And Obama won the election.

Obama is still in the Oval office,
For s second term.

And Obama won the election.
The President needs another four years! !

Wish List (votes for sale)
It’s election time again
Picture postcards in the mail
Election time again
On every campaign trail
Election time, election time, election time
It’s election time,
A photo opportunity everywhere
Yes election time,
Cleaner streets and cleaner air,
Election time, election time, election time
In every seat across the nation
Never seen so much enthusiasm
So many nice people wanting to shake my hand
Tell me they’ll do all they can
To fill my wish list
It’s election time,
And they’re all promising to do more
Yes election time
Than they did before
Election time, election time, election time
I’d love to have a house by the sea
Handpick my neighbors to suit me
Drive a car on my own road
Free education for young and old
A health system that doesn’t tear at the seems
Throw in world peace by two thirteen (2013)

The future for our children, may hold a little pain
But who’ll bite the bullet, come election time
Election time, election time, election time

Newt Gingrich had to work hard - getting Republican candidates to sign the Contract with America - to nationalize the election that swept Republicans to victory in 1994. A Democratic anti-Tea Party campaign would do that for the Republicans - nationalize the election, gratis - in 2010.

Hamas, the opponents of Arafat, the opponents of peace, urged a boycott of the election, and yet there was an 85 percent turnout where Hamas is supposed to be strong. Isn't that really quite incredible?

One of the problems we saw in the last presidential election in our party is that our nominee, while winning the election, which we ought never to forget, often lost sight of the difference between strategy and tactics.

I think we're at a time in American history that's probably analogous to, maybe, Rome before the first emperors, when the Republic started to fall … I think if you look at the pattern of events, if you look at the disputed election of 2000, can you imagine? In America, people are trying to recount ballots and a partisan mob is pounding on the glass and threatening the counters? Can you imagine that? Can you imagine a political party which does its best to keep any representatives from another party — who've even been affiliated with another party — from getting a business job in the nation's capital? Can you imagine a political party that wants to redistrict so that its
opponents can be driven out entirely? … it's a different time in America and the Republic is — this election is about a lot more than jobs. I'm not sure everybody in America sees it right now. But I see it, I feel it.

I am fairly certain that my abortion position hurt me, because in a Democratic primary, where turnout is relatively low, liberal voters turn out in disproportionately large numbers and thus exercise a disproportionate influence on the outcome.

An Election This Year Or Maybe Next Year
Set-date elections not mentioned in political propaganda,
It could interfere with their tax and spend schedule and agenda,
They will say or do anything to avoid a set-date election,
So all set-date elections are banned to avoid rejection.
This way they can have an election when they feel the time is right,
Because no negative media had recently come to light,
But refugees by the shipload might still arrive by day or night,
Therefore no election at this time and reason to stay out of sight,
How many navy ships will they send out this time to help refugees?
In case their ship might get lost while out on the high seas,
And binding referendums and death with dignity also banned
If we had binding referendums we would be in command.
