They trained mostly by time periods, checking their pace for known distance only on special occasions.

A Special Brown Eyed Angel
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
Was once sent to me
To bring me a light of hope
And inspire me, don't you see
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
She touched me in my heart
At the time she didn't know it
But she touched it from the start
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
She still inspires me yet today
And though it's been several years now
Right in my heart is where she'll stay
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
With eyes that sparkle into the night
And with that special smile
It tells me things will be alright
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
She is truely a God send
And when I'm down and out
Her heart is there for the lend
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
Seems to know when I need a mend
And comes checking on me
As if we were some kind of twins
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
She always seems to understand
Always reaching out to help
And giving her helping hand
A Special Brown Eyed Angel
There is no doubt, she was a Heaven send
I am so proud to know her
And even prouder to call her my friend

There are periods in history when change is necessary, and other periods when it is better to keep everything for the time as it is. The art of life is to be in the rhythm of your age.

Imaginary Time
There are times when we think
time rushes by too quick
and other times when
it just seems to drag along.
When you are waiting for something to happen
time seems to go slow,
yet when something happens.
Something nice for you
and you want to prolong time.
You can bet on these occasions
time seems to race by.
Having said all that,
time moves at a steady pace
and never alters its speed.
It is only our imagination,
which thinks it moves
fast and slow.

Business of Manufacture
The business of large scale manufacture
Is that of higher money amounts,
Over special issues, as the life tells.
It constricts the messages in the throats
As much as a python, and like they say
So much for reason and judgement.
The case is put on occasions, on certain occasions
That messengers are handed over from God to alleviate
The need for Manufacture, such as the exact rest
To be called Relaxation.
Then we are friendly, as an ocean of oil,
The oil of our father and mother,
The oil of helpers and fuel and fruit.

In comparing therefore the value of the same commodity, at different periods of time, the consideration of the comparative skill and intensity of labour, required for that particular commodity, needs scarcely to be attended to, as it operates equally at both periods.

Religion is meant to be bread for daily use, not cake for special occasions.
Habits are comforts
To listen to the tunes that
Your ears are trained on,
To look at things that
Your eyes are trained on,
And to tread the way that
Your feet are trained in
Will appear sweet to you.
Habits bring comfort zones.

This Is for You
I feel like I have been blind
It was not until I realised you were gone
That I realised how special you really are
Having you there, even though we never talked
It was a comfortable distance we kept
Keeping our conversations strictly limited
Now I look to roll back time
Ask you all the questions I have now
Tell you how beautiful I find you
How really special I think you are
Time is a privilege we all abuse
None of us stop to appreciate anymore
Those moments which seem to pass so fast
I wonder if I held my breath I could slow time
Capture that look once more in your eyes
See the smile and colour in you
Always you will remain beautiful
And given that time comes to an end
It’s a fact none of can contest
I want to tell you now if its not too late
I love you in so many ways

Divebomb
Do you see what you wanna see?
When you reset sixty-three?
I can't even believe it, I'm waking, chip protected
Divebomb! Time's gone!
Divebomb! Time's gone!
Checking, checking the statements
Dreading living on pensions
I don't wanna believe it, I'm drinking, just to forget it
Divebomb! Time's gone!
Divebomb! Timebomb!
Divebomb! Timebomb!
Divebomb! Time's gone!
Divebomb! Timebomb!

Special Someone
In life, we face love
on many occasions in our time,
but only one will remain
throughout our life.
For everyone there is someone
and when you find them
your life will become a new spring
with its shoots budding each day
until in our summer it blooms into life
and then we know we’ve found
That special someone.

Keeping My Distance
(jimmy davis/tommy burroughs/don smith)
Im keeping my calandar open
Even if it takes me years
til you figure out what your plan is
You figure out all of your fears
I dont wanna know anything about her
Or what you feel like you have to defend
But Ive seen your situation
And the world she keeps you in
Im keeping my distance
Im keeping my distance
And Ill wait until my time is here
Im keeping my distance
Im keeping my distance
And Ill wait until you make it clear
If you dont want to rush it baby
Well then by all means dont
But Im gonna wait for the day when
When you see that its me you want
I can see, I can tell that you need me
You know that I need you too
So why on earth cant you ever let her go
Will you ever try anything new
Im keeping my distance
Im keeping my distance
And Ill wait until my time is here
Im keeping my distance
Im keeping my distance
And Ill wait until you make it clear
Where will you find the strength
I cant hold you against your will
You keep me at arms length
Im reaching out to hold you still, yeah, yeah, yeah
I can see that you need me
You know that I need you too
So why on earth cant you ever let her go
Will you ever try anything new
Im keeping my distance
Im keeping my distance
And Ill wait until my time is here
Im keeping my distance
Im keeping my distance

Eureka...!!!
Found
The sum and substance
Of time and distance
After decades of struggle
You know my friend,
Time and distance
Either binds or breaks
Time and distance
Either seals or steals!

Don't reserve your best behavior for special occasions. You can't have two sets of manners, two social codes - one for those you admire and want to impress, another for those whom you consider unimportant. You must be the same to all people.

Something Special
You may not know it
I dont always show it
But youre so important to me
So much that weve shared
Youve always been there
I hope you always will be
Chorus:
cause you are something special, ooh-wee
Yes, you are something special to me
When Im around you
The love that surrounds you
Brings comfort and warmth to my heart
A god-given treasure
You give me such pleasure
You are a true work of art
Chorus:
Yes, you are something special, yes indeed
Yes, you are something special to me
Bridge:
Youre the wind neath my wings
Like the song that they sing
But theres so many things that you are
An angel in my life
You are the sunlight
And you hung the moon and the stars
Yes, youre special
Turnaround
Chorus:
Yes, you are something special, ooh-wee
Yes, you are something special, yes indeed
Yes, you are something special to me
Mm-mm
Fade:
You are something special
Mm-mm, youre something special
You are something special

Special
I been trying for so long
To get you where I stand
Feel like I been climbing all my life
Everybody told me
I'd never ever get this far
I know I can make it if I try
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
(come to you, you too, to you, do to, be do, you)
Special things come to you
There's no sense in trying to fight it
When I want something so bad
No, it's not as easy as it seems
Simple things are the hardest
Of the things we do for love
And I won't give up cause I'm not just what it means
The special things you dream about
And the special things you're all about
Special things that somehow come to you
And it's the simple things to just believe
And the special things that you want to see
Special things somehow come to you
(come to you, doo doo doo, to you, doo doo doo)
Special things (doo, doo ahh, you doo)
Do do doo, on you, do do doo, to you
Do doo, ahh, do do doo, too
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
The special things you dream about
And the special things you're all about
Special things that somehow come to you
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
And it's the simple things to just believe
And the special things that you want to see
Special things somehow come to you

Snail Crossing.... (Part Ten)
when you wrap god up
in a colorless box,
filled with fear, judgement,
and prejudice...
a box that can only be held
by people just like you,
on special occasions,
and with ulterior motives...
you make god the weapon
of your own ignorance!
you dont own god!

Meet Me At No Special Place
(and Ill be there at no particular time)
(pyle/robinson/terker)
Baby, we two cant get along,
Im never right, youre never wrong.
So meet me at no special place,
And Ill be there at no particular time.
Baby, it just aint common sense
Mixin up love with arguments.
So meet me at no special place,
And Ill be there at no particular time.
Im all fed up on stormy weather,
Im going where its june.
Heres hopin I see you never
cause if I do, that will be too soon.
Now that Ive put my heart on ice,
Missing you will seem paradise.
So meet me at no special place,
And Ill be there at no particular time.
~interlude~
Youd better bring along your glasses
In case Im hard to find,
Youll wish you could see before you
As clearly as you can see behind.
You can turn back in retropect
Of the times you stuck out your neck.
So meet me at no special place,
And Ill be there at no particular time.
All we do is make up
Then quarrel all over again,
But this is it ~ the breakup
From now on, you knew me when...
So meet me at no special place,
And Ill be there at no particular time!

Happy Wedding Anniversary
A special day to think about
The glory of how days had passed;
A special day to rest at last,
The woes and doubts about life past!
A special day to thank the Lord
Jesus, for bestowing blessings;
A special day to give the nod
For grace that prayer in life brings!
A special day to be afree
Of worries that the past had brought;
A special day to be happy
About God’s mercies you had got.
A special day to just rejoice
And stay in cloud nine for some time;
A special day of feats and poise,
And singing some nursery rhymes!
Most special day is ‘Wedding-Day’;
The heart is full of green-memoirs –
When children try to love repay,
Grand-children sing angelic-choirs!

Another Year Has Gone By
So many 25th's of December
Just as many 4th of July's
And we're still holding it together
It only comes down to you and I
I know you can still remember
Things we said right from the start
When we said that this could be special
I'm keeping those words deep down in my heart
Another year has gone by
And I'm still the one by your side
After everything that's gone by
There's still no one saying goodbye
Though another year has gone by
I never been much for occasions
You never let another birthday go by
Without announcing how much you love me
But the truth was always there
Right there in your eyes
And we're still holding hands when we're walking
Acting like we've only just met
But how can that be - when there's so much history
I guess that's how true lovers can get
Another year has gone by
And I'm still the one by your side
After everything that's gone by
There's still no one saying goodbye
Though another year has gone by
Another year has gone by
And I'm still the one by your side
After everything that's gone by
There's still no one saying goodbye
Though another year has gone by

Distance - Between
There is a
Distance.
Between,
Mortality and eternity.
Distance.
Between,
God and humanity.
Distance.
Between.
So much,
So far;
The Universe and
The burning stars.
Distance.
Between,
Creator and creation;
Between,
All past and present relation.
Distance.
Between,
All living,
All dying;
Laughing and
Crying.
The distance - between,
The present scene, and
All that is unseen;
What's hiding, and
What's showing;
Where we are, and
Where we are going.
