I have always struggled to achieve excellence. One thing that cycling has taught me is that if you can achieve something without a struggle it's not going to be satisfying.

All of us are trying to achieve 100 percent in our work. That's all we struggle to do. We never do, but we never stop trying until the day we die. It's that struggle to achieve 100 percent, that's where our performance lies, that's what the audience gets. They get the struggle.

We shall never achieve harmony with land, any more than we shall achieve absolute justice or liberty for people. In these higher aspirations, the important thing is not to achieve but to strive.

If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude.

A New Hope
Just another day has begun,
For billions of souls
And the unachieved Goals
Hope is like a dream
Can make you achieve extreme
Hope gives you the strength
And reminds you that events will turn out for the best
Hope makes you believe
In all the things that you can achieve
Hope encourages you to be creative
It broadens our perspective
Hope is like a light
It takes away all the fright
Hope removes the blinders of fear and despair
All the things that can be unfair
Hope makes you see the big picture
And will always be your well wisher
Hope is essential
And it will end your entire struggle
Hope is a voice inside
And it gives you a sigh
Hope is for everyone
For you, for me and for the entire universe
Like the little engine that keep saying
'I think I can, I think I can'
Achieve more than you can plan
So let's hope for the best
And destiny will take care of the rest

Expectations To Reach Heights To Seek
Downloading a repetition of redundance,
Keeps one sufficiently supplied...
With an abundance of satisfying mediocrity.
And this observation seen...
Is encouraged.
As if in the doing this flourishes one's wisdom.
And when this becomes perceived,
As part of one's heritage kept to achieve...
Expectations to reach heights to seek,
To add to those teachings taught...
Are avoided as one awakens suddenly,
From a threatening nightmare.
'What's wrong in the teaching of our children,
A uselessness that keeps them foolish? '

Many a finer thing
Many a finer thing
~
Love is many a finer thing
than a poem could hope to achieve
but a poem is writ nether the less
to pay an ode of tribute to love
to pay it thanks and support
in the hope it lasts a lifetime
to express its beauty unrivalled
by any creation of the hand
what moves a heart in such a way
or plays the mind into such thought
love is many a finer thing
that odes and songs are sung
in the dedication of its name
love name it as it stands
to feel its touch of grace
love is many a finer thing
than a poem could hope to achieve
