Of course, screening for HIV did essentially eliminate the transmission of this virus by transfusions.

Since most of the transmission is sexual transmission, you have a regional or local response to the virus.

Human’s traits
Abundance will not eliminate begging.
Prosperity will not eliminate stealing.
Punishment will not eliminate killing
Availability will not eliminate adultery.
They are all traits we must live with.

At the first screening, there were a lot of areas that we went around and around about. Then we had our second screening. It played better. It's almost a reasonable length film now!

Kill the virus, not us
Kill the virus, not us
Recently this fever is frequently reported
Some even die
People infected by this virus
Range from slum dwellers to farm owners
Even doctors are not spared
Why a very successful film producer
And director too succumbed to this
The blame come on to us, the carriers
We, the Aedes mosquitoes
Thrive on juicy leave saps
And our female members have to have a
Human blood meal
If not for anything else,
For the continuation of our generation
The blood meal is taken early in the morning
Or in the evening with sunlight still being there
We have no clue as to
Whether the person on whom we feed
Suffers an infection of dengue or not
You may not know that
We too get infected by the virus
But we manage well without suffering any symptoms
By the time when all our body fluids
Are enriched with virus it will be
A week or ten days passed
After the blood meal from the infected person
This is when we become real carriers
We have the potential to infect a healthy person
With dengue virus if we happen to bite that person
We are just carriers, not knowing what we carry
Blaming us only is unfair
You hurriedly take measures to eliminate our species
It is not at all possible
We brave all your biological weapons
And you may not be aware that some of us
Have already developed resistance to
Most of your branded repellants and pesticides
We have some of these suggestions
For your staying uninfected by this virus
We admit, we only spread the infection
Remove and clear all such spots
Where we may establish a habitat
We suggest that you use a good mosquito net
And keep us away from you
We repeat, your repellants and pesticides
Are no longer effective against us
Or your genetic stalwarts can engineer
A mutation in us
So that our system itself produces an antigen
Against this virus
And the virus is made non-infective further
Or immunize your people against the virus
Do something with your great scientific effort
To relieve us of this burden around a viral infection
Your mission must be to ensure
That we, the Aedes mosquitoes and you
Have a harmonious co-existence
Kill the cause, not the carriers
Kill the virus, not us

Another interesting field, which is my own, is cofactors, not only to the disease but also to transmission. I am still puzzled by the fact that you get more sexual transmission in some ethnic populations. One way to answer this is to look for genetic factors.

Increased and better screening for explosives is necessary - and Congress should fund it and TSA should implement it as quickly as possible - however that screening doesn't reduce the risk posed by a trained terrorist with an unconventional weapon.

In the transmission of human culture, people always attempt to replicate, to pass on to the next generation the skills and values of the parents, but the attempt always fails because cultural transmission is geared to learning, not DNA.

Art
Occasionally I feel like the walls around are closing in on me
Physically I feel sometimes I need seclusion to be free
The irony at last I see reality is my perception
And my personality is my reflection
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I need to be set free from the smiles that are scarring my skin sarcastically
And ?? seems to comfort and freeze in full around me mentally
The irony at last I see reality is my deception
And my personality is my deflection
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
Can I make it?
I'll try
Can I take it?
I'll try
I've finally healed my wounds and healing the next thing and pouring out of me
The precious success becoming apparently a bigger part of me
I'm looking back at the things I cant remove the past
Ok with me
The future is brighter than I could imagine it to beand#8230;
I must eliminate and change yesterday's
Yesterday's pains today
I must eliminate and change yesterday's

A Twenty-Four Hour Virus
If I were you,
I wouldn't blurt out the first thing...
That came to my head.
I would think it over.
With a giving to it much thought,
Before speaking.
'I agree.'
What?
You do?
'Yes, I agree.
But don't get use to it.
I'm sure I have a twenty-four hour virus.
And you know a virus like that,
Just doesn't last.

Bring Em Back Alive
I was on my way
To the center of the sun
When I lost my wings
And I fell into the crowd
And they carried me
To a hole in the ground
And they burried me
Where no one can see
And no one would be around
I
I am a virus
I
I live in silence
I
I was on my way
To a city in the clouds
When I lost my mind
And I had to settle down
Then I had a dream
Of an island in the sea
Where the lepers die
Where no one survives
Where no one can hear there cries
I
I am a virus
I
I live in silence
I
Just like heathens thinking on our feat
Believe in god
Were one step
Two step
Three steps towards the graveyards
Hello to the memory
It seems that we forgot
I
I am a virus
I
I live in silence
I
I live in silence
Si...el...ence...

I think this is the greatest threat to our republic ever. Not the Depression, not World War II, not the Civil War. This is it … This moment of all these intersecting viruses, of novel coronaviruses and of racial injustice … 402-year-old-virus. And it’s an age-old human virus of lying and misinformation and paranoia and conspiracy. This is the pill that will kill us unless we do something.

The Virus Of Life
I can see you but you can't see me
I could touch you and you wouldn't even feel me
Wait a second and you'll settle down
I'm just waiting 'til you really let your guard down
You're relaxed, you're sublime, you're amazing
You don't even know the danger you're facing
If I'm quiet, I'll slide up behind you
And if you hear me, I'll enjoy trying to find you
I've been with you all day
I'm trying to stay calm
I'm impatient and it's really hard to breathe
I'm going to empty you and fill you in with me
Just keep the violence down
Not yet-Don't make a sound
Oh, God I'm feeling it
It's reaching fever pitch
My skin is caving in
My heart is driving out
No mercy, no remorse
Let nature take its course
Watching-Bring me to my knees
Waiting-I am your disease
Lover-Set my symptom free
Covered-You won't feel a thing
(wait, no, wait, wait, no, wait, wait, not yet, no wait, wait)
I'm sweating through my veins
I'm trying to hold on
It's unbearable, It's almost worse for me
I'm gonna to tear you apart and make you see-Make you see
Watching-Bring me to my knees
Waiting-I am your disease
Lover-Set my symptom free
Covered-You won't feel a thing
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is inside us, The crisis, The knife
It's almost time to play/It's time to be afraid
I can't control the pain/I can't control in vain
Oh God, I'm ready now/You're almost ready now
I'm gonna love you now/I'm gonna put you down
I see you in the dark/I see you all the way
I see you in the light/I see you plain as day
I wanna touch your face/I wanna touch your soul
I wanna wear your face/I wanna burn your soul
Watching-Bring me to my knees
Waiting-I am your disease
Lover-Set my symptom free
Covered-You won't feel a thing
You can't stop me
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is the virus, the virus of life
This is the virus, the virus of life

Virus Of The Mind
Well I was watching this talk show the other day
And on it there was this guy and he was saying
When you let other people tell you whats right
When you leave your instinct and your own truth behind he said
Thats a virus of the mind. thats a virus of the mind
I guess its kind of like losing your sight; for a
Second you think that they might be right, and it
Feeds the doubts you have inside, and it
Almost starts to feel like a crime
To follow your own rhythm and rhyme
Yeah Im pretty happy living in my own sweet time Im pretty happy
And I dont need your virus of the mind
Well I went to this party thing last night
A lot of people I hadnt seen in a long time
And they wanted to know about my life,
But making me feel like it wasnt quite right
Like wheres your kids and wheres your car?
I said I dont have either but I have a guitar
And I ended up feeling like I was a freak
So I found some wine and something to eat
And I talked to a dog to pass the time
Told myself Im doing fine,
Its just a virus of the mind
Its just a virus of the mind
Yeah Im pretty happy living in my own sweet time Im pretty happy
And I dont need your virus of the mind
Its in the deep of your soul
Its on the tip of your tongue
Its the feeling you get when you feel young
Its in the sound of the beat
Its in the base of your spine
Its in your gut reaction, yeah every time
But they tell you what you should have,
They tell you who you should be
Its in the picturesand ads and in the magazines
Im kicking it off like a bug in the breeze
cause is anyone out there inside me?
I said is anyone out there inside me?
I say is anyone?

Questions have also arisen about AIDS being transmitted to hemophiliacs via blood transfusions.

On AIDS
Why get the stigma by your carelessness?
Why hold your life and that of others’ in harness?
Why spread the virus through life-saving blood?
Why pluck a flower when ’tis just a bud?
A victim like yourself, why make your spouse?
Why disturb harmony of your own house?
Why pass the virus to your new-born child?
The disease has no cure and could run wild!
The AIDS virus does not spare anyone;
The victim will meet his/ her grave quite soon;
Others around them too suffer (no less):
The curse could leave many a life in mess!
Go test your blood if you have slightest doubt;
Good change of life, counseling brings about;
Adhere to ART for life and live;
Promising future, new vaccines could give!
