I always say the new album is the best one yet. I always feel that - I really do, because it's the latest and it's the newest and it's a little bit better.

Cover Girl
She wears the newest make-up
And drives the latest car
She might have the biggest D-cup
She’s the newest television star
She’s thin
Not a speck of spot
And have the nicest skin
And everybody thinks she’s hot
She has the perfect lips
And the sexy big eyes
The nice curve hips
And everyone wonders why
She doesn’t have to exercise to stay that way
She can eat anything she wants and she doesn’t put on fat
She goes outside every day
And everyone she meets think she’s all that

I think the themes in my songs are very similar from the first album to the newest one. It's all about the human condition and how we are all trying to learn to live with each other and survive love and life.

I got a chance to have my dream come true, and I wanted to make sure I made the decision as to when I dropped my last album. If I don't feel like this album is an incredible piece of work, then I'm cool with the albums I've done. I don't have to put out another album.

Haute Couture
The newest craze in the World
The very latest in High Fashion
Has been introduced by New Designers
Who go by the names of: Forgiving
And Compassion
Brought before the eyes of the Nouveau Riche
And all the style Fashionista's
The stir is catching on
Across all past opined vista's
This is but the latest trend
Compassion and his friend Forgiving
They are giving Donatella Versace a run
For her money
As many lean towards this new way of living
So watch out Dolce and Gabanna and
Giorgio Armani
Rumor has it it Victoria Beckham and
Katie Holmes
Now embrace the Two
I am sure that it won't be long 'til
They will be your designers too

Let It Be.
She always had that, Let It Be, album
On the turntable, with him, the latest uncle,
Sitting beside her on the couch or in her bed,
Smoking, making out, and you were told to go
Outside and play and leave her be, and so
You’d go out and play or find some mischief
To do with Hawksmith, who always seemed
To know how you felt, what made you tick,
And he’d say, let’s go up to Grundle’s barn,
Let’s go make out in the hay, and he’d laugh,
And so you’d go to the barn or down by Mullen’s
Pond and watch him fish. She always played
That darn Let It Be album when she was high,
Had it up loud, the music blaring out over
The yard, and she and him, laughing and cursing,
And when you used to creep back to the house
Late at night the lights were on and you’d hear
The Beatles’ album going round and round on
The turntable without reason or any sound.

But I know more than d.j.

The newest form of music
Is easy to see
It start with a d
And end with a b
Dub in a de morning
And dub in a de night
Mek the whole neighbourhood
Feel alright, feel alright
When me reach me yard
Me got one thing on me mind,
To hold me little woman
And fe mek her fell iree.

To hold me little woman
And fe mek her fell iree.

Feel alright, feel alright
Rock in a de dance
Me seh fe give dub a chance,
Rock in de blues
You know you jus cant lose.
A dub me a defend
On dub I can depend
Check out dis yah music
And run tell yo friend.
We dont want rock n roll
And we got enough soul,
We dont want rock n roll
And we got enough soul.
Bass is beutiful
If its clean,
But dis yah dub music
Man, it well mean.
No bother follow friend
And ignore dub again.
Its simple, but effective
Cant you see?
A lot of people catch on in eight-three.
Now is eighty-four
And you must know the score,
Anything me chat, you know
The people bawl more.
Me jump pon de graphics
Dont get vex
All me have
A total concept
To make you feel
Iree.
To make you feel
Iree.

Yo, you have come almost to the close of my album
But before I go I just wanna thank God for staying with me
Through my ups and downs and through my whole period
Of doing this album, I want to thank timbaland who came up with
The beats and all the people who appeared on my album
Make it hot, aight, Im out

With this new album, I prepared for it a long time, and I was happy with the songs and the production. I felt that I proved myself with the first album, and with this new album, I just want to share some of my music. And that was always my feeling and my intention.

I had no album title, and the album is like a journey in that it's a complete body of work. It's not just a couple of catchy songs and filler, so I felt that I needed to capture the essence of the album.

Words Of Wisdom
Mark: we ... we have a new album out, it was released the fifteenth. it's called closer to home. we'd like to do one ... we'd like to do one from the album. ah ..., but before we do, i feel that
.., i have to tell you something because i know that if you were in my place that you would do it for me.
Mark: ah ... brothers and sisters, there are people out there that look just like you or maybe ah ..., your brother ah ..., but they're not. and, when they hand you something, don't take it -- don't take it, okay?
Mark: this is mean mistreater ...

In My Heart
This song appears on two albums, and was first released on the autograph album, and has also been released on the country roads collection album.
I dont know why
We still live together
Were so far apart
So much of the time
I dont know why
This beautiful weather
Is breaking my spirit
And tearing my mind all apart
Are you so lonely
Are you so sad
Have you lost your purpose
The faith that you had
If life is a question
I dont understand
If time is the reason
Then nobody can
In my heart it is just an illusion
Its not even real
Much more than you think
Its much more than you feel
My ears are still ringing
Theres nothing to say
Why look to the ocean
To wash me away
There goes my best friend
There goes my last dime
If love is the answer
Im wasting my time
In my heart it is just an illusion
Its not even real
Much more than you think
Its much more than you feel
Do you feel
Is this real
How I feel
In my heart

Where Are Your Friends
Came out flying
Around all swimming
Through former bad roads
And more old buildings
For all the latest sounds
I'm in
So where are your friends
You'll get in
Came out fighting
But round all singing songs
Sailing and failing
To find out where we belong
For all the latest sounds
I'm in
So where are your friends
You'll get in
For all the latest sounds
I'm in
So where are your friends
Yeah, you'll get in.

(Marie's The Name) His Latest Flame
(Marie's the Name of) His Latest Flame
Elvis Presley
(words & music by Doc Pomus - Mort Shuman)
A very old friend came by today
'Cause he was telling everyone in town
About the love that he just found
And Marie's the name of his latest flame
Though I smiled the tears inside were a-burning
I wished him luck and then he said goodbye
He was gone but still his words kept returning
What else was there for me to do but cry
He talked and talked and I heard him say
That she had the longest blackest hair
The prettiest green eyes anywhere
And Marie's the name of his latest flame
Would you believe that yesterday
This girl was in my arms and swore to me
She'd be mine eternally
And Marie's the name of his latest flame

If you had a record company believing in you enough to cut an album then you had better have the ability to work the album on the road.
I didn't know how well my first album had done; it was enough to get me to do the second album, which was a continuation of the music I'd worked on and perfected.

Some guys record an album with songs that are filler. I recorded this album like it was my last.
There's no point that an album should sound like a watered down version of another album.
