Seneca brings vividly before us a picture of the various scholars assembled in a school of the philosophers.

There are successful scholars, public-spirited scholars, upright scholars, cautious scholars, and those who are merely petty men.
My opinions about human nature are shared by many psychologists, linguists, and biologists, not to mention philosophers and scholars going back centuries.

Non-working class is in minority
Wise men are in minority.
Teachers, Scholars and philosophers.
The society must value the minority
Then it will grow to prosperity.

I tried to find Him on the Christian cross, but He was not there I went to the Temple of the Hindus and to the old pagodas, but I could not find a trace of Him anywhere. I searched on the mountains and in the valleys but neither in the heights nor in the depths was I able to find Him. I went to the Caaba in Mecca, but He was not there either. I questioned the scholars and philosophers but He was beyond their understanding. I then looked into my heart and it was there where He dwelled that I saw Him He was nowhere else to be found.
Strong Arms
Frozen by the arms of strength,
The man who is a fighter fights
To the end that is bitter,
For the opponent’s arms are strong.
May a man be an opposite,
He may be even in an electric heat,
From the understandable books
He has read with electricity,
The lights were on and his eyes could see.
Fighting is frightening, but scholars
Fight for their survival,
Just as philosophers want to think
Like the opposing forces.

I've always traveled with a picture of my daughter from 1989, her kindergarten school picture, that has 'I love you, Daddy' written on it. She's always made fun of me because I never changed that picture out. It's like my resistance to her getting older. It was the first thing she'd ever written to me and it means the world to me.

School Is Not So Cool
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool
We're here 5 days a week
8 hours a day.
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool.
People laugh when we fall
we just have to make a call.
School, School, School
A school is not so cool.
We have to work hard to get good grades
I'm not going to do it no more
I do it everyday.
We cant go on the grass
We cant bother another class
We cant save spots at lunch
We have to go as a bunch.
We have 3 minutes in the hall
I'm always late what a ball.
We have to pay attention
if not we get detention.
School, School, School,
A school is not so cool.
They have to many rules
they play us as fools
if we get A's
the parents jump Hip Hip Hooray.
If we get F's
we tell them we need to take a rest.
We always have homework
we never have classwork
they have to many rules
they need to take it cool.
School, School, School,
A school is so not cool!

My Little Friend
(words & music by shirl milete)
My warped and worried mind resortd
To wandering off to ponder things I never talk about
A pretty girl I used to know but wouldnt know if we met face to face
And defying every logic known
I wish all the time machine could take me back again
To the wonder of my first love, the old folks tease me bout
Referring to her only as my little friend
Somewhere far away and maybe not so far away
The child has grown into a woman of the world
I assume just knowing that she knew so much of life at such a tender age
I learned from her the whispered things the big boys at the pool hall talk about
The thrill and disappointment, fear and shame that first love brings
But oh, how I thought I loved my little friend
The fragrance of the green grass mingled with the scent of love and warming earth
The moonlight night I kissed and cried and swore Id never touch another girl
But time moved fast and I moved on and I loved others time and time again
But with each time I thought of her and always gave a little more
Assembled love and rememberance for my little friend
Oh-oh-oh assembled love and rememberance for my little friend
Oh-oh-oh assembled love and rememberance for my little friend
Oh-oh-oh assembled love and rememberance for my little friend
