Why do the caterpillar and the ant have to be enemies? One eats leaves, and the other eats caterpillars. Oh, I see now.

Krishna's Meal
Kanha eats in Yasoda's lap.
some he eats, some he drops,
as the ladies of Nandgaon watch,
some he eats and some he puts
in Nanda's mouth,
this joy is beyound recount.
some he eats, some gives to gopas,
butter in his hands, curd in doniyas.
The joy of Yasoda
the three worlds cannot account.
the meal is over, Kanha washes,
for Sur the left-overs count.

Rust eats iron
Rust eats iron.
Separation from wife
eats husband
Contempt by kith and kins
And serving evil master
Eats body by burning silently
Corroding heart and soul body
from within.
Rust eats iron.

imitating Jack Prelutsky's Last Night I Dreamed of Chickens
last night i dreamed of caterpillars
there were caterpillars everywhere
they were crawling in my stomach
they were eating leave in my hair
they were munching at my pillow
they were circling on my head
they were cleaning up their mouths
as they spin silk in my bed
they were on the chairs and table
they were climbing the chandeliers
they were making cocoons in the corners
they were linking in my ears
there were caterpillars, caterpillar, caterpillars
for as far as i could see...
when i woke up today, i noticed,
there were butterflies on top of me

When an elephant eats and eats and still cries for more, it is the grass that will get embarrassed.
Meditation is not for him who eats too much, nor for him who eats not at all not for him who is over much addicted to sleep, nor for him who is always awake.

It eats you up. It eats you up. And you have to - I had a lot of help. I had a lot of therapy. And I was able to - because it was hard, you know, to - you can't just lay it on friends and children.

The always-hurrying person eats goat, but the one who takes his time eats beef.
It is strange! The ox eats hay and the dog eats bread, while the donkey carries wine but drinks water.
Bear ‘today’ for ‘tomorrow’.
Dear Plant, bear with the caterpillar,
Who is, of your tender leaves, the eater.
He will come to you as a butterfly later,
To impregnate your blossomed flowers.
Men are caterpillars;
Men are butterflies too.

Vulture can't Dance
Master eats first
Servant eats last
Servant always eat bones
And takes guitar
And sings
‘‘Every birds dance
But vulture can't dance
Mistress eats first
Slave eats last
Slave always eat bones
And take guitar
And sings
‘‘Every birds sing
But vulture can't sing

Eaters
Somebody who eats dog meat will one day become like one,
Somebody who eats cat meat will one day become like one,
For all around me are eaters of things;
And, when will they learn from these meats?

The Day The World Went Away
Id listen to the words hed say
But in his voice I heard decay
The plastic face forced to portray
All the insides left cold and gray
There is a place that still remains
It eats the fear it eats the pain
The sweetest price hell have to pay
The day the whole world went away

A bird which eats berries can be caught, but not a bird that eats wood.
Epigram - Frank Carves Very Ill
Frank carves very ill, yet will palm all the meats;
He eats more than six, and drinks more than he eats.
Four pipes after dinner he constantly smokes,
And seasons his whiffs with impertinent jokes:
Yet sighing, he says we must certainly break,
And my cruel unkindness compels him to speak,
For of late I invite him - but four times a week.

Sexual feedings
When eyes survey, when palms cup,
When mouth licks and when piston pumps
Man eats his lust from woman’s body.
Woman eats her lust being eaten by him.

I Remember The Caterpillar
t'was a story told
when i was young
the moth that circled
the fire of the lamp
he gets burned
the daedelus on the
wings of wax
he flew too high
and the sun melted
his wings and to
the sea he drowns
the caterpillar that
struggled to the top
kicking other
caterpillars along
the way only to
find that there is
nothing at the top
that on the other
side are mountains
of caterpillars that
never knew that
they are all destined
to fly and be some
colorful butterflies
it amazes me
it still amazes me
how can i not
easily understand
my own destiny

Camels and Chameleons
You can’t miss a camel,
It’s big and it smells,
It harrumphs and slobbers
And slurps at the wells;
Chameleon, tiny,
Stands still on a twig
And changes its colors
Like changing a wig.
The problem I have though
Is how to pronounce
It’s name, while it’s fading
Yet ready to pounce.
One only eats veggies
And looks like a frump;
The other eats insects
But both have a hump!
