History, although sometimes made up of the few acts of the great, is more often shaped by the many acts of the small.
Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned.

Soldiers Rest
This mound of earth, now greened o'er;
Such a small plot for his large spirit.
We all come to this small space,
Or else are set free in the playful air
By those left to mourn our passing.
The small deeds of the anonymous,
Are by history soon forgotten;
Yet upon these backs great deeds were done.
Yet those who gaze down history's path,
They only see bright luminaries;
Not this simple soul who lies here now.
Beneath this bright daisy sprinkled lawn
Neath a stone that bears no name
Crumbling and grey with age
And soon to tumble into dust.

Sonnet-Life
Life's fabric has both threads of joys and woes;
You take away the woes, it will not stand;
When both in optimum scales, well it goes;
You take away the joys, you can't withstand.
Life is a battle, we do always fight;
Sometimes with others' help; sometimes alone;
The war is waged between darkness and light;
When victory comes, we laugh; if not we groan.
Small things in life do matter very much;
Small acts of kindness can purchase hearts;
Small courtesies can most cruel hearts touch;
Small acts of help to people work like darts.
Like your life and it will give you pleasure;
Love your life and it will be your treasure.

The revelations of great men
If you do something good in return,
You aren’t good; you settled a due.
If you do something good intently,
You aren’t good; you simply invested.
If you ask pardon for a fevour,
You aren’t great; it’s a strategy.
If you give pardon to one mightier,
You aren’t great with no alternatives.
If you speak truth when comfortable
And be honest when convenient
You cannot boast of yourself as great
As any mean one could do them at ease.
You aren’t great being just in matters
Where being otherwise of no advantage.
You aren’t great with the veil you’ve made
Of good deeds to hide the ill gotten.
You aren’t great with philanthropy
From the undue or unfair wealth got.
But for few, all great men may forgive me
For the revelations made of them.

Regret
It's not for laws I've broken
That bitter tears I've wept,
But solemn vows I've spoken
And promises unkept;
It's not for sins committed
My heart is full of rue,
but gentle acts omitted,
Kind deeds I did not do.
I have outlived the blindness,
The selfishness of youth;
The canker of unkindness,
The cruelty of truth;
The searing hurt of rudeness . . .
By mercies great and small,
I've come to reckon goodness
The greatest gift of all.
Let us be helpful ever
to those who are in need,
And each new day endeavour
To do some gentle deed;
For faults beyond our grieving,
What kindliness atone;
On earth by love achieving
A Heaven of our own.

Understand clearly that when a great need appears a great use appears also; when there is a small need there is small use; it is obvious, then, that full use is made of all things at all times according to the necessity thereof.

Yet such is oft the course of deeds that move the wheels of the world: small hands do them becuase they must, while the eyes of the great are elsewhere.

Mans Sins
GOD wants all man to make it to Heaven
While man is determined to send himself to Hell
As he will deny the law, that GOD gave us all
Then that road to heaven he will ultimately fail.
He ignores the laws that was set before us
Then he uses excuses why he did or must sin
But he cannot hide, from those deeds inside
As he will then marked before GOD and men.
He will think that he is rightous to one and all
As he will declare to all that his sins were a must
He will forget his sinful way, until judgement day
As his soul will be judged and his body will become dust.
Man thinks that all will forget the evils he has done
But in the end his deeds and acts they will all prevail
And he will be known, from the deeds that he has sewn
GOD gives out heaven, but man's determined to go to Hell.

Psalm 104
Oh, lord, how many are thy works!
In wisdom thou hast made them all.
The earth is full of thy possessions.
There is the sea, great and broad
In which are swarms
Without number.
Animals,
Both great and small.
Oh, lord,
Thou hast made them all.
In which are swarms
Without number.
Animals,
Both great and small.
Oh, lord,
Thou hast made them all.

Sonnet: Do Utmost Good
God, wring my heart and drain my emotions,
And let me turn them into poetry!
But let me guide people with solutions;
What’s the use of growing a fruitless tree?
God, milk my veins and let out drops of blood,
Or let it turn into my forehead sweat!
But let me leave my poems ‘fore I’m dead;
Let me thus clear Thee off my parents’ debt.
God, wring my soul: bring out my good deeds all!
Remove all stains of sin and mistakes made;
Let it be pure and ready for Thy call;
But let me do things as Thou bade/ forbade.
God, wring my mind and leave it with thoughts good;
Let them become for good deeds/ acts, a food.

Just Do Your Deeds and Be Done With It
Just do your deeds and be done with it.
Why struggle against ignorance...
When the force of it,
Can create powerful setbacks.
Just do your deeds and be done with it.
Without the need to seek attention.
Your deeds done will speak for themselves.
Leave them to do what it is to benefit!
And go.
Those living to fulfill an ego,
Will never understand...
Why their lives lived,
Have less peace in them!
Just do your deeds and be done with it.
That is all The Almighty requires.
And this 'Deity' is the judge of your soul.
No other opinion does The One solicit!
Just do your deeds and be done with it!

An act of poetry
Ruin is what we need –
Despair is what we feed
Upon in poetry
A shock resets the nerves –
Helps remould the curves
Of written art
Catharsis helps portray –
Acting out a play
On expurgation
Tears or hidden fears
Release the bottled years
To ink a page:
The pen be our salvation.

0017 Suppose it said..
Suppose it said – and, yes
it has been said, that
you were made to be
as much the same, as God,
or, The Creator – or
some other word that
means as much – were made to be
as much the same as – That -
as any human being could be; that
this, waits for you; it’s there;
cease to deny that that is so,
and then, it will be so…
suppose you hear it said; and
like the sound of it; then
close your eyes for several seconds
and open them again; but, it’s all
just the same…
suppose that at that point,
you don’t give up, with, as they say,
'a snort of derision'; but close your eyes again,
and think
I don’t remember such a big denial
all at once; how could a child
know what to deny, or why;
deny so vast a thing?
or could it rather be, a history
of many small denials? ah yes,
that seems quite possible – like
all those things that we put to one side
as – so the song goes on – ‘but not for me…’:
some few were overcome – I thought once
that riding a bike was Not For Me;
but thanks to Dad who proved me wrong,
I’ve thousands of miles of the joy of freedom
ticking on the cyclometer…
but yes, there’s much that’s labelled
Not For Me; once, poetry
was labelled, too, so great a thing
but Not For Me..
suppose a life
without self-deprivation
where all these small denials were denied,
whom would I be then? Would I be great
in so many small acceptances,
that all that life might have to offer,
should be myself? Would that be joy?
I think it could be so.

No More Praise
Once they said you were so sweet
But now they say that you are a cheat
So maybe then someday you might learn
Your deeds speak louder than any word
As you think walking down your street.
Once they said your soul was loyal
But now they say its used and soiled
So I say this to you my dear, dear friend
If you did once before you will do it again
You once had nothing but now you are spoiled.
Once they said you were knowledgeable
Now they say that you are intolerable
As you think your better than everyone else
And no one is as smart as yourself
Now your ways and acts are unpardonable.
Once they said you were very honest
But then you became very dishonest
You hid your truth as you would hide a tear
Then you made your past and deeds disappear
As then you thought you were a goddess.
Once they said you were trustworthy
But then you became uncouth and earthy
You became a person that we never knew
As inside your soul and mind evil and hate grew
Now for your salvation you will never be worthy.
Once they said you were true to the core
But now your mind is empty and your soul is poor
You had let evil and sin enter into your life
Now honesty and love is out of your sight
Statements of praises, you wont hear anymore.
