The first approximation in this future that we're looking at is that everyone will be physically well off. They will have a great abundance in material goods, and I think that will soften some of the conflicts we see now.

My God Is Special
I am physically blind...
But oh God, thanks be to you for your spiritual sight.
I am physically deaf...
But oh God, thanks be to you that
Iam able to hear your sweet, sweet voice.
I physically cannot speak...
But God, thaks be to you for knowing
And understanding all my needs.
I physically cannot walk...
But oh God, thanks be to you for leading
And guiding me in your righteous way.
Thanks be to you oh God, for letting me know
That I am special.
Because you are special to me.

A Better Person
MATERIAL RICHES MAKETH NOT THEE A BETTER PERSON,
MATERIAL RICHES MAYEST GIVE THEE QUALITY WINE,
MATERIAL RICHES MAYEST ACQUIRE FOR THEE, CHOICE VINTAGES,
MATERIAL RICHES MAYEST GIVE TO THEE, RICH AND SILKY CLOTHES,
INDEED, IT MAY GIVE THEE A COMFORTABLE ABODES AND LIFE,
INDEED, IT MAY GIVE TO THEE, ABUNDANCE IN GOLD, SILVER AND DIAMONDS
BUT MATERIAL RICHES DOST NOT MAKE A BETTER BEING OUT OF THEE,
LO, I TELL THEE THIS,
YOU IT IS, THAT CAN MAKE THYSELF A BETTER PERSON,
YES, A BETTER PERSON OF WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING,
YOU ALONE CAN SAY TO THYSELF, THIS IS GOOD AND THIS IS BAD,
YOU ALONE CAN CHOOSE TO BE A BETTER PERSON,
YES, YOU ALONE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHICH IS GOOD FOR THEE AND WHAT IS BAD FOR THEE,
THUS, YOU ALONE CAN MAKE THY WAY BETTER,
I AM A BETTER PERSON, BECAUSE I CHOSE TO BE ONE

Living In The Material World
Im living in the material world
Living in the material world
Cant say what Im doing here
But I hope to see much clearer,
After living in the material world
I got born into the material world
Getting worn out in the material world
Use my body like a car,
Taking me both near and far
Met my friends all in the material world
Met them all there in the material world
John and paul here in the material world
Though we started out quite poor
We got richie on a tour
Got caught up in the material world
From the spiritual sky,
Such sweet memories have i
To the spiritual sky
How I pray
Yes I pray
That I wont get lost
Or go astray
As Im fated for the material world
Get frustrated in the material world
Senses never gratified
Only swelling like a tide
That could drown me in the
Material world
From the spiritual sky,
Such sweet memories have i
To the spiritual sky
How I pray
Yes I pray
That I wont get lost
Or go astray
While Im living in the material world
Not much giving in the material world
Got a lot of work to do
Try to get a message through
And get back out of this material world
Im living in the material world
Living in the material world
I hope to get out of this place
By the lord sri krsnas grace
My salvation from the material world
Big ending

The Goods Gone
I know when Ive had enough
When I think your love is rough
Chorus:
The goods gone
The goods gone
The goods gone
The goods gone
The goods gone out of our love
I know its wrong
We should enjoy it, but
The goods gone
The goods gone
Once we used to get along
Now, each time we kiss, its wrong
(chorus)
Now it aint no fun
And the goods gone now
We used to love as one
But we have forgotten now
I know when Ive had enough
When I think your love is rough
(chorus)
Its gone forever

Let Me Tell You Something
do not be intimidated by what i do,
there is no sense to my work
this is plain
cooperation with boredom
and some unresolved conflicts
(i still hope conflicts have minds of
their own
and resolve their conflicts by themselves
which they call
as auto-resolution, people have a
sub-language of their own
wanting to be understood
within their circles)
do not think that i am your competitor
i must admit before you
i am not an artist at all
not even hardworking
i am clumsy and cannot even hold a pen
and if i hold it
my teacher says i am holding a hammer
(her term really is a jackhammer
since i am forceful by all means
asserting always
the wrong point, and my classmates laugh
at me
and they never had the inkling that someday
i will be a great man
sort of i can be the best mediocre in town
a nobody, a great nobody,
yes, i finally know the term
do not take me seriously for someday
i will be a great nobody
if ever i get to be
90)
now are you satisfied that i am
not threatening at all?
you see, i am just an ordinary son
to the most ordinary father
who goes to the sea
old and naked
clanging bones and dives
to the depth
with all the people saying
'Que Horror! '
it is just a splash you know
it is nothing, like the splashing frog of Basho.

Future to Future
in the future moments will
come when one person says
to another, “That was great! ”
we never know what
the future holds in store
for us-in it’s infinite
wisdom-but surely you and I
know of it’s impending arrival
some believe the future
holds great times ahead,
some believe in a bleak
fate and still others believe
unborn moments hold
a catastrophic end
me, I like to think that
maybe, just maybe, it
will all happen at the same
instance-I mean some things
will be great, some bleak,
some beginnings and some endings
“great” things will only
happen in the future, because
of now, and that’s tough enough
to decipher-so I will plead, now,
and leave the future to the future

It's better to have lots of children than to have lots of material goods.
From the early days of European migration to America, in the 17th Century, the prototype of buildings was based on English precedent, even if mostly translated into the locally available material in abundance: timber.

Not My Goddess
Unspoken
Unbroken
Remains nothing
Verbally
Remains something
Physically
As long as words don't follow
And there are no documents
Of our secret connection
Then it does not exist
But like a god
I shall have faith in it without the material proof
Your not my goddess
Your my fellow believer

Catch 22
If I seem nervous will you show me what to do
And does the world deserve us, application rushing through
A long time coming, yes it's been a long time coming
And my loving you is a place where I surrender
In my heart it's not hard to do
And all my worldly goods I give to you
We close our eyes and chase away the sorry things
You make it easy for me life is but a dream
Cried on your shoulder
Dove into the great blue yonder
And my loving you is a place where I surrender
Touch my heart, it's not hard to do
And all my worldly goods I give to you
Loving you, is a place where I surrender
In my heart
No catch twenty-two
And all my worldly goods I give to you
No misdemeanor, theres a ring upon my finger
And my loving you is a place where I surrender
In my heart
It's not hard to do
And all my worldly goods I give to you
Loving you, is a place where I surrender
Touch my heart
No catch 22
And all my worldly goods I give to you
Loving you is a place where I surrender
In my heart
It's not hard to do
And all my worldly goods I give to you.

I learned how little in the way of material goods we really need, and how beautiful a simple life can be. In Romania people work with their hands every day, and you'll see an 80-year-old woman still chopping wood because she's been looking after herself all her life, and she still has the strength to do it.

Cinema is a director's medium, so you're saying, ""What do you want?"" Being an actor is about adapting - physically and emotionally. If that means you have to look great for it and they can make you look great, then thank you. And if you have to have everything washed away, then I'm willing to do that too.
