It breaks my heart to see these young, really talented bands getting chewed up into the system. I remember a time if you'd signed to a major label it was such a sell out! But now... unless you've signed to a big label, you're a failure now.

Label me Not
Label me not
because the color
of my skin.
Label me not
whether I'm fat
or thin.
Label me not
because of my
religious belief.
Label me not
whether I'm strong
or weak.
Label me not
because of
my disability.
Label me not
just except me
for me
Eminem is more like a friend. And I'm also a fan on Eminem.

They told me that they are starting a classic label, and wanted me to be the first artist. So I signed, and am producing myself, and writing my own music, but I'm their first artist on their classic label. And I have creative control.

My friend who is no longer here
My friend who is no longer here
Death by change my friend
Who is no longer here
My friend you change for good not for bad
You quit drinking and smoking
What began the ticking to you grave
1/01/09 my friend who is no longer alive
I’m hoping you where in god’s hands
When you disappeared
That day you change my friend's
When I wish you didn’t
You did it for your job and family and friends
You died being sobsober
Sad with the pain in your chest
I can’t see or hear you any more my friend
It kills me when I say
It kills me when I think your name
It kills me when I remember that day
When you vanish in thin air
The past is just a past my friend who is no longer here
I’ll stay to say my good byes
for soon I lye next to you
For soon I pray I’ll see and hear you once again
This is about my friend who died 1-01-09 at 1: 37pm

Theres No Label In Me
I have no label,
I have a life to live,
I have a family that cares for me,
Why label yourself,
Why choose to be emo, goth, prep, or whatever,
Why,
Can you answer that yourself,
Can find the answers I seek in this poem,
I have no label,
I am me,
I have found me,
My life is a cycle,
It runs around in circles,
Theres no label in me,
Don't label yourself until you know what your are or who you are.

Actually, we got signed in November of 2000 with Dreamworks which is the most amazing label. We have friends on other labels and though we are not selling millions of records, yet, they treat us with tons of respect and give us some very good guidance.
A Good Friend She Was
A good friend she was
Would be there for me
Through ups or downs
A good friend she was.
A good friend she was
We laughed and had fun
Her smile was the best
A good friend she was.
A good friend she was
Her caring was amazing
Her love of life showed
A good friend she was.
A good friend she was
Kept her spirits up in pain
Never showed her hurts
A good friend she was.
A good friend she was
Even up until the end
Put my hand on her heart
A good friend she was.
A good friend she was
I will treasure the memories
Of all the joy we shared
A good friend she was.
*Dedicated to my very best friend Maryann whose spirit lives on because you really can't destroy goodness

All You Need
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The loneliness disappears.
Reminiscing when you are near.
Strength erases every fear.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
It's the womans struggle.
It's the womans fight.
After years of both physical and mental abuse.
Therapy is of no use.
You just need.
You just need....
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
No longer the victim.
In times of desperation.
In times of exhaustion.
In times of, In so many times of
All you really need.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The fire burns this midnight hour.
And the reflection brings so many feeling of both the bitter and sour.
Be careful because depression will devour.
Don't cut your self off from the world.
No never, all you really need.
Oh all the really need.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
The friend.
The motivator.
And everything is good again.
And all you have to do is ask.
And we will be right there so fast.
No matter the time or the place.
Because we love you and we always will.

Twenty Zero One
2001 - where do I belong
I got my mind but I dont know where my head has gone
2001 - baby where you been
Its pornographic, internet, traffic on my screen
2001 - shes just a maniac
Its not for me but my baby really needs a crack
2001 - dont want the sex to stop
I took a pill now its killing me to keep it up
2001 - I know whats goin on
You wanna take my soul and change it for another one
2001 - those liquid crystal eyes, they really suit you honey
Let me get them in your size
2001 - by 2032 you can be me, and with a little luck
I can be you
2001 - let me bless you son
Help you believe with my semi-automatic gun

Differences between a Good Friend and a Bad Friend
A good friend would wait for you;
So you could both walk to the bus;
A bad friend would just leave impatient;
“I’d rather go hang with Gus.”
A good friend would help with a chore;
Even if it’s taking out the trash;
A bad friend would just smirk;
“If only you gave me cash.”
A good friend would listen;
To whatever you have to say;
A bad friend would cover your mouth;
“Quit blabbering away! ”
A good friend would say “Come on over.”
Whenever you feel like you’re alone;
A bad friend would yell at your face;
“Just go on back home! ”
A good friend would phone;
To ask how you are;
A bad friend wouldn’t care;
“Wanna go to the bar? ”
A good friend will cheer you up;
Whenever you feel sad;
A bad friend would laugh;
“Well, that’s just too bad.”
A good friend would stand up for you;
When blamed for a crime;
A bad friend would walk away;
“Oh look at the time.”
A good friend would come to your funeral;
And leave flowers in your wake;
A bad friend would blow it off;
“It was his mistake! ”

Make no mistake about it: once a band has signed a letter of intent, they will either eventually sign a contract that suits the label or they will be destroyed.

Personally, I still don’t really know what progressive means. In some people’s minds if a piece of music is over 10 minutes long, it automatically gets the label of being progressive. I always enjoy playing arrangements kind of in a classical format, which is in movements. To me, music is either good or bad; it doesn’t matter what the label is. The kind of progressive label that I don’t like is the one that involves lyrics that quote dancing gnomes, Stonehenge and fairytales.

The Good Friend (Revised)
The good friend
Is always there
Is always faithful
Is always supportive
The good friend
Loves unconditionally
Forgives easily
Forgets every wrong
The good friend
Cries over you
Cries for you
Cries with you
The good friend
Gets hurt
Gets walked on
Gets left behind
The good friend
Keeps her heart open
Keeps smiling
Keeps her promises
The good friend
Never gives up
Never stops being true
Never fades away
The Good friend
Is who I am
Who I always want to be
Who you can always trust to be there with a smile and open arms.
Its hard,
But I am the good friend.

What It Takes To Be A Good Friend
A good friend is always kind,
Should always speak their mind,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
A good friend is there for you,
They are real, they are true- blue,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
A good friend will be there when you marry,
A heart full of memories, they will carry,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
They'll be there if your father dies,
They'll weep with you when you cry,
Their compassion should never end,
That's what it takes to be a good friend.
If a good friend you do find,
Make sure they treat you kind,
Understanding they shouldn't lack,
And they would never stab you in the back,
On top of everything always remember,
A best friend is forever.

I mean I like pop music, and I like heavy music and, stuff that I like... the band I've signed on to our label right now; they're called The Sounds. They're kind of like a new-wave pop band.
