I say I don't need a tax cut. It will not do me any more good. I can't buy more, I can't eat more, I can't do more, and I want it distributed among the ordinary people who work every day.

She Ain't Your Ordinary Girl
(Robert Jason)
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
She don't love carelessly that's what I've always heard
'Can't use the usual lines she measures every word
No empty promises proof is what it takes to win her heart
The truth and nothing less, simple things that set her far apart
Save your diamonds and your furs she's not your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary, no she's not
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary, oh no
She ain't your ordinary girl
No midnight alibis, no foolish games for her
And if you cross the line you'll get what you deserve
But when you see her smile nothing seems to matter anymore
And in a little while you'll feel like you've never felt before
Like no other in the world, she's not your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary, no she's not
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary, oh no
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
Save your diamonds and your furs, she ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary
She ain't your ordinary girl
She ain't your ordinary

I think if you touch ordinary people, they're simply ordinary people, the way they've always been. They work hard, they don't have really as much as they should.

Ordinary People And
Ordinary people and extraordinary work
Extraordinary people and ordinary work
Nobody is here called classical hero
Nobody is here to admire to called brave.
Life is no love story as called for
No work is there called glory
Life is life and it is fib it is fibre
Life is not fete that need fiat.

Steeple
I see ordinary people
pouring in and out of steeples
living ordinary lives
learning ordinary lies
they learn; they earn - life passes by
they buy; they die - they never ask, 'WHY? ! '

Look What The Good People Done
They were drinkin his wine
They were usin his name
They were takin the time to take
His name in vain
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
They were havin their fun
Look what the good people done
Well, the good people say things that they
Dont really mean
They look so convincing cause theyre
So squeaky clean
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
Its a million to one
Look what the good people done
They (? put him on walkin down ? ), they said,
Lets go on with the show
And they pad him on whiskey and say, boy,
Youve got to go
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
Hes (? on the highway ? ) to none
Look what the good people done
All the newspaper men
They were lookin for names
Pulled him out of a hat
They needed someone to blame
Look what the good people done to him
Look what the good people done to him
He thought he was the one
Look what the good people done
Well, the good people say,
Keep your nose to the ground
Then theyll build you right up
Just to knock you right down
Look what the good people done to you
Look what the good people done to you
They were gettin their kicks
Look what the good people nixed
[spoken - here we go]
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
Look what the good people done to me
They were havin no fun
Look what the good people done

When Good People Become Friends
When Good People Become Friends
Things work better.
Things work together
Things work out.
When Good People Become Friends
Listening become hearing
seeing become insight
Attention becomes nurture.
When Good People Become Friends
Generosity becomes sharing
Sacrifices become pleasures
Rightful obedience becomes an uncommon delight.
When Good People Become Friends
Joys become happiness
Comfort becomes peace
Needs become an abundance.
When Good people Become Friends
Acquaintances become friendships
Concern becomes caring
Likenesses become divine love.
When Good People Become Friends
Traveling becomes a journey
Endeavors come into fruition
Living becomes Life.
When Good People Become Friends
Gifts become blessings
Blessings become anointings
Anointings become endowments.
When Good People Become Friends
Love becomes power
Weaknesses become strength
And death, Death becomes a new birth.
When Good People Become Friends.

I usually write about ordinary people and ordinary things, but Paul Farmer is the least ordinary person I've ever met... He's the leader of a small group of people who hope to cure a sick world, and I hope my book can help in some small way.

Noble and Genleman
You are not messiah, messenger or angel
Simple man on earth written in fairy’s tale
I salute to your great work but made never known
You stand as shining star and absolutely well known
People say “you are noble and gentleman”
To them you are simple and ordinary man
I know you do nothing extra ordinary
But remain among them when necessary
You are neither a social worker nor a religious person
Yet loved by them and held in high esteem by various reasons
You gave nothing of any kind that might have benefited them
Still more and more plants were coming out from stem
Why and how such transformation has taken place?
You have no personal interest or any ambition to chase
Why do the people see in you great reformer?
Where as you work little and act as only informer
You remain close their heart and guide on small matters
May be concerning to them as little earners
Still there is strong bond and you convey with sincerity
What can be good for them in terms of good quality?
Some of the people may know everything but disclose little
This may land people in problems and don’t allow to settle
They won’t trust other people who do nothing and misguide
Cheat and deceive when time comes and politely hide
You stood among them as torch bearers
Not serious leader but as respectable teacher
Not recognized from any of the big universities
But simple thinker with noble turn out and niceties
World may not take note of you at large
But you have made place in people’s heart
You may not receive noble prize or any of the reward
Millions of heart may raise their hands as award
Let your statues not come up to be unveiled
Let your work may be forgotten or failed
Still that may be widely recognized when time comes
They may shed tears in recognition and welcome

Superman Is Dead
Do you worry that you're not liked
how long till you break
You're happy cause you smile
but how much can you fake
an ordinary boy, an ordinary name
but ordinary's just not good enough today
Now who
Alone I'm thinking
why is superman's dead
is it in my head
we'll just laugh instead
worry about the weather and
whether or not you should hate
now you worried about your faith
kneel down and obey
you're happy you're in love
you need someone to hate
an ordinary girl, an ordinary waist
but ordinary's just not good enough today
Alone I'm thinking
why is superman's dead
is it in my head
we'll just laugh instead
you worry about the weather and
whether or not you should hate
Doesn't anybody ever know
that the world's a subway

Ordinary People
Ordinary people just dont comprehend
Ordinary people just dont seem to comprehend
The thing you feel they dont even know about
Cut yourself, that never did you no good
You cut yourself, that never did you no good
Nobody watching you, you gotta take care of yourself
Real thing....
When I came down your avenue
Blew you every
Blew you every which way
When I came down your avenue
Bloo hoo hoo you ever which way
Nobody watching you, you gotta take care of yourself
Ordinary people they just dont seem to comprehend
No they dont
Ordinary, everyday people just dont, just dont seem to comprehend
No they dont
Then you feel they dont, they dont, they dont even
Even, even know, even know about..

whatever is good
belongs to the people
the people is the only
good there is
so? work as usual
the people are coming
and you must open
the doors
and serve their
needs
one must go where
the good is
one must march for
the people
let the one who is in power
be beleaguered
let heads roll
let the people have the toll
i am for the people
they are the only good
that we have
the people has decided
your fate
and now you must
gently yield
and accept.

A little extra, from an extra ordinary woman
She goes out of her way and travels that extra mile
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She consoles you, smiles with you, cries with you and for you
A little extra than anyone else
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She spends on you a little extra than she does on her own self
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She uses her extra strength and wisdom to pick you up when you fall
She blinds her sight to your imperfections
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She loves you a little extra just to stand out different
From all those who love you
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She starves herself so that you may eat a little extra
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She forgives you all the time
Even when you guilty mind knows you don’t deserve such kindness
Because she is an extra ordinary woman
She may not be the most perfect woman but
She is indeed an extra ordinary woman
She is your mother, your wife, your fiancee, your girlfriend
Your sister, your grandmother and your daughter
You best appreciate her

In my daily work, I work on very large, complex, distributed systems built out of many Python modules and packages. The focus is very similar to what you find, for example, in Java and, in general, in systems programming languages.

In the long run, a society's strength depends on the way that ordinary people voluntarily behave. Ordinary people matter because there are so many of them. Voluntary behavior matters because it is hard to supervise everyone all the time. … Successful societies — those which progress economically and politically and can control the terms on which they deal with the outside world— succeed because they have found ways to match individual self-interest to the collective good. The behavior that helps each person will, as a cumulative ethos, help the society as a whole.

In The Age Of Celebrity Worship
In the age of celebrity worship our own small gods we do create
And mortals like ourselves in the flesh we worship and celebrate
People who are good at golf and tennis and various other games of ball
We give them their big egos though pride can come before a fall
We look up to wealthy people and those of privileged birth and give to politicians power
And in the presence of the dictator they've created a Nation's people cower
We give big egos to strangers people we may never meet
At the table that they dine at we will never have a seat
Yet the unsung heroes of our town we choose for to ignore
He is just an ordinary fellow the bloke who lives next door
But he helps his wheelchair bound neighbour without asking for reward or pay
And for someone in need in the neighbourhood he does a good deed every day
But we see him as an ordinary bloke and his praises are unsung
Many of our heroes are quite dashing and competitive and young.

If Youve Got Love
(steve seskin/mark d. sanders)
If youve got faith
And you believe in what youre living for
You can stand your ground when the devils at your door
And a little hope can help you when the road is getting rough
But theres nothing quite like life if youve got love
If youve got love you can move a mountain
A little bit further down the line
You can do it all at once or one rock at a time
You can turn an ordinary picture into a priceless work of art
Its what you can do if youve got love in your heart
Now theres nothing like a real good friend
To tell your troubles to
But theres just so much a real good friend can do
cause it takes anothers touch to chase the darkest blues away
If youve got love youve got what it takes
If youve got love you can move a mountain
A little bit further down the line
You can do it all at once or one rock at a time
You can turn an ordinary picture into a priceless work of art
Its what you can do if youve got love in your heart
If youve got love you can move a mountain
A little bit further down the line
You can do it all at once or one rock at a time
You can turn an ordinary picture into a priceless work of art
Its what you can do if youve got love in your heart
Its what you can do if youve got love in your heart
(if youve got love) you can move a mountain
Further down the line
You can do it all at once or one rock at a time
You can turn a picture into a priceless work of art...

How Many People
How many people stand in a line?
How many people never get a chance to shine?
If you can tell me Ill gladly listen
How many people have died?
One too many right now for me
I want to be happy, I want to be free,
One too many tight now for me
I want to see ordinary people living peacefully.
How many people, go for a ride
How many people, never make it through to the other side?
If you can tell me, Ill gladly listen,
How many people have cried?
One too many right now for me
I want to be happy,
I want to be free,
One too many tight now for me
I want to see ordinary people living peacefully.
How many people, will I take? how many people
For goodness sake?
How many people?
How many people?
One too many ...

You have to work?
Work work work
Work work work
Work work work
The life clock ticks!
Work work work
Heart beat gives the same rhythm?
You breath
You walk
You eat
You sleep
To the same annoying tune!
If you work
You get that shiny colored paper notes
with the portrait of bygone handsome Presidents!
and if you don't work, fired black & white certificate receive by ordinary mail.
No money,
No Honey?

Ordinary Fool
Only a fool
Like fools before me
I always think with my heart
Only a fool
That same old story
Seems I was born for the part
Its a lesson to be learned
And a page I should have turned
I shouldnt cry but I do
Like an ordinary fool
When his ordinary dreams fall through
How many times
Have I mistaken
Good looks and laughs for bad news?
And how many times
Have I mistaken
Good looks and laughs for the blues?
When a road I walked before
Ends alone at my front door
I shouldnt cry but I do
Like an ordinary fool
When his ordinary dreams fall through
When a road I walked before
Ends alone at my front door
I shouldnt cry but I do
Like an ordinary fool
When his ordinary dreams fall through
