To Pain
I can give thou pain in return for pain,
Let all the love be spoiled in vain.
If there is any thing called heart, my dear,
Let it be pierced with the pain like spear.
Yet I'll say, it is this pain
In which true delight we find,
It is this pain which
Brings spring in our mind.
Our eyes be filled with tears
When we feel pique and put our hands
Into the hands of pain,
It is this pain which
In the lonely Shravan night
Causes to come down rain.
It is this pain which once teaches us love
And again teaches us indifference
When both of us forgetting each other
Go to two different ways.
(Note: `Shravan'-the fourth month of Bengali calender usually remarkable for heavy rain.)

My shattered dreams [A mele visuri]
My shattered dreams, which mind conceives,
Fill up my heart with woe again,
I see them all in the pale leaves
And in the sorrow of the glen.
In snow they will forever sleep,
Covered by time with its thick shawl,
My shattered dreams, which make me weep
And fill my heart with bitter gall!
When happy days, O, lovely trees,
Will give you back what you have lost,
The leaves that from your boughs were tossed,
In night's deep darkness still will freeze
My shattered dreams, which mind conceives!

The War Inside
this war,
brings nothing but eternal hate,
and a pain that never heals
wounds that will never seal
this war
brings a sadness to my heart
a feeling that is so dark
it takes pieces from my soul
this war will never let go
this war
is a pain
it is a loved one lost
a grave that never leaves
is a broken family,
this war
is a fight
a child caught between the crossfire of a battle called life
this is a war inside of me
a pain that will never leave
and a war is what itll always be
this war
is tears ran dry
a question, asking always why
a loneliness
a need for people that are never there
this war
like any other war
brings pain.

Let The Pain Remain
(willy cruz)
Love comes, love goes
But a certain feeling never lets me be
Somehow I know
Quite a part of mes unchanged since youve been gone
Like a sturdy tree thats seen a thousand seasons
I still shed my leaves in winter
To grow them back in spring
To welcome life again
To welcome you
So goes my life
Still believing dreams of having you around
Too bad, memories
Feed the mind and not the heart where I want you to be
So I ask myself what you have left behind for me
To go on each day to live as if
I had you once again
What else is there thats real
But all the pain that I feel?
So let the pain remain forever in my heart
For every throb it brings is
One more moment spent with you
Ill let the pain bring on the rain
If thats the only way
If theres no other way to be with you again
So goes my life
Still believing dreams of having you around
Too bad, memories
Feed the mind and not the heart where I want you to be
So I ask myself what you have left behind for me
To go on each day to live as if
I had you once again
What else is there thats real
But all the pain that I feel?
So let the pain remain forever in my heart
For every throb it brings is
One more moment spent with you
Ill let the pain bring on the rain
If thats the only way
If theres no other way to be with you again
Oooh...so let the pain remain forever in my heart
For every throb it brings is
One more moment spent with you
Ill let the pain bring on the rain
If thats the only way (if thats the only way)
If theres no other way to be with you again

The Pain I Can Control
The pain I can control
The pain that makes me whole
The pain that stops and brings some tears
The pain that erases all my fears
The pain that I inflict with this knife
The pain that might be last in my life
The pain that brought me to my knees
The pain that woahed me full of pleas
The pain that made me see the light
The pain that is bringing me home tonight
The pain that is wrong and bitter
The pain that makes me feel fitter
The pain that my friends say is wrong
The pain that makes me feel so strong
The pain that makes my friend sad, and cry
The pain that makes her want to die
The pain thats not just pain to me
The pain that makes everyone see
The pain that thats tearing me apart
The pain thats ripping apart my heart
The pain that I'm addicted to
The pain I can't give up. Not even for you..
Delight
Anytime that you fall asleep
I'm wide awake
Anytime that you leave your house
I'm waiting at the gate
I'm not angry anymore
Come on and show your soul
I'd love to hang it on the wall
Framed for me
Anytime that you smile
I know that's really you
Anytime that you laugh you know that
I'll be laughing too
But it's not funny anymore
Come on now where's your soul
Is that it crumpled on the floor
Is this blame on me
Delight Delight Delight Delight
Delight at least we know its name
Delight Delight Delight
Wouldn't it be nice to feel again
Delight Delight Delight
It's locked outside it won't be coming in
Anytime now you'll talk at least I hope you will
Anytime now you'll speak and you know
I'll be listening still
But we don't say much anymore
Come on tell it from your soul
Delight Delight Delight Delight
Delight at least we know its name
Delight Delight Delight
Wouldn't it be nice to feel again
Delight Delight Delight
It's locked outside it won't be coming in
Won't be coming in
Delight Delight

One Merry Day
One merry day confesses after us,
After we describe the goals we create,
As we consider the arguments of life.
Then well-being connives and concentrates,
Inside our minds, with fulfilment,
Without our menacing traits.
This day concerns us as we delight in it,
Yesterday conceives our ideas,
Yesterday is not tomorrow.

My Mind
The twinkle in her eyes,
the teardrops when she cries,
the sweet sound of her sighs
brings pleasure to my mind.
The moves her body makes,
the strides her walking takes,
the stretching in her morning wakes
brings desire to my mind.
The smoothness of her skin,
the amusement in her grin,
the quiver in her chin
brings memories to my mind.
My mind is filled with her.
Contentment makes me purr.
Pleasure keeps my heart stir
for she's always on my mind.

Pain - The Inside Story
Have you seen pain?
No you cannot see.
No you cannot feel.
Only the one who is suffering!
He can see pain.
All you can see is the tears from his eyes.
All you listen, his shivering scream and cries.
You just becomes witness and pray to God.
Still nothing happens and you become sad.
Pain comes to your near or dear.
Brings us more closer to your dear.
Pain comes to any neighbor or stranger.
You close your eyes and then who care.
Transform your pain into creativity.
Transform your pain into spirituality.
Then pain becomes your emotions.
This will cure all your tensions.
Let it flow from heart, instead of body.
Let it flow from soul as your creativity.
- Like words flowing as poetry.
- Like colors flowing as painting.
Then whole world seems changing.
You can see the change in geometry.
The last secret of pain is yet to tell.
Pain is heaven and also pain is hell.
Pain is north pole, pain is south pole.
In our life pain plays an important role.
Pain are two opposite shores of happiness.
One is the beginning other is the end.
One is the Sunset other is the sunrise.
One brings light other brings darkness.
Pain is reaction of our actions.
Pain is results of our 'Karmas.'
What wrong we do, pain is the byproduct.
What right we do still pain is the byproduct.
In first case pain is stored.
In final case pain is released.
Eat chilly for first time, see the pain of belly.
When chilly is released again see the pain of belly.
See the pain when you get cramp.
See the pain when you release the cramp.
This is my inside story about the pain.
I hope my words will not go in vain.

The Basic Tenets
The basic tenets of my faith
Remain, though time has blunted all
The finer points I once embraced
By casting doubts beyond my trawl.
For now a sober Saturn sets
Its nets at my small sanity,
While I remain obsessed with things
That ravage this mortality.
Time teases man a little way
Then casts him out, adrift in space
As if his grace were nothing blessed
And all his dignity but waste.
And it is this that most appals
The cultured mind, the man within
Who weaves long patterns through short dreams
That he conceives, but may not spin.
That he conceives, and yet must leave
In ruin at his final breath
While others pick his patterns clean
And tread, like him, his dreams to death.

A peace of mind...
When I wake up from my bed in the morning
My saturate eyes open slowly and welcomes the morning sun
Then I feel warm and comfortable at peace of mind
The morning smell of the earth reminds me my childhood
The wetness of flora brings me cool breeze.
I was born in this universe with peaceful nature around me
Then, I always felt that I was a star on my own brightness.
Learned, the love and kindness brings me a peace of mind
Learned, the prayers for God brings me a peace of mind
Learned, the help for helpless brings me a peace of mind
Learned, the life of peace brings me a peace of mind
When my saturate eyes close slowly and welcomes the silent night
Then I fall sleep comfortably at peace of mind while praying God
to have another peaceful day.

Hard To Swallow
We eat to live
We eat to grow
We eat to endulge ourselves,
In the greatness of food
We eat to provide comfort
We eat to be accepted
We eat as it is part,
Of our lives
Food comes in all different forms,
Shapes and sizes
It can be a bean as small as a nail
Or a christmas turkey the size of a horse
Food is a necessity
Food is a way of life
Food is enjoyed
Food is loved
But for some,
Food is despised
Eating brings pain
Eating brings weight
Eating brings illness
Eating brings hate
Eating means endless pain
A pain that wont stop,
Until the food inside,
Is forced out
Eating means weight gain and hurt
So,
It's best not to eat at all
The aching pain of hunger drifts away,
With several ibuprofein.
The battle with food is a constant struggle
To overcome the eating disorder
To take one bite,
And Swallow!

A very receptive state of mind... not unlike a sheet of film itself - seemingly inert, yet so sensitive that a fraction of a second's exposure conceives a life in it.

Ponderance of Joy
What is joy, delight?
For delight is but distraction
Escapement of life
Delight is but pleasure
Physically received
But mentally perceived
A reaction of body to outer stimuli
What is joy, delight?
When in delight
Man joy perceives
The bliss that comes
Ah joy it must be…
I look around me
What do I see…
What do I find that brings joy to me?
Not gifts not things not coin none of thee
But sharing of life with people loving me
To be content, what does it take?
What does it take to not be fake?
A spirit at rest and a soul at ease
What is this secret of life to seize?
Contentment little with money none
But seeking it such with money as means
It is as trying to walk to the sun
What brings us to peace
If at all peacelessness on earth do cease
For where desire ambition goals exist
Peacelessness persist
It just may be that peace no constant state
But fleeting moments of joy, hope, and rest
Caught between oceans of rush worry and sweat
Deep dark whirlpools
That perplexities of thought create
Ah joy… you illusive purple rose
Ever fragile ever rare
Rolling down a mount a gem
Running after, man, a chase
Always chase just sometimes caught
What would happen whilst in pursuit
We looked up
And saw the view we’re brought?

Escapism
I agree with you that attachment brings misery.
Is not it that attachment brings joy too?
If you say the absence of pain is pleasure
Can I say the pain is well discounted by the pleasure?
Rational and instinctual
minds conflict with each other.

I Wish
I wish you all the love that you can handle
I wish you the sheen that comes from a candle
I wish you all the joy that brings light to mankind
I wish all your stress would just simply unwind
I wish you all the merriment that the seasons bring
I wish you all the best of everything
I wish you pleasure that brings you thru the night
I wish you love that make this season bright
I wish the angels would always watch over you
I wish they would bless you for all the things you do
I wish you the delight in a child’s eyes
I wish this year make you wise
I wish you the wonderment of receiving a gift
I wish the lord your soul to lift
I wish the world no more pain
I wish our leaders from war refrain
I wish you ecstasy and life of elation
I wish to go all your frustration
I wish you the voice to lift when you’re singing
I wish the lost to hear the church bell ringing

Red Sky...
I cant see past the red sky at night,
that brings us such joy, and shepherds delight,
It brings us all closer and better acquainted,
better than war, or any art painted,
cause there`s truth in the sky,
and need you ask why,
because the red sky at night is never a lie,
It looks just so peaceful and ever so clean,
just like a planet where no-one has been,
So lets keep it coming, the goodness and light,
and keep on getting a red sky at night.

Cutting
First comes pain.
Then bleeding rains.
A sweet escape from this blasted shame.
Cutting away to stop the flame.
That all this saddness brings.
Fast relief when I touch the blade.
Across my skin great relese it brings.
It doesn't last for very long.
Though I'll keep doing it till the pain is gone.
To watch the blood pour from my arm.
Makes me happy with no sense of harm.
Perhaps one day I'll go too far,
and ultimatley end up buying the farm.
You can't understand this frightful charm.
If you've never done it you can't discern.
The escape you feel in cutting burns.
It takes my mind from the hurtful world.
Where I can make no sense of a single word.
This is how the truth is learned.
Cutting away with forceful turns.

Trust Yourself
(olivia newton-john)
I need to tell the truth
I cant lie anymore
I need to do whats right
I know thats what my life is for
I cant be quiet anymore
About what Im suppose to do
I need to tell the truth
And do whats right by you
I need to speak my mind
And let my heart run free
Your pain will heal with time
And one day youll thank me
And as I follow my dream
And there is no room for you
Just know there was no scheme
Its just what I had to do
Trust yourself--you know all the answers
Trust yourself--you know what is right
Trust yourself--theyre all there inside you
Theyve been there forever--just show them some light
Sometimes the truth brings pain
But broken dreams regrow
Not in the same old way
But change is life you know
And as I move on
To start my song anew
Please understand my need
To do what I have to do
Trust yourself--you know all the answers
Trust yourself--you know what is right
Trust yourself--theyre all there inside you
Theyve been there forever--just show them some light
And as life goes on
Can we still be friends?
Dont let this circumstance
Cause our friendship to end
Trust yourself--you know all the answers
Trust yourself--you know what is right
Trust yourself--theyre all there inside you
Theyve been there forever--just show them some light
I need to tell you the truth
I need to speak my mind
Sometimes the truth brings pain
Your pain will heal in time
