After an eternity of seeking the sudden threshold of seeing and finding leaves one filled with a strange paradox of ecstasy and grief. I was born to see.

A sudden stare
Her eyes in a deep blue hue caught me,
they were prettier than eyes should be
and for a long moment as I drove by
time stretched out to an eternity.
Still I wonder about what I did see
when dumbfounded by her beauty,
there were thoughts that we did share,
as in almost a moment of ecstasy
but there was more to it than sudden bliss,
a gaze that I could not miss
in a kind of strange togetherness,
a departure from how life usually is
there were thoughts captured in each others stare,
and her beauty, her loveliness was rare
while we comprehended a kind of sudden joy
as if nothing else but we were there.

A Strange And Sudden Happiness
A STRANGE AND SUDDEN HAPPINESS
A strange and sudden happiness came over me
In the midst of the middle of nothing special-
Being alive
Just here
After all the years-
Eleven o’clock in the morning
With three hours of work to go
Before I am free again-
A strange and sudden happiness
I thank God for.

There is an ecstasy that marks the summit of life, and beyond which life cannot rise. And such is the paradox of living, this ecstasy comes when one is most alive, and it comes as a complete forgetfulness that one is alive.

I Was Not When You Were Born, You Were Old When I Was Born
I was not when you were born,
You were old when I was born.
You regret that I was late born,
I regret that you were early born.
I was not when you were born,
You were old when I was born.
I wished to have been born together,
We could enjoy our time together.
You were not when I was born,
I was old when you were born.
I was so far away from you,
You were so distant from me.
You were not when I was born,
I was old when you were born.
I’d become a flower-seeking butterfly,
And sleep on the fragrant grass every night.

I Mourn
the charms of spring spreading around
and yet no one knew i was deep bound
the sorrows of night spread over me
everyone else cherish they be
spring is here everyone's cheer
and the loneliness i cant bear
the mourning thoughts filled in my mind
everyone else filled with joy and blind
my eyes stuck on the dark approaching here
they are in ecstasy for the blossoms there
intensified by the grief i mourn
the wishes i have are forlorn
such world no wonder i have seen
where everyone else is there where they have been

A Void Of Blue
Fields of green surround my soul
Fields of green they make me whole
A concept lost eternity
A concept forever young to me
A void of blue engulfs my soul
Leaves me drunk within the bowl
A flavour of eternity
Reveals to me identity
Curious of the falling night
Lost within the calling light
A flavour of eternity
Incites my curiosity
Still all is one within my form
Peace before the foaming storm
All is falling endlessly
Within a heart of boundless purity.
Ah! Sweet ecstasy.

Our Heartaches
Oh that life would never be
filled with pain and misery,
but life was never meant to be
filled with joy and ecstasy.
I've learned that now and cry my tears.
I learned it in my later years.
All the hopes are replaced with fears
that every emotion that one reveres
escapes so quickly just as it began
and changes all the things you plan.
You hold on tight, as tight as you can.
And as it leaves you never understand.

You Know What
Yeah I know that
I said I'm feeling
I'm feeling it I'm feeling it yeah
I know that you like the way that I put it down on you
you know what yeah
We were meant to be
together for eternity
but now you're gone it's plain to see
I was living just a fantasy
so many things ever I found a love that's true
finding it hard to push on through
since I've been away from you
when I first met you waiting
standing up by the bus stop
I knew you were something speacial
weak in my knees
I wanted to drop yeah e yeah
so we checked each other
what we had going on was so hot yeah
I never thought you'd leave me no
but you know what
we were meant to be
together for eternity
but now you're gone it's plain to see
I was living just a fantasy
so many things ever I found a love that's true
finding it hard to push on through
since I've been away from you
Now I can't seem to get over you
appearing in everything that i do
it was only last feek
friday when I saw you out with your girlfriends walking
round my way (wanted to stop) yeah e yeah
i feel when all's said and done
from this love I've had I've learnt a klot yeah
I never thought you'd leave me no
but you know what
we were meant to be
together for eternity
but now you're gone it's plain to see
I was living just a fantasy
so many things ever i found a love that's true
finding it hard to push on through
since I've been away from you
the flow that we had was so hot
girl you took me higher to the top
we kept it rolling wouldn't stop
said you'd never leave me
but you know what
we were meant to be
together for eternity
but now you're gone it's plain to see
I was living just a fantasy
so many things ever I found a love that's true
finding it hard to push on through
since I've been away from you
you don't know what i've been going through
but I know that you don't know what
I said i'm feeling it i'm feeling it I'm feeling it yeah

Birth Of Ecstasy
The feeling that I have is one many receive. This feeling I get whenever I contrive a simple essence of a sample that hallucinates my eyes. The feeling is a rush that have when its taken, lazy or ecstatic my body is left shaken, waiting for the next time my ecstasy is taken.
Thrills and chills I have even when its near, to harness that power it brings me, one of a rocketeer. I feel as though it is my friend even though it my seem as a frienemy, or may it is just my fiend a truly sneaky enemy. Oh ecstasy my ecstasy, why are you forbidden for me, why are you the one I want but is forbidden to see. Oh ecstasy my ecstasy you are fun for me, but we can not be for others my see what it means to be apart, or never together from the start.
Ecstasy my ecstasy this can not be our end. For this is only our beginning, the birth of my ecstasy, our relationship will extend.

Strange Fruit
Lewis allen, sonny white
Seven trees
Bearin strange fruit
Blood on the leaves
And blood at the roots
Black bodies
Swinging in the southern breeze
Strange fruit hangin
From the poplar trees
Pastoral scene
Of the gallant south
Them big bulging eyes
And the twisted mouth
Scent of magnolia
Clean and fresh
Then the sudden smell
Of burnin flesh
Here is a fruit
For the crows to pluck
For the rain to gather
For the wind to suck
For the sun to rot
For the leaves to drop
Here is
Strange and bitter crop
As singed by billie holiday
Southern trees bear strange fruit,
Blood on the leaves and blood at the root,
Black bodies swinging in the southern breeze,
Strange fruit hanging from the poplar trees.
Pastoral scene of the gallant south,
The bulging eyes and the twisted mouth,
Scent of magnolias, sweet and fresh,
Then the sudden smell of burning flesh.
Here is fruit for the crows to pluck,
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck,
For the sun to rot, for the trees to drop,
Here is a strange and bitter cry.

This Momentous Mummery
Well, I don't know. Maybe it's quite all right,
And maybe it is I who am perverse,
Finding in this unedifying sight
Mere mummery, and hearing but a blight
Of words and frowsty fustian - or worse
Maybe I'm wrong; and homosapiens yet,
Among the sentient, stays wise Nature's pet.
First the exordium, restrained and grim,
Stirring emotions, spreading subtle spells;
And then the swelling voice, the waving limb,
The flashing eye, the pep, the yells, the vim
The crashing peroration - and hell's bells! ...
Old stuff, so I was once led to suppose
Archaic stuff, and yet it goes, it goes.
Once Epictetus or - well, shall we say
Marcus Aurelius stirred in me a hope,
As reason grew and error fell away,
Giants might rise to lead us in our day
Out of this darkened maze in which men grope.
But now I know the man who gets that job
Is he who can spellbind the muddied mob.
But life's a paradox - Mayhap I'm wrong
In seeking guidance from the enlightened wise
Looking for leaders in the sanely strong
To spread sweet reason 'mid the puzzled throng
A paradox all men must recognise;
And it may be our world shall yet give thanks,
And owe salvation to its mountebanks.

Strange Feeling
A strange feeling comes in a strange way in a strange package
In a strange color in a strange structure with a strange feature
With a strange nature with a strange behavior
Inside me which I can feel but can't express
As it stands at a distance far away making me helpless.
It breaks in,
Before holding to mold
It goes out
I put a tricky trap
To catch but it tactfully traps the trap
And very fast catches me up.
But it never becomes my very own
Or leaves me to live peacefully alone
It has been doing what it does and doesn't change.
It does always derange me, what a strange?

Ecstasy
They call you ecstasy
Nothing ever sticks to you
Not velcro, not scotch tape
Not my arms dipped in glue
Not if I wrap myself in nylon
A piece of duct tape down my back
Love pierced the arrow with the twelve
And I cant get you back
Ah, ecstasy
Ecstasy
Ah, ecstasy
Across the streets an old ford, they took off its wheels
The engine is gone
In its seat sits a box
With a note that says, goodbye charlie, thanks a lot
I see a child through a window with a bib
And I think of us and what we almost did
The hudson rocketing with light
The ships pass the statue of liberty at night
They call it ecstasy, ah
Ecstasy
Ecstasy, ah
Ecstasy
Some men call me st. ivory
Some call me st. maurice
Im smooth as alabaster
With white veins runnin through my cheeks
A big stud through my eyebrow
A scar on my arm that says, domain
I put it over the tattoo
That contained your name
They called you ecstasy, ecstasy
Ecstasy
They call you ecstasy, ecstasy
Ecstasy
The moon passing through a cloud
A body facing up is floating towards a crowd
And I think of a time and what I couldnt do
I couldnt hold you close, I couldnt, I couldnt become you
They call you ecstasy, I cant hold you down
I cant hold you up
I feel like that car that I saw today, no radio
No engine, no hood
Im going to the cafe, I hope theyve got music
And I hope that they can play
But if we have to part
Ill have a new scar right over my heart
Ill call it ecstasy
Oh, ecstasy, ecstasy
Ecstasy
Ecstasy, ecstasy
Ecstasy

Grief Abidding
It was that
Grief seldom had enough of her;
it took more than its due
leaving her often times over-filled with
dried up tears
in too many places.
Grief took her first child
and she weathered this.
Born in the breast of poverty
she endured nonetheless;
Wombed out in the wrong family
a stranger among them born,
she endured
til the road took her out and away
to college realms;
there
pounded by experience to Tragedy
until her heart came to be iron cast;
a thing which drank
bitter dregs
and cold gruel
her daily faire.
But all this
did not wreck her soul
which survived in the deepest depths
and broke with a might wave
one day to drown Grief's dingy
leaving her space to land her ship
on better shores-
Anvil forged.
She emerged
appreciative of everything
in this world;
thanking in the end
Grief
for placing the edge
on her
capacity to love,
which then emerged
under-girded
by Soul Force
which overcomes
all things.

The Paradox Of Poetry
The Paradox of Poetry
Is that every poem contains its own questions-
And that each question it asks
Is answered in another question
Raised from somewhere else-
The paradox of Poetry
Is that its meanings
Cannot be contained by themselves-
And so each paradox too
Bears within it its own ambiguity-
I call this a poem about Poetry
But in Paradox
It is a statement of Love
Which abstract as it is
Lacks poetic feeling
A non- poetic poem
Aspiring to be poetry too-

All from brain
Pleasure or pain
Is born out of brain.
Grief or ecstasy,
Tears or laughter,
Joy or sorrow,
Anger or mercy
Or any kind of emotion
Is the product of brain.
Where is mind, where is heart?

Nothing us but only in between us
In finding you
I find me, in looking for you
You look for me, so in finding you finding me,
We finally find out, there is nothing us but only
You and me finding you and me, there is really
No us, just some things between us, always finding
You and me finding you always finding two
Not one, nothing one, but always two, a separate
You finding me and me finding you in this search in futility

Needle In A Haystack
(william stevenson / norman whitfield)
Well, well, I once believed
All fellas were nice
But girls, listen to me
And take my advice
A-girls, youd better get yourselves
On the right track
cause finding a good man, girls
Is like finding a
(needle in a haystack)
A-what did I say, girls?
(needle in a haystack)
Girls, those fellas are sly, slick and shy, yeah
Oh, dont you ever let them catch you looking starry-eyed
Theyll tell you that their love is true
And theyll walk right over you
Now girls, youd better know these things
A-right off a-the bat
cause finding a good man, girls
Is like finding a
(needle in a haystack)
What did I say, girls?
(needle in a haystack)
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Well, now girls, I say, Im tellin you the natural facts
cause finding a good man, girls
Is like finding a
(needle in a haystack)
What did I say, girls?
(needle in a haystack)
Im telling you, girls
Youd better look before you leap
Still water sometimes is a-very deep
Youll be in sorrow when you discover
That youre just his pasttime lover
Girls, youd better know these things
A-right off a-the bat
cause finding a good man, girls
Is like finding a
(needle in a haystack)
What did I say, girls?
(needle in a haystack)
I say youd better take heed
And listen to me
Youd better play hard to get
Or youre gonna regret
The day you were born, yeah
A-when you leaves you alone
I bet, youd better regret
Oh, youd better regret

Grudge never fades
Grief never leaves
Promises are fake
Love is an illusion
Seeking for oblivion
Celebrate the isolation
Cast away our desires
Sail to the yonder land

An Appointment, I await! ! ! ! ! !
Right on time,
I said as I smiled
And put my glass of
Cointreau aside.
Just wait,
Let me put this clock away,
Its ticking,
Feels like an intrusion.
For now
I want to believe you will
Hold me till eternity
In silence
Am filled with ecstasy
As you embrace me
In stillness
While no one is prying.
Life in a metro
Is like a whirring machine.
O Night
In your arms
I forget
And rejuvenate.
You are the only one
Who never forgets
Our appointment.
