In speaking of Jesus, I must speak about Christianity because I do not think it possible or profitable to divide the two.

Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue with that; I'm right and I will be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now; I don't know which will go first - rock and roll or Christianity.

Blind Faith
(09/19/11)
I was always taught that JESUS CHRIST was a Jew.
Then there is a question that I must ask of you.
If he was a Jew- did he have a bar-mitzvah?
Or was he just put on this earth
So Christianity could give birth?
At the age of twelve he sat down
with rabbi’s and teachers
For this was the way that he would reach us.
His cousin JOHN THE BAPTIST
Was baptizing people with water.
Was this the first step of GODS orders?
Questions such as these will always arise
But I know he’s always by my side.
Christianity was born on blind faith
Most get it early - while others get it late.
This blind faith is passed down from
Generation to generation
This has become our salvation.
Unlike scientist who only believe in what
Can be seen and what can be proven, they ask
How can blind faith keep one moving.
Now JESUS is but one man
Yet his face is in every land.
There is not one person in any religion
Known more than CHRIST.
It makes you think - not once but twice.
This is how fast Christianity has spread
That he is known world wide
And on blind faith we do rely.
As for GOD there is only one
And he gave us his only son.

Faith in the Air
I grew in Christianity
With faith to the Divinity
Always in church to pray
And sing songs His way
Such times are often zestful
Have keep my faith quite truthful
As I persist each day in the Lord
Speaking the tongue of His word
Even when adversity strikes
My heart, mind and body alike
Are strong with my faith intact
For Jesus is with me quite exact

The Christian cannot be satisfied so long as any human activity is either opposed to Christianity or out of connection with Christianity. Christianity must pervade not merely all nations but also all of human thought.

Salvation
how many Jesus's does it take?
rock n roll Jesus, civil rights Jesus,
sexual Jesus, Baptist Jesus,
Pentecostal snake Jesus...
heroin Jesus, small town family Jesus,
necklace Jesus, tattoo Jesus,
illegal immigrant Jesus...
Jesus on the cross in a drunk tank Jesus,
Marlboro Jesus, county fair Jesus,
pray for Armagadden Jesus...
or just a man,
living one day, one moment,
one bare naked dirty human need
at a time...
with open hands, open heart,
and open mind!

I Believe In Jesus
Ran into mother mary down on line
Street in l.a.
She was preaching the gospel
She was singing how jesus saves
When a crowd of passing tourists
Looked to see what they could see
You know before they know it she had
Them all down on their knees
I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I already been through hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
Now jesus was a little lamb, his fleece
Was white as snow
And every where that jesus went
This lamb is sure to go
Well I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I saved my soul from going to hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
Look at the sheep cause theyre
Running fast
They wanna make it through the gates
At last
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
I believe in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus.....

Honestly speaking
Honestly speaking
~
You can say what you like
To myself or the bus driver
To the man in the shop
I doubt he even cares
But honestly speaking
Where honesty’s concerned
You need to speak to yourself
Clear and forthright
You can’t hide behind a lie
It will haunt you
That secret truth you denied
To yourself and to others
It’s inescapable
So speak up and be open
Be honest at least to yourself
If not me, the next man
Or the one after him
It’s yourself, it’s you
You will always know
And knowing is hard work
So being honest, honestly
You can say what you like
As long as you’re true
To you and yourself
In the very end

God Speaks In Many Ways
God speaks to us in many ways, many times throughout our days.
In our trials The Lord may send, a comforting word through a friend,
During that special time of need, God may use them to plant a seed.
A tiny seed sown just for that trial, that will cause your heart to smile.
God may send a friend to impart, words of wisdom into your heart.
God can even speak in the night, even when there’s no one in sight.
God will use the events of life, to draw you closer unto Jesus Christ.
For God is still quite active friend, speaking to the hearts of all men.
Almost anyone The Lord can use, to impart to men His Good News.
And when you truly come to Him, He’s with you through thick and thin.
God begins with you New Life, and talks to you through Jesus Christ.
For Jesus Christ is the Living Word, on this earth until all have heard.
The blessed news of Jesus Christ, that He came to grant Eternal Life.
And He gives you His Holy Spirit, to grasp the Word when you hear it.
Through The Word He will guide, Christians to walk close by His side.
For through The Word He speaks to you, as your life becomes anew.
Through the changes in your life, you shall hear the voice of Christ.
And as a shepherd always near, His voice you’ll hear loud and clear.
So when Christ calls, follow Him, and He will lead you from your sin.
And He will speak to you my friend, and Eternal Life will be your end.
The primary source of the appeal of Christianity was Jesus - His incarnation, His life, His crucifixion, and His resurrection.

Sonnet: The Name of Jesus…
The name of Jesus gives us grace anew;
The name of Jesus cures minds of evils;
The name of Jesus portrays divine view;
The name of Jesus drives away devils.
The name of Jesus works great miracles;
The name of Jesus brings solace to all;
The name of Jesus flashes parables;
The name of Jesus makes a clarion call!
The name of Jesus wards off dangers great;
The name of Jesus acts like holy knives!
The name of Jesus changes sad a fate;
The name of Jesus saves all sinners’ lives.
The name of Jesus will convert a soul;
The name of Jesus leads souls to God’s goal!

Merry X-mas?
Say Christ at Christmas, men pause, isn’t it about Santa Claus?
Isn’t he that one, who comes, for all of our daughters our sons,
Bringing presents for everyone, creating for us all, holiday fun?
Say that Jesus is the ultimate Gift; simply creates a spiritual rift,
A gift for whom, they may say, even though it is Christmas Day,
Is not Christmas all about toys, for our precious girls and boys?
Mention at all the baby Jesus; they reply, He is not for all of us,
Speaking of Christ, He’s the one, who came down for everyone,
The only Son of The Eternal God, sent from Heaven to this sod.
Speaking of the Man Jesus Christ, you will create political strife,
For we must be politically correct, not to mention at all that sect,
Christ is never to be spoken of, during a season that we all love.
Mention at Christmas the Savior, many don’t believe in a Creator,
Accountability, they have none; they have no regard for His Son,
Christ, being the one they need, Christmas Truth they don’t heed.
Just mention at Christmas Calvary, they say what about the tree?
The one on which He was crucified, when for all, the Savior died?
Even all who’ve yet to believe, yes, God’s Truth they can receive.
Friend, what is the exact reason, we have the Christmas Season?
It’s not for presents, but God’s Son, Who was born for everyone,
And Jesus Christ is His name, Who, well before Christmas came!

O Jesus
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one who was the Word of God…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came and was always in the Thoughts of God…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who was born of the Virgin Mary…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, and peace be upon his mother Mary…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one who the Holy Spirit of God was given…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one who in the name of God, casted out demons…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one they said slanderous things about…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, the one they tried to blot out…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came and was sinless…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came to the temple and became relentless…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came to the Israelites to teach them the Gospel…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, who came and did things that were impossible…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who is the Prophet and Christ…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who the Scriptures prophesised…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who Almighty God raised up…
O Jesus, peace be upon him, he who Almighty God will send back and amaze us.
