Where there's always trouble,

Now that the year is growing kind of old
when the true story of Jesus we are told,
we are living up to a day of giving
while daily we hear joyful birds singing
as when they did that child once behold,

while to others we bring some happiness
like messengers of God we try to bless,

How many troubles
have come your way?
Do those troubles have you say?
'Oh, not another one,
Why me Lord'
It's just not fair.
They've cut my silver cord.

Does your head get weary?

Then you've just kept pace
with the human race.

Sacred grove for M lady Lucianne

Above my head tree branches intertwine
to form a leafy canopy
through which the silvery moon light can shine
if only intermittently.
A lasting sense of peace pervades this place.
As if some sacred spirit rules.
Your troubles disappear and leave no trace.
The trees are her most willing tools
deep rooted in the earth they stand.
Living slow growing monuments
who knows what mysteries they understand

Of kings and days of old,
But theres no england now.
All the wars that were won and lost
Somehow dont seem to matter very much anymore.
All the lies we were told,
All the lies of the people running round,
Theyre castles have burned.
Now I see change,
But inside were the same as we ever were.
