There's so much negative imagery of black fatherhood. I've got tons of friends that are doing the right thing by their kids, and doing the right thing as a father - and how come that's not as newsworthy?

For some reason I did something where I realized I could get a reaction. That was when I broke out of my shell at school, because I really didn't have any friends or anything like that and I just kind of was going along, and then finally I did this zany thing, and all of a sudden I had tons of friends.

‘father”:
'A FATHER IS SOMEONE WHO'S THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEED HIM
A FATHER NEVER LETS YOU DOWN
A FATHER IS SOMEONE THERE TO HUG YOU WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
A FATHER IS THERE TO DRY UP THE TEARS
A FATHER IS THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TALK TO
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO LEAVES THE MOTHER WHEN HE FINDS OUT SHE'S PERGANT
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO DENYS THEIR OWN CHILD
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO LEAVES YOU LEFT BEHIND
A FATHER IS'NT SOMEONE WHO SAYS ONE THING TO ONE PERSON THEN SAYS ANOTHER THING TO SOMEONE ELSE
A FATHER IS’NT WHAT I SEE IN YOU”

Man is fortunate.
Father is known only among humans.
Man enjoys fatherhood and finds his kids.
He loves to earn and leave for progeny.
Other animals are unfortunate creatures.

Thank God For Kids
If it weren't for kids have you ever thought
There wouldn't be no Santa Clause
Look what the store just brought
Thank God for Kids
We'd all live in a quiet house
Without Big Bird or a Mickey Mouse
And Kool-aid on the couch
Thank God for Kids
Thank God for kids there's magic for a while
A special kind of sunshine in a smile
Do you ever stop to think? or wonder why?
The dearest thing to Heaven is a child
Daddy how does this thing fly?
A hundred other where's and why's
You really don't know but we try
Thank God for Kids
When you look down in those trustin eyes
That look to you, you realize
Its love that you can't buy
Thank God for Kids
Thank God for there's magic for a while
A special kind of sunshine in a smile
Do you ever stop to think? or wonder why?
The dearest thing to Heaven is a child
When you get down on your knees tonight
To thank the Lord for his guiding light
And pray they turn out right
Thank God for Kids

People go behind your backs takes all

Will we ever have peace

( Verse 1 )
Wanna know what I see on the block
Kids playin hearin' gun shots
Never phased by the crime that they witness
Follow me and come and see how we got this way
Young mama right there
Dont be cursin at your kids right there
Put the right foundation right here
So they can be

Here's the thing - I'm single, I haven't been married, I don't have kids yet. If I do have kids I would be interested to see them in my life, so here's a movie for kids and I'm in there and I'm supposed to be kind of funny for kids.

Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You
I don't look good in no Armani Suits
No Gucci shoes - or designer boots
I've tried the latest lines from A to Z
But there's just one thing that looks good on me
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you
I'm not satisfied with Versace style
Put those patent leather pants - in the circular file
Sometimes I think - I might be lookin' good
But there's only one thing that fits me like it should
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you
Ya it's you - it could only be you
Nobody else will ever do
Ya baby it's you - that I stick to
Ya we stick like glue
The only thing I want
The only thing I need
The only thing I choose
The only thing that looks good on me...is you

Father Boy
Oh Father Boy, Oh Father Boy
You didn’t see the signs
You didn’t hear a thing did you
Oh Father Boy, my dear
You didn’t see, you didn’t look, you didn’t listen either
You didn’t try to understand
You didn’t take the time
You weren’t a Father, Father Boy, you weren’t a Father, Father.
Oh Father Boy, Father Boy
When a Father has a Boy
To be a Father, Father see
You have to see the Boy
The Boy inside the Father
And the Father in the Boy
But Father Boy, Oh Father Boy
You just didn’t pay attention
For a Boy to be a Father, Father
He cannot be a Father Boy.

Same Thing Over
You say you're going to turn a leaf.
But it's the same thing over.
You say you're going to release your grief.
But it's the same thing over.
You say no more to jumping through hoops.
You say you're going to do what you choose.
You say you're going to be free and loose...
But it's the same thing over.
You say you're picking up more speed.
But it's the same thing.
You say new rhythms you now beat.
But it's the same thing.
You say more of life you will see...
But it's the same thing over.
You say more of life you will see.
But it's the same thing!
It's the same thing.
Same thing you will bring into your life,
Until it's over.

Hot Thing
Hot thing!
Hot thing, barely 21
Hot thing, looking 4 big fun
Hot thing, whats your fantasy?
Do u wanna play with me?
Hot thing, baby u dance so good
Hot thing, baby I knew u would
Hot thing, tell me what u see
Hot thing, when u smile, when u smile, when u smile
Are your smiles, are your smiles 4 me?
Hot thing, maybe u should give your folks a call
Hot thing, tell them youre going 2 the crystal ball
Hot thing, tell them youre coming home late,
If youre coming home at all
Hot thing, tell them u found a brand new baby doll
Hot thing, I cant wait 2 get u home
Hot thing, where we could be alone
Hot thing, I could read u poetry,
And then we could make a story of our own
Hot thing
Hot, hot, hot thing
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, barely 21
Hot thing, looking 4 big fun
Hot thing, whats your fantasy
Hot thing, dont u wanna play with me?
Hot thing, hot thing
Hot thing, I cant wait 2 get u home
Hot thing

A Beautiful Thing
A beautiful thing
Is the life that God gave to us
A beautiful thing is the men like us
Because God create the men
To get married and have an also to have children
Together with his wife that he decides to marry and live the rest of his life With
A beautiful thing
Is the music that singers gave to me so that I can have a better life
Why?
Because singers are people just like me
And their music heals me and othe people
A beautiful thing for the ones that are sick for a long time
Is death
Because when death arrives to the ones that are sick they don't suffer Anymore
But it is not worth to live life when the ones that are sick are sick
Because it is a constant worry about who will take care of the ones that are Sick
And also their are constant worries if the one that os sick have any kids
Because they have to think of who will take care of their kids when they Will die
And I don't doubt for a moment that they won't miss their loved one if it is their mother or their father
Why?
Because the one that is sickis their mother
And you raised them from birth to grown up
And what is next?
I can't say what is next because I don't live their lives
And I will worry about my life
And nobody else's life
Because all the dreams that I am having now belongs to my life
Why do I talk so much about life now?
Because I am thinking about life now
And I am enjoying every second in my life
Because every second in my life counts because the hour keeps passing
And I keep enjoying it
A beautiful thing is that I am one adult
And that I can do things that pleases me with limitations
A beautiful thing is that I am the captain of God's ship
But I am also the master of God's soul
And God is the master of my destiny
But where my destiny will end I don't know
Because only God knows where my destiny will end
A beautil thing is the rain
Because it comes down from the sky and water our garden that is Outside of our houses
A beautiful thing is the soap that removes the dirt from my body and Makes it clean
A beautiful thing is the clothes that keeps my body dressed all day

Black-eyed Susan
Black-eyed susan
You make us nervous
Because were very aware that you do not care
Oh, black-eyed susan
What dont you believe in ?
No is always easier than yes
Whoo !
Black-eyed susan
You must insist :
You are a born-again atheist, oh
Oh, heavy-rings on
Bitten fingers
Black-eyed susan sometimes
Shakes to break
So, watch it
Oh ...
Black-eyed susan
Rest and do nothing
cause its the only thing that you do quite well
Aah ...
Black-eyed susan
Rest and do nothing
cause its the only thing that you do quite well
Aah ...
Black-eyed susan
Rest and do nothing
cause its the only thing that you do quite well
Aah ...
Black-eyed susan
Please remember
We were the first
We were the first
Oh ...

I, I should've been listening
To every word you said
Oh, what have I been missing
Wishing, wishing that you were dead
I didn't mean to be so disturbing
So far from home
Oh, what have I been learning
By being all alone
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
(Is gonna) Just tears you apart
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
(Is gonna) Just tears you apart
When, when we were younger
Sleep while I'm awake
I was trying to keep the door locked
I realize that's a mistake
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing that you do
Seems so much better than I could do
Oh, I shouldve been listening
To every word you said
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing
Every little thing
Every little thing
Is gonna tear you apart (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Is gonna tear you apart
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Every little thing (it's gonna)
Is gonna tear you apart
It's gonna
It's gonna
It's gonna tear you apart
It's gonna
It's gonna
It's gonna tear you apart

I'm a thing
I’m a thing
A thing to do
A thing to make
A thing for you
To cast and remake
I’m a thing
For this world to sing
A thing to take
A thing to leave
A thing to break
A thing to grieve
I’m a thing
For this world to do
For this world to make
A thing for you
A thing of blue

Do The Right Thing
Once you told me you were gonna love me
That it was meant to be and theres no other way
Then came someone showed you more fun
Weve had a good run better think it over
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Hes got a good line, shows you a good time
Did he change your mind guess its your move
Ill lose my pride Id even step aside
Honey you really must decide whos best for you
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
You might chose me or chose to lose me
Someday youll see the good thing you had
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Do the right thing baby do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
Go with your heart and do the right thing
