The ideal, it seems to me, is to show things happening and allow the reader to decide what they mean.

To serve the people, one must write for the ideal reader. Only for the ideal reader. And who or what is that ideal reader? God. One must imagine, One must deeply imagine that great Attention. Only so, in lonely dialog, can one reach the people.

Nada Mas (only the poem)

Reader, your voice is the poem
you are the words; and
nothing more.
Reader, there is no poetry
unless you speak it.
Reader, there is no sound
you must find what it has to say.
Reader, seek the thought
rising from your soul.
Reader, look all about you, up and down
no one else has come this way.
Reader, there is no other poem
only you among the words of the word; and
nothing more.

Louis Pasteur

The greatness of human actions is measured by the inspiration that it brings. Blessed is he who carries within himself a God, an ideal of beauty and obeys it: an ideal of art, ideal of science, ideal of country, ideal virtues of the Gospel! These are the wellsprings of great thoughts and great actions. All reflections illuminate infinity.

We Decide Which Is Right

A magical night we spent
Yet others would not so agree
Many would even so condem
But that won't stop you and me
We Decide Which Is Right
How they become so upset
And throw sticks and stones
We're too busy loving it up
Together we're here all alone
We Decide Which Is Right
Let them talk behind our backs
What do they even know
Being here with you my love
And letting our feelings show
We Decide Which Is Right

Nothings Happening By The Sea

Salty river
Falls asleep in the bay
Always gets there
Never early, never late
Nothings happening
Nothings happening by the sea
White waves tumble down
And gently roll back into blue
On wooden seats outside the bar
The couples make their rendezvous
Nothings happening
Nothings happening by the sea
The trouble has been found
Theres too far ups and too many downs
I found a level that feels just right
Theres no mistaking where Im going tonight
Nothings happening
Nothings happening by the sea

Reader or writer

If you are a reader or a writer.
You should be a positive thinker.
You are more like a scientist observer.
Try to be an exact experimenter.
Nothing is too crazy to put on paper.

If you are a reader or a writer.
The reader is a wonderful dreamer.
The writer is a sincere worker.
Its lovely that both can be each other.

If you are a reader or a writer.
You should never say never.
So don't leave behind a book marker.
Make sure you have a word sharpener.

What The Reader Needs Is Words

What the reader needs is words
So Beautiful
And so Surprising
That they bring Joy and Mystery
A sense of Freshness in all things.

What the Reader needs
The Poet should give
But there are Poets who cannot be
The best Poetry is

Still they live and write
As I do.

Whats Really Happening

Grown inside a plastic box
Micro thoughts and safety locks
Hearts become outdated clocks
Ticking in your mind
Now its time to close our eyes
Now its time to say goodbye
Now its time to face the lie
That wed never cry
Whats really happening, what tore us apart
Whats really happening
Whats really happening, what tore us apart
Whats really happening
All the clouds are made of glass
And theyre slowly sinking
Falling like the shattered past
Were we built to last?
Whats really happening, what tore us apart
Whats really happening
Whats really happening, what tore us apart
Whats really happening
Now its time to close our eyes
Now its time to say goodbye
Now its time to face the lie
That wed never cry
Whats really happening, what tore us apart
Whats really happening

I Cannot Believe Its True

When I opened your letter yesterday
I could not believe my eyes
cos Ive already given all I have to give
And I think it must have slipped your mind
But I remember not so long ago
I gave it all, its gone
And I gave it all to you
Now Im living on borrowed time, but its mine
Oh, dyou hear me?
I cannot believe its true
Are you really doing the things you do.
No I cannot believe its you, really you
Oh these people Im talking to dont understand
They dont seem to realize
Theyre listening but theyre not hearing me
Theyre being too cruel to be kind
Any kind of feeling that I had is gone
cos I gave it all, its gone
And I gave it all to you
Now Im living on borrowed time, but its mine
Oh, dyou hear me?
I cannot believe its true
Are you really doing the things you do.
No I cannot believe its you, really you
Over and over I keep on telling myself
Over and over I hope Im gonna make up
Over and over I know its really happening
And theres nothing that I can say
cos nothing can change all the things that youve done to me
Nothing can make me stay
Oh, cos you know I cannot believe its true
Are you really doing the things you do
No I cannot believe its you, really you
I know its a crying shame, its all the same to you
It seems all so well laid out but I cannot get through
Never meant it to show
It started happening, thats all you know.
Oh, I gave it all to you
Now Im living on borrowed time, but its mine
Oh, dyou hear me?
I cannot believe its true
Are you really doing the things you do
No I cannot believe its you, really you
Over and over I keep on telling myself
Over and over I hope Im gonna make up
But over and over I know its really happening
And theres nothing that I can say
cos nothing can change all the things that you do to me
Nothing can make me stay

Are you really doing the things you do

That Joke Isnt Funny Anymore

Park the car at the side of the road
You should know
Times tide will smother you
And I will too
When you laugh about people who feel so
Very lonely
Their only desire is to die
Well, Im afraid
It doesnt make me smile
I wish I could laugh
But that joke isnt funny anymore
Its too close to home
And its too near the bone
Its too close to home
And its too near the bone
More than youll ever know ...
Kick them when they fall down
Kick them when they fall down
You kick them when they fall down
Kick them when they fall down
You kick them when they fall down
Kick them when they fall down
You kick them when they fall down
Kick them when they fall down
It was dark as I drove the point home
And on cold leather seats
Well, it suddenly struck me
I just might die with a smile on my
Face after all
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
And now its happening in mine
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
And now its happening in mine
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
And now its happening in mine
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
And now its happening in mine
Oh ...
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
Oh ...
And now its happening in mine
Happening in mine
Happening in mine
Happening in mine
Happening in mine
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
Oh ...
And now, now, now its happening in mine
(Ive seen this happen)
Happening in mine
Oh... now, now
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
Oh ...
And now its happening in mine
(happen)
Happening in mine
Oh ...
Happening in mine
Happening in mine
Happening in mine
Ive seen this happen in other peoples
Lives
Oh ...
And now, now, now its happening in mine
Happening in mine
Mine, mine
Happening in mine

Woes And Wonders

Show me a city full of happiness,
Then i will show you the effect of their weakness.
Show me a man who is full of himself,
Then i will show you why he's a fool to himself.
Show me your success today,
And i will show you your mistakes of yesterday.
Show me a community not far from the mountain,
Then i will show you why their security is certain.
Show me a holy man,
Then i will show you why he's called a human.
Show me a man who is not afraid of death,
Then i will show him the theory of birth.
Show me an ocean of misery,
Then i will show you how to swim in victory.
Tell me the meaning of ' STOP ',
Then i will show you the way to the top.
Show me your best friend,
Then i will show you where your dreams will end.

Show me a good and caring heart,
And i will show you why it hasn't been torn apart.
Show me your hall of pain,
Then i will show you all what u've gain.
Show me an exceptional reader,
Then i will show you a great leader.
Show me a way to financial prosperity,
Then i will show you a way to heavenly security.
Show me a great man of all time,
Then i will show you his footprint on the sand of time.
Show me a problem you can't solve,
Then i will show you why you haven't use the solution called love.
Show me a world full of fantasy,
Then i will show you the pain behind a life full of ecstasy.
Show me a kingdom built with wrath,
Then i will show you how much it is worth.
Show me a man with a problem free life,
Then i will show you why he hasn't gotten a wife.
Show me all of earth's pleasure,
Then i will show you why heaven is the place to be beyond all measure

Friends need not agree in everything or go always together, or have no comparable other friendships of the same intimacy. On the contrary, in friendship union is more about ideal things: and in that sense it is more ideal and less subject to trouble than marriage is.

Eye to Eye

A poet with an artist’s eye
can conjure words to set the scene.
Then with the words that he’ll supply
his reader feels as though he’s seen.
The same scene which the poet saw
Draws on his own experience
of things that he has seen before
though it makes little difference.
The message that the poet sent
is perhaps not the one received
The reader senses the intent
and finds the poem well conceived.
The picture which the reader gets
is the scene his own mind sets

Funny Things that Happen.

Funny things that happen quite often to me,

Like going shopping for slippers, and come home without;

Or go out in a tshirt, but find it's back to front I see,

Am I going crazy, what's happening should I shout?

Funny things that happen when you go to ring on the phone,

Then sure it's the right number, but a man says I've been here a year;

So you end up finding the man is your neighbor in his home,

So you gasp for an excuse, to get off the line, realizing he's so near.

Funny things that's happened to my dad one day,

He couldn't find his glasses, that were on his nose;

Where did you two put them now, is what he did say,

Even when we tried to show him, he was still full of woes.

Funny things had happened to me a while ago,

When I was engaged, a doctor thought I was a wife;

He had not read the history, if he had it would show,

But we just laughed, another funny story to my life.
