcome

Good Life
There is this door in front of you
If you don't open and see what behind it
You are going miss out on a lot
There is
Good life
If you just overcome your fear
There will be something amazing happen
You will never regret yourself if you just do it
If you want something so much
All you have to do is dig a little deeper
There is going to be ups and downs, but
If you believe in yourself and do it
You doing it with flying colors and
Good life
Happen because you did it
Just remeber that you're not alone
There is someone you can go to or lean on
You might think is hard and
Give up on yourself and doubt yourself too
Don't do that and
There is going to be ostacles that going block your way
So just face you fear
Good life
Will come to you and you see that you're strong enough to do it
You will be great when you do it
There is this door in front of you
If you don't open and
See what behind it
You going miss out on a lot
There is a
Good life
If you just overcome your fear
There will be something amazing happen
You will never regret yourself if you just do it
There are these two paths
You have to choose
One can lead you in dark or good path if you lucky enough
Just remember if you made wrong decision
Then next time try making the better choice.
Good life
Will come along way
So just hold on tight and be brave
It going to be worthwhile if you just do it
Good life

Worthless as friend
I was unable to decide whether to smile or not
For unexpected setback over which I had not thought
It happens sometimes in life and we got to swallow
Even if not disliked yet to welcome and allow
It can be anything including love failure
Each moment reminds us of how unsure it is
Nothing goes as per our wish and gives joy
Still we go by fate and try to forget and enjoy
Life can’t be brought at stand still
As nothing may happen as per our will
There is almighty to take care of everything
Only we have to put efforts for little or something
Sometimes we have to ignore the facts
It can not help even if we cry or react
It may happen and cause us the worry
As human being we have to smile and feel only sorry
The helplessness is not something of our doing
You may have nothing even if done all kinds of wooing
The result may come at an appointed hour
You must take it for granted and never feel sour
“I am breaking of relation”
She entered room and blasted with indignation
I just looked at her face and wondered at her outburst
She was in real pain over confused definition of trust
I could have gone straight and consoled her
It was giving her tremendous hurt and led to bother
I had no morale courage and explain the truth
She was not utterly wrong but not true either
How could take her for granted as companion?
I had very much wanted bond with union
I was utter failure in life with no success
It was difficult for me to give her access
I denied her entry plainly on one reason
I was not sure of future and stable person
Something might have caused her mental breakdown
I preferred her to cause little setback and go down
It worked and she came with hurricane speed
She was given to understand with perfect feed
I was useless and stood for no promises
She got raged and blamed me for all the misses
Internally I had all the pride to satisfy
Only regret I had that I could not pacify
She was all for me till the end
Only I could prove worthless as friend

From the bowery to the brimstone
I tried to find your heart
With drugs of initiation
The bottom of a barrel that drops
I understand your causes
Sympathize the motivation
But all the details of this war
Are just self-infatuation
And its 1 2 3
Nothings for free
4 5 6
Pick up the sticks and go home
Manic blood runs thick my friend
Are you looking for a clean escape
Whats left when the locks have all been broken
Young children of authority
Now how long can you be agile
Dancing between the alter and the mercy seat
Yeah now heres a chance to make a choice
Are you aware of the fire beneath your feet
1 2 3
Nothings for free
4 5 6
Pick up the sticks and go home
The basement lies within us
Our fear comes through the door
Now theres nothing left between us
As the fear becomes a roar
Once that wheel is in motion
Dont you lose what you have found
Im talking about that burning wheel of tongues
Everything that makes it go round and round
Were all born in the devils scorn
They want to see you die
Im asking you are you true
Everything they say is a lie
Its a lie
1 2 3
Nothings for free
4 5 6
Pick up the sticks and go
1 2 3
Nothings for free
4 5 6
Pick up the sticks and go
1 2 3
(were all born)
Nothings for free
(in the devils scorn)
1 2 3
(were all born)
Nothings for free
(in the devils scorn)
Everything they say its a lie
(were all born)
Its a lie now
(in the devils scorn)
Everything they say its a lie
Its a lie now
Pick up the sticks
(pick up the sticks)
Pick up the sticks
(pick up the sticks)
Pick up the sticks
(pick up the sticks)
Pick up the sticks
And go home

Quatrain #116 - There's good and bad wherever....
There's good and bad wherever you may happen to go
as this world is a play of opposites we should all know.
To be caught up between the two is what we're here to overcome
and after we've gone beyond them both our main job here is done.

Why We Fight pt 1 (Lock and Load)
You’ve walked out the garden and watched your hands go
From picking up berries to picking up ammo
The same sticks and twigs that build up your village
Fight off the conquers and plunders and pillage//
-Stones and sticks and sticks and stones
Gather them up to protect your home
And when needed use them on some bones
Lay them all down to outline your zone
Raise them and burn them on your throne
Monsters can’t outrun the sticks and stones-
Sharpen your spears to take down your dinner
You and the beast can’t both be the winner
It’s about time you got out of this slump
Load up your brains to outsmart the hunt

Need not bother
It is just a feeling and not apathy
You need support and not sympathy
It is simple faith and trust
That is in all the way must
It is endless story
That causes you to worry
Don’t feel embarrassed or sorry
Shall needlessly you to carry
It is not imagination of a poet
But love demands not to remain quiet
Be hopeful and trust each other
Rest all will be fine and don’t bother
Love is note a commodity
That shall be called bad quality
Nothing is going to happen
If some temporary setback is taken
You may be left wondering
Always think of it and pondering
Yet its end may be nice and well
You got to take pride and delightfully tell

It Can Happen
You can fool yourself
You can cheat until youre blind
You can cut your heart
It can happen
You can mend the wires
You can feed the soul apart
You reach
It can happen to you
It can happen to me
It can happen to everyone eventually
Its a constant fight
A constant fight
Youre pushing the needle to the red
Black and white
Who knows whos right
No substitute youre born youre dead
Fly by night
Created out of fantasy
Our destinations call
Look up - look down
Look out - look around
Look up - look down
Theres a crazy world outside
Were not about to lose our pride
It can happen to you
It can happen to me
It can happen to everyone eventually
As you happen to say
It can happen today
As it happens
It happens in every way
This world I like
We architects of life
A song a sigh
Developing words that linger
Through fields of green through open eyes
This for us to see
Look up - look down
Look out - look around
So look up - look down
Theres a crazy world outside
Were not about to lose our pride
It can happen to you
It can happen to me
It can happen to everyone eventually
As you happen to say
It can happen today
As it happens
It happens in every way
As you happen to see
It will happen to be
Nothing happens to nowhere and nowhere
Solo
Look up - look down
Theres a crazy world outside
Were not about to lose our pride
It can happen to you
It can happen to me
It can happen to everyone eventually
As you happen to see
It will happen to be
Nothing happens to nowhere and nowhere

Are You & Me Gonna Happen
Are you and me gonna happen
Are you and me gonna happen soon
The gods smiled hard down upon
The love thats shared
Heavens awaiting those who dare
Are you and me gonna happen
Are you and me gonna happen soon
A sweeter feeling I cant guess will ever be
A truer union I cant see
I dont know how much more I can take
I will run through th streets
Ill howl at the moon
If you and me can not be happening soon
Are you and me gonna happen soon
Are you and me gonna happen soon

Thunder And Lightning
I thought that you thought that we thought we were bound to each other,
But it's not that way, we don't care about one another.
Thunder and lightning showed me all the threats you weren't saying.
Thunder and lightning; gonna throw it all away
Thunder and lightning, and you touched my life without warning.
Oh, how i loved you; you loved me; now, what are we thinking?
Thunder and lightning will burn you just as sure as i'm singing.
Thunder and lightning; didn't know our love would end this way.
You got your way, we're to blame, but that's o.k.;
Another time, another place, it's one more game.
After all is said and done, we'll overcome
The psychological setback of a time on the run.
It hurt to see you play games that were so one-sided.
I dealt the cards but the aces were in your back pocket.
Thunder and lightning won't let you alone 'til i'm paying.
Thunder and lightning; didn't know our love could end this way.

WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?
I was watching my TV one night when they broke in with a special report
About some devastating earthquake in Peru
There were thirty thousand crushed to death, even more were buried alive
On the Richter scale it measured 8.2
And I said, "God, please answer me one question...
Why'd they have to interrupt The Simpsons just for this?"
What a drag, 'cause I was taping it and everything
And now I'll have to wait for the rerun to see the part of the show I missed
Why does this always happen...
Why does this always happen to me?
Why does this always happen...
Why does this always happen to me?
I was driving down the highway when all the traffic slowed to a crawl
There was a 12-car pile-up, everybody dead
And I saw brains and guts and vital organs splattered everywhere
As well as my friend Robert's disembodied head
And I thought - Poor Rob, I just had lunch with him
Hey, wait a minute, he still owes me money . what a jerk
Well, there's five bucks that I'm never gonna see again
Plus now, on top of everything else, it looks like I'm gonna be late to work
Oh, why does this always happen...
Why does this always happen to me?
Why does this always happen...
Why does this always happen to me?
Oh, the other day my boss said we were running low on toner
And he told me I should buy another case
Well, I told him I was busy, but he still just kept on asking
So I turned around and stabbed him in the face
Oh, and wouldn't you know it?
My knife got stuck
I guess that's probably bound to happen now and then
But I'm afraid I may have bent the tip a little
And I know the blade will never ever be quite as sharp again
Oh tell me, why does this always happen...
Why does this always happen to me?
Why does this always happen...
Why does this always happen to me?
Why does this always happen to me?
Why does this always happen to me?

Accidents Can Happen
Theres a side of you, could bring on homicide
But livin in a cell changes my view
Maybe your automobile could lose its right front wheel
It happens every day, it could be you
Look back over your shoulder, when you think youre alone, youre not
Each noise, every shadow, look out!
Chorus:
Accidents can happen, its always in the news
Accidents can happen to you
You read it in the paper, you see it on the tube
Accidents can happen
To you
A little haitian doll, that looks a lot like you do
A little powdered poison in your tea
Electricity, invisible to see, Id like to introduce you to mr. e
A malfunction, who would notice, machines and things get hot
A permanent vacation can be bought
Chorus - look out!
(solo)
Accidents can happen, accidents can happen, accidents can happen to you
Chorus - accidents can happen, accidents can happen - look out!

Things Happen For Their Reasons
Things happen for their reasons.
And there is no need to make excuses,
For the obviousness...
Of those mistakes made.
Things happen for their reasons.
And,
What is there to say...
That can excuse mistakes away.
Stop that need to medicate.
Things happen for their reasons.
Why waste time in prolonged debates.
Thing happen for their reasons.
What is the purpose for seeking escapes.
Things happen for their reasons.
Acceptance eases,
The facing of one's fate.
Things happen for their reasons.
They happen for their reasons.
Stop that need to feed on grief.
Things happen for their reasons.
Why squeeze a healing wound to bleed.
Things happen for their reasons
They happen for their reasons.
And aging doesn't make one safe.
Or offer escapades as a gateway to charade.
Things happen for their reasons.
They happen for their reasons.
Things happen for their reasons.
And there is no need to make excuses,
For the obviousness...
Of those mistakes made.
Even while one ages,
With a life reminisced played on many stages...
Try their best to gracefully accept,
Things happen for their reasons.
And those experienced,
Eventually see this.
Things happen for their reasons.
And in the living of one's life...
A discovery reveals,
Those reasons with insight.

Our Dave
Here is a tale about my brother,
The one who beats the skins;
From earliest days he thumped and tapped
On table-tops and tins.
When bought a tiny metal drum
His face beamed with delight;
He rapped it with his wooden sticks
From morn' 'til noon 'til night.
No power on earth could slow him down
His destiny was sealed:
His drumming was to be his life,
No other course appealed.
His hyper-active ways, it seemed,
Were suited to his choice
Of instrument... he'd make his mark
With sticks, and not with voice.
And so he has, and still goes on
Improving all the time;
Refining each and every note
Until it sounds sublime.
It's true to say he's older now
And settling down a bit;
But still there is that need of his
To drum, he'll never quit.
He'll drum on to the bitter end,
The beat is in his blood;
He's gone from strength to strength you see
And now he is so good.
This tale about a drummer
Is getting near the end;
This tale about 'our Dave, '
My brother and my friend;
I have to say I miss him,
But I'm happy that I find,
He's overcome the handicap
Of being almost blind.
