8 Weeks
8 weeks to live
8 weeks to die
8 weeks is all they had
8 weeks to do the things they never did
8 weeks of fighting
8 weeks of trying to fit everything in
8 weeks of pain, suffering, and confusion
8 weeks of faking a smile
8 weeks of repetition
8 weeks of knowing they were nearing the end
8 weeks of love from friends and family
8 weeks…the shortest/longest, most hurtful/helpful weeks of their lives
8 weeks later…knowing they’ll never be able to do the things they’ve always wanted to
8 weeks later…now realizing he’ll never see her walk, at graduation nor down the aisle
8 weeks later…close friends and family now in shambles
8 weeks later…close friends and family never closer
8 weeks later…here we are

State Of Confusion
Woke up in a panic,
Like somebody fired a gun
I wish I could be dreaming,
But the nightmares just begun.
Theres flooding in the basement,
Theres water all around.
Theres woodworm in the attic
And the ceiling just fell down.
Im in a state (state)
Of confusion (whooooh).
Im in a state (state)
Of confusion (whooooh).
All the dirty dishes
Are still in the kitchen sink.
The tumble dryers broken,
Now the tellys on the blink.
My girlfriends packed her bags
And moved out to another town.
She couldnt stand the boredom
When the video broke down.
Dont know why I feel so bad.
Is it the weather, or am I going mad?
Dont know why I feel this way.
I dont know whether Im coming or Im going,
Cant cover up cause its obviously showing.
Its a state (state)
Of confusion (whooooh).
Were in a state (state)
Of confusion (whooooh).
I dont know whether Im coming or Im going.
Should feel happy, should feel glad.
Im alive and it cant be bad,
But back on planet earth they shatter the illusion,
The worlds going round in a state of confusion.
Standing on an island
In the middle of the road.
Traffic either side of me,
Which way will I go?
I shouldve stayed at home,
I should have never come outside.
Now I wish I never tried
To cross the other side.
Im in a state (state)
State of confusion (whooooh).
Its a state (state)
Of confusion (whooooh).
Lyin awake in a cold, cold sweat,
Am I overdrawn, am I going in debt?
It gets worse, the older that you get.
No escape from the state of confusion Im in.
State of confusion Im in.
Whooooh

Yeah, about sixteen to twenty weeks a year. For example, we can do America in six or seven weeks. You can do Europe in three weeks; England in two weeks. South America you could do in three weeks; Asia you could do in three weeks.

11 Weeks
11 weeks of war and 11 weeks of peace,
11 weeks of love and 11 weeks of pain,
11 weeks of sorrow ans 11 weeks of my mind that writes;
But i need hot chili pepper from Chile and,
A rosted turkey from Turkey to rest my mind on your love.

What To Do When You're Confused
What to do, what to do, what to do
When you're confused
You could
Choose to stay
In this new found state
Of confusion
Marinate in it..so to speak
But
That may leave you
With unanswered questions
You could write in your journal
Pour over all the possibilities
The various solutions to your confusion
You could talk to someone who doesn't know you well
Because you'd want some impartial input
Which could leave you even more confused
Because they can only help you according to
Their understanding
Of your situation
You could google some answers
Turns out..
You can't find the answers to
EVERYTHING
On google
Some situations
Still require old methods for resolution
You could talk to a good friend
They may not have all the answers
But
They'd probably be willing to listen
Provide you with some feedback
That's what friends are for...
You could speak with the person
If it is a person indeed
Who has left you
In this state of confusion
I mean
At some point
Isn't the direct approach
Really
The Only approach
So,
You take a deep breath
You tell yourself 'here I go'
I'm going to get my answers
And, then
I'll know
I won't be confused
At least not by this confusion
What to do, what to do, what to do
I've given you some options
But, I can't tell you
What, for sure, you should definitely do
I can make a suggestion..
But, again it's up to you
You should listen to your inner voice,
Do what THAT tells you
I can say this
It's probably not as bad as you imagine
And, who knows,
It's a possibility
That
After all this stressing
You end up pleasantly surprised.
But we know for sure
You'll have all your answers
And, you, my friend
Will no longer be confused.

I Remember The Used
I remember the used,
The ones abused,
Beaten to depression,
Tears of pain,
Lost in confusion,
A world black of hate.
Crying tunes of hate,
The minds of the used,
Now filled with confusion,
Their lives abused,
A state of pain,
The chain of depression,
The memories of depression,
The faces of hate,
Weighed down by pain,
Beaten and used,
The ones abused,
lost in confusion.
The label of confusion,
On a plate of depression,
Given to those abused,
The planted seeds of hate,
A bush beaten and used,
The thorns of pain.
An orchestra of pain,
With notes of confusion,
A song called used,
Interments of depression,
Plays tunes of hate,
To those abused.
This me world abused,
My life a world of pain,
Memories of hate,
The smell of confusion,
The darkness of my depression,
A life used.
The path for the used and abused,
Confusion of those in depression,
The hate caused by pain.

Magic
When I look in your eyes
I cant see why
Theres no reflection of me
When I look in your heart
Let it be the start
Work your magic on me
When I look in your eye
I cant see why
Its all a mystery to me
When I ask you to look inside and tell me why
Nothing can change what will be
Baby work your magic on me
Baby work your magic on me
Im in a state of permanent confusion
Without your love
Without your love
Baby work your magic on me
When I look in your mind
Is there a reason why
Its all an illusion to me
I was lost in the game
That only two can play
When you work your magic on me
Baby work your magic on me
Baby work your magic on me
Im in a state of permanent confusion
Without your love
Without your love
Baby work your magic on me
What kind of love is this youre talking about
Its got no reason got no easy way out
What kind of love as got a hold of me
What kind of love
What kind of love
What kind of love
Baby work your magic on me
When I look in your eye
I can see why
Theres no reflection of me
I should have known from the start
That you would steal my heart
If you work all your magic on me
Baby work your magic on me
Baby work your magic on me
Im in a state of permanent confusion
Without your love
Without your love
I know I want to be with you tonight
Baby work your magic on me

Confusion (two)
The drama of events
And suspense of life
Lead me to confusion
But my confusion is
Better than your stupidity
Through my knowledge
I can see my confusion clearly
As it is creative and methodical too.

Confusion
The silence in my heart has built a zombie of me.
The empteness has lert me an emotionless wreckage.
The confusion brings with it dread.
Making the fall even harder.
God life can be so cruel.
Confusion of the past.
Confusion of today.
And confusion of tommorrow.
I dont no my direction.
Even though I wonder far.
My direction has no direct way.
I'm lost dear lord.
I can't find my way.

Love Equilibrium
Equilibrium needs the ending state of instability,
Because this potential energy is in dependability
It's like unifying state of all contraries in war dance
Or a contradictory state of abstraction; a trance.
Our thinking may need, too, its abstract instability,
When emotional instability may generate creativity
For the metastable states and the feelings' wisdom,
For the development of the main thinking system.
Link between pure sex and happiness is an illusion,
It's swimming in waters of wild fancy and confusion.
When our love equilibrium needs moments of instability
Inside of me, pieces of you are in deep dependability.

Attica State
What a waste of human power
What a waste of human lives
Shoot the prisoners in the towers
Forty-three poor widowed wives
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Media blames it on the prisoners
But the prisoners did not kill
Rockefeller pulled the trigger
That is what the people feel
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Free the prisoners, jail the judges
Free all prisoners everywhere
All they want is truth and justice
All they need is love and care
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
They all live in suffocation
Lets not watch them die in sorrow
Nows the time for revolution
Give them all a chance to grow
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Come together join the movement
Take a stand for human rights
Fear and hatred clouds our judgement
Free us all from endless night
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Attica state, attica state,
We all live in attica state
Attica state, attica state,
Attica, attica, attica state

Earth's Transformation
Dark and confusion surround this Earth,
it is now time for Mother Earth's rebirth.
Transformation is at hand,
catastrophic events will happen
shaking humanity into another
state of awareness of what's going on,
humans will be saved by light
or be in a state of fear and be long gone.
Yes, the angelic realm will protect us
if we ask,
help us to transform to higher
consciousness at last.

The Earthen Jar In The Garden During The Rain
it is there
it has a mouth gaping
filling itself
with the rain
this is a rainy
day and it
will rain here
for weeks
the jar takes
all the water
drinks it like
it is a thirsty
woman
yet just like us
it can never be full
even for weeks
or for years
there is always
a spill
of what is full
there is always
the emptiness
even in
the physical fullness
the jar is there
alone
it is raining and it
will rain for weeks
the jar never breaks
it is
alone.

State Of The Heart
I know your name
I told you mine
Weve stopped and passed the time of day
You work in town
I work at night
That gives us six until seven to work this out
If I seem a little strange
Its just the state of the heart
Im waiting here for you
In the state Im in
You are the moon
I am the sea
You pull me in and gaze on down at me
I was alone
I thought I was immune
Its good to know
The door can still be open wide
If I feel a little strange
Its just the state of the heart
Im waiting here for you
In the state Im in
Its just the state of the heart
I wait in the dark
I the state Im in
We get closer and closer
To falling out or falling in
I go over and over
But I cant change the state
This heart is in
If I seem a little strange
Its just the state of the heart
Im waiting here for you
In the state Im in
Its just the state of the heart
You know I wait in the dark
In the state Im in
It s the state of the heart
The state of the heart
The state of the heart
The state of the heart

I Took Your Name
I wore the clothes you wanted
I took your name
If there is some confusion,
Whos to blame?
I signed your living will
I smiled your face
Im ready to close the book on
Nasa and outer space
If there is some confusion
Whos to blame?
Whos to blame?
I sequenced your arrival
I sealed your fate
I pushed the button
And erased your master tape
I wrote the sales pitch
I threw the gray switch
I dragged your big-assed
Dirty robbed car out of that ditch
If there is some confusion
Whos to blame?
Whos to blame?
I crossed your great divide
I stirred your oceans tide
I called your bluff until
I blew your circuits wide
Ill be your albatross,
Devil dog, jesus lord
I dont wanna be iggy pop
But if thats what it takes
If there is some confusion
If there is some confusion
If there is some confusion
Whos to blame?
Whos to blame?

Silly Confusion
Meet me on the moon very very soon
Meet me on the stars jupiter and mars
Fly me to a star
Burning out in space shining on my face
Fly me through the night on your silver wings
Over crystal seas valleys of the kings
By the lilac shore where the dragon flies
In the diamond skies
Silly silly confusion
And tangle of wild illusion
Were living in a wonderworld of fantasy
We spent all our times in sweet living dreams
Its a silly silly confusion
Like a flower of wild profusion
You can do the things in life
You always wanted to
Within your heart you know it always will come through
Take me for a ride in your dream-machine
To a time and place where no one has been
Let me look upon worlds Ive never seen
In your dream-machine
Fly me to a star burning out in space
Let me feel the light shining on my face
Sail on solar winds sail on silver birds
Through the universe
Silly silly confusion...
Its a silly silly confusion...
Silly silly confusion...
Its a silly silly confusion...
Silly silly confusion
Silly silly confusion
