It was nice, though, to have the long term benefit to be able to pare away those things and eventually make the character my own and put my own unique stamp.

The problem with the person who thinks he's a long-term investor and impervious to short-term gyrations is that the emotion of fear and pain will eventually make him sell badly.

What's most interesting and most real to me in my work is to never make the role a complete character, because then you lose a part of the truth. I can't say that this person is just like this or like that. Because you can never do that with real people in real life, so if you try that on stage you lose the truth. Since I myself strive to be able to be a great many things, I also want my character to have that very same liberty. Eventually in that way it will add to a sort of completeness. But it is the story that is told that is the interesting thing and the situations the character is in. And as we humans always are shaped by a special situation or given circumstances, I can never ever say: Thus is my character.

Be Nice To Me
No catch, no strings
None of the usual things
Im happy just to lay and look
Lets throw out the book
Now were off the hook
And please just be nice to me
Wont you be nice to me
So tired, so sad
So sick of being had
By everyone who comes along
Would it be so wrong
If you played along
And please just be nice to me
And would it bring you down if I hang around
Just be nice to me
Its been a long, long time since I felt so fine
And I know your love is fine
I know whats on your mind but
Dont laugh, dont cry
Dont make me wonder why
Youre doing what youre doing now
Cant you see somehow
Its the wrong time now
So please just be nice to me
You know I aint in heat
And it would feel real neat
If you would just be nice to me
Come on think of me

No benefit
No benefit
No benefit.
You are cooking
You are eating
You are sitting
You are meeting.
No benefit
No benefit.
No body is there
To share
You have not
Shared anybody.
No benefit
No benefit.

What we're going to do is redouble our efforts on financial regulatory reform, because that has in it sensible things like say on pay, so at least the shareholders are minding the store, sensible things like saying, for heaven's sakes, compensation should be focused on - on long term, so that you don't have rewards for short-term risk-taking.

Sonnet: Postal Stamp History
Sonnet: Postal Stamp History
The postal stamp started in England (1840)
And was destined to spread around the world.
It would soon reach as far as Brazil,
As the momentum continued to swirl.
It reached the United States of America
In the year of eighteen-forty five.
And a winner throughout the centuries
The postal stamp is very much alive.
The price of the first stamp was one cent.
But today, it would cost forty-four
And with so many rate hikes in between,
I am very sure that there will be more.
And as long as there is mail to send,
The postal stamp will never come to end.

An Sos Stylistic Message
Style
is a too shallow a term
trying to capture
what is unique in each individual creative personality
it’s a language invented simulacrum
pushing frees spirits into too many ‘isms
too bad there’s no better term
help info if you manage to find one

Dirty Four Letter Word
In this age of technology, profitability and such
There just isn't time to be nice very much.
Besides what does it get you when you try to be nice?
Honking from behind? Hand gestures once or twice?
Lately have you seen a person let someone go first?
What did you do the last time your role was reversed?
Billions are spent to sell all the things you see.
But being nice costs nothing; it’s absolutely free.
Yet being nice has the power to win over everyone.
All will marvel from its spell since it’s seldom done.
Sadly, each day seems colder as an ill wind does blow.
History tells us that this route is a tragic way to go.
Though there is hope if all try to do their part
To be kind in word and deed directly from the heart.
Only then can we expect a world not so absurd
That now seems to label the term “nice”
A dirty four lettered word!

If In The Acquisition Made
What benefit is there to things,
If in the acquisition made...
Not one touch from them they bring.
Or a pair of eyes caught,
Making a passing glance.
What benefit is there to flaunt,
That which one has...
Believed others want.
Although dauntless in appearance,
Is the the one who flaunts unnoticed.
And if one has tired of a charade,
Where does one go...
To validate satisfaction done,
From a masquerading others shun.
Although impeccably dressed to impress.
What benefit is there to things,
If in the acquisition made...
Not one touch from them they bring.
And no caring is there to share,
Romanced to be enhanced from anyone anywhere.
What benefit is there?
When the expense of getting attention,
Doesn't make sense without a dividend to please.
Or noticed received by someone teased.
Or at least pretending to be caught up in the moment.

One Day
I've often used
As well as heard
Others speak of
The term, one day
Well, the term of
One day manesfested
Into sheer reality the
Other day
All that I long and awaited
For had surely come
My way
So as of today, I have
A greater confidence
Regarding the future
As well as the plans,
Also the things that I say

Accept, you are the wildest, right?
If you term a person ‘wild’
You mean that person is unreasonable
You mean that person reacts violently
You mean that person is unpredictable
You mean that person is unsociable
And you term us ‘wild’
Yes, I am representing that group of animals,
Who live in natural environment.
We go by the natural law ‘survival of the fittest’
We are simple and we never show up we are wise or smart
We live the present only, we know there is nothing called future
We eat only when we are hungry
We live only with those comforts nature has provided
We do not cheat or misrepresent facts
We make homes with available natural materials
We do not amaze wealth
We do not hoard anything
We kill only when we are hungry and eat the flesh then and there
We do not, however, kill our own tribe
And you call us ‘wild’
You are wise, learned and know many things
You make laws and you know how to break them without being caught
You amaze wealth for the comfort of your off-springs
You are worried more about future
Than being particular enjoying the present
You harness natural powers for your benefit
And you say this is just add to your comforts
You make use of every thing nature has provided
And manipulate them to match you needs
You experiment on us, not for our benefit
And claim that such experiments will help human beings
You kill us for pleasure,
Not always because you are hungry and need our flesh
Why you kill your own people
And say you are protecting your nation, tribe, faith or religion
With this great background you call us ‘wild’
If you insist we agree to be branded as ‘wild’
Provided, you accept
That you are ‘wildest’

I Better Be Good
If I ain't cool
My daddy gonna send me
To Military School
If I ain't nice
My girlie gonna freeze me
With cold shoulder ice
If I'm real late
My teacher gonna use me
For alligator bait
So, I better be good
I better be good
If I jump on the gas
The cops are gonna jump
All over my back
If I smoke too much
Doctor says he's gonna
Put my lungs in a crutch
If I'm caught without my pants
Consuelo's dad is gonna shoot
Until he sees me dance
So, I better be good
I had better be good
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - Uh, uh, uh, uh
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice
You better be nice tonight
If I spray it on the seat
Lady gonna tie a big knot
In the meat
If I spewey too fast
Lover's gonna stick
My Wrangler in a cast
If zipper grabs skin
I'll know I had it out
When I shoulda kept it in
Ow.
I better be good
I better be good
I better be good
Ooh.
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
You better be nice
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - you better be
Nice, nice, nice - Uh, uh, uh, uh
Nice, nice, nice
I'd better be nice tonight - yeah
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice
Nice, nice, nice

I wonder how far
I wonder how far
our relationship
in your heart is over,
when I still get nice kisses
from you
Maybe a little space
is all that you need
and contact
must only be in nice embraces.
To much lies between us
and ironically
my sacrifices make
that in a way
you become my girlfriend again
and still I do not know
where everything is going
and maybe
it doesn’t really matter anymore.
Maybe we must let the nice being together
stretch longer
and draw a line
through all the painful things
and start every thing
all over again.
Maybe things will be better
where I now have to act
totally independent
and it’s true
that in a way
you still have the capacity
to let me be a better man,
than I can on my own
and the feelings and emotions
that I read in your eyes
nothing and nobody
can make undone.

Splendid Treasure
Sometimes I think and try to find
What brings pleasure to my mind
And what is that feels so nice
And makes me to do it twice
And then I think the best thing
That can to all joy bring
Is to say nice words of cheer
To make someone feel he's cared
And another thing is to do
Nice and good things dear too
And make others happy 'n smile
And spread care's joy around miles
And these things are splendid treasure
That gives to all joy and pleasure
And that's why its good 'n nice
To do them without thinking twice.

All About Her
Let me practice this before I say it to you
I know it might come out wrong but I want it to
Another chance to fight
Another way to make it right
So forget all of your chances
Its up to you to follow through
Forget the way she was
Cause its the things she does that make me
Sing about her
She knows I care about her
She said be gentle boy
You show a lack of character
Let me work this out
Before I come back to you
I know you
Sometimes hate the stupid things I do
Another lonely night
Another way to make it right
So forget al of your chances
Its up to you to follow through
Forget the way she was
Cause its the things she does that make me sing about her
She knows I care about her
She said be gentle boy
You show a lack of character
There is no other way this girl is so all about me
Im sorry I cant help the way
Cause its the things she does that make me
Sing about her
She knows I care about her
She said be gentle boy
You show a lack of character.
