Palisades Park
Run run runnin all the rides are runnin
Run run runnin all the rides are runnin
Last night I took a walk in the dark
A steamin place called palisades park
Turned around to see what I could see
Thats where the girls are
I took a ride on a shoopby shoo
The girl I sat beside was awful cool
And when we start I gave that girl a hug
My heart was flyin
Up like a rocket ship
Down like a roller coaster
Left like a loopdy loop
And around like a merry go round
We ate and ate at a hot dog stand
We danced around to a rockin band
And we we quit I gave that girl a hug
In the tunnel of love
You never know how great a kiss can be
Until you stop at the bottom of a ferris wheel
In the tunnel of love down at palisades park
Run run runnin all the rides are runnin
Yeah
Oh my god
Those coconuts are bad in the ass damn (? ? ? )
We ate and ? ? ? at a hot dog stand
We danced around to a rockin band
And we we quit I gave that girl a hug
In the tunnel of love
You never know how great a kiss can be
Until you stop at the bottom of a ferris wheel
In the tunnel of love down at palisades park
Run run runnin all the rides are runnin
Down at palisades park
Run run runnin all the rides are runnin
Down at palisades park
Run run runnin all the rides are runnin
Down at palisades park

Divided
I joined people on the sidewalk
to watch a house with broken foundation,
cracked glass, separated walls, a house about to fall. It perched
on a hill that was not right, with others
like a row of dominoes. So unlike
my house, facing the Pacific
surrounded by spurge and
sand. A house cannot
stand when divided
against itself.

You Look Cute Today
Darling daughter, when on the phone,
I usually say, 'You look cute today.'
Bet you're wondering all on your own,
'Without seeing me, there’s no way.'
'Hair's a mess; no make-up in sight;
These jeans have seen a better day.
I can't be cute. That's not right.
What a thing for dear dad to say.'
Maybe I'm thinking how cute you were
At one, ten, twenty and more…
Sweet and kind with a beautiful mind
And a countenance for all to adore.
Even on the phone or when I'm alone,
I'm right each time I say that
I love you and miss you
And have no doubt that…
You look cute today!

Hawaii has always been a very pivotal role in the Pacific. It is in the Pacific. It is a part of the United States that is an island that is right here.

All Day Long
All day long in fog and wind,
The waves have flung their beating crests
Against the palisades of adamant.
My boy, he went to sea, long and long ago,
Curls of brown were slipping underneath his cap,
He looked at me from blue and steely eyes;
Natty, straight and true, he stepped away,
My boy, he went to sea.
All day long in fog and wind,
The waves have flung their beating crests
Against the palisades of adamant.

Upstairs In My House
No one knows what I can see and and what I see it pleases me on my roof
South pacific hot sea pool, coney island amusement school for mispent youth
Its all in my own front yard, seagulls grazing in the park and foreshore
South-east wind pins back my ears, luna park lights up the years of painless days
I like it, upstairs in my house
Dealers selling junk and trash, people spend their hard earned cash on sundays
Its quiet when they fade away, westgate bridge breakes up the day, into red sky
I like it, upstairs in my house, upstairs in my house
No one knows what I can see and what I see it pleases me on my roof
I like it, upstairs in my house, upstairs in my house

Guy Has The Best
Guy with no last name is the best,
He is a way, way above the rest.
For they are not in his stratosphere,
He has cute eyes, and a cute rear.
I have the experience I'm totally sincere.
I imagined me flying in to see him,
on one of my many trips,
pay him to be a masseuse
and massage my hips.
Hey, you have to have an entourage
Guy with no last name has a great sausage.
Italian sausage that is,
That was the favorite dinner in my house as a kid.
My cousins where Italians so we picked it up from them.
I digress, yes, Guy is the best, I do confess.

The Pacific Age
The pacific age
Is growing strong
Its arms embrace witth a killing grace
It shakes your hand as it takes your place
The modern age
Like a slow revenge
A wave that breaks over distant shores
It begs for mercy
And it take some more and more and more
The pacific age
Comes down like rain
Washing over us again and again
Its spreading west
Like a speeding train
As the wheels slow down and we lose the game
The pacific age
Tells no lies
A dream that calls like an open door
It keeps you hoping
And it takes some more and more and more
The pacific age
Comes down like rain
Washing over us again and again
Its spreading west
Like a speeding train
As the wheels slow down and we lose the game
The pacific age
Comes down like rain
Washing over us again and again
Its spreading west
Like a speeding train
As the wheels slow down and we lose the game
The pacific age
Has no regrets
It feeds on dreams
It wins its bets
A new dawn breaks from east to west
And the plans we made stop making sense
The pacific age
It calls your name
It bites you hand, you feel no pain
And racing home. you run in vane
As your heart slows down and you lose the game

If everybody had an ocean
Across the u.s.a.
Then everybodyd be surfin

Youd seem em wearing their baggies

A bushy bushy blonde hairdo
Surfin u.s.a.
Youd catch em surfin at del mar

Santa cruz and trestle
Australias narabine
All over manhattan
And down doheny way
Everybodys gone surfin
Surfin u.s.a.
Well all be planning that route
Were gonna take real soon
Were waxing down our surfboards
We cant wait for june
Well all be gone for the summer
Were on surfari to stay
Tell the teacher were surfin
Surfin u.s.a.
Haggerties and swamies
Pacific palisades
San anofree and sunset
Redondo beach l.a.
All over la jolla
At waimia bay
Everybodys gone surfin
Surfin u.s.a.
Everybodys gone surfin

Southern Pacific
Down the mountainside
To the coastline
Past the angry tide
The mighty diesel whines.
And the tunnel comes
And the tunnel goes
Round another bend
The giant drivers roll.
I rode the highball
I fired the daylight
When I turned sixty-five
I couldnt see right.
It was mr. jones,
Weve got to let you go
Its company policy
Youve got a pension though.
Roll on, southern pacific
On your silver rails
On your silver rails
Roll on, southern pacific
On your silver rails
Through the moonlight.
I put in my time
I put in my time
Now Im left to roll
Down the long decline.
I aint no brake man
Aint no conductor
But I would be though
If I was younger.
Roll on, southern pacific
On your silver rails
On your silver rails
Roll on, southern pacific
Roll on, on your silver rails.

The Houses
1898 -- A Song of the Dominions
'Twixt my house and thy house the pathway is broad,
In thy house or my house is half the world's hoard;
By my house and thy house hangs all the world's fate,
On thy house and my house lies half the world's hate.
For my house and thy house no help shall we find
Save thy house and my house -- kin cleaving to kind;
If my house be taken, thine tumbleth anon.
If thy house be forfeit, mine followeth soon.
'Twixt my house and thy house what talk can there be
Of headship or lordship, or service or fee?
Since my house to thy house no greater can send
Than thy house to my house -- friend comforting friend;
And thy house to my house no meaner can bring
Than my house to thy house -- King counselling King.

Transitions....
at first the house is one kind of a party
more friends are coming
you even let the mailman to have a drink
and stay for a while
though he has nothing to say just like
the masons and some carpenters
then the house was almost burned
there was so much panic that day
the whole village talked about it for weeks
of course, the house as usual is silent like
most rocks
to regain its solidity
it listens to the refreshes of the sea breeze
it resumes its pacific nature
facing the sea and learning from the past storms
then something so horrible happens
but no one in the house is telling about it
the pillars shook and some walls gave in
a part of the roof was taken by the hurricane
but the house is still in tact
changes come into play
the gates are closed
the mailman is having a hard time pressing the door bell
the mail box is broken
and some thieves are anticipating that someday
they can get in and make their presence felt
perhaps to take
what is essential
what they did not know is that
no one lives in this house anymore
all the memories are put into boxes and kept in the cellars
the house has become one mummified pharaoh
a pyramid that points to the sun
the village only talks about the built-in mysteries
it is one kind of a cadaver surrounded by flowers
whose heart has been removed a few days ago
and then the talk stops
and that was only when the last prayer was said.

A Waltz Of Blue Smiles
Please read it on a waltz rhythm: One! two, three...
She's losing her house
She's losing her house
And what what what what
She does?
A poem she writes
Paints both of her eyes
And feet in dark blue
then she cries:
I'm loosing my house
I'm loosing my house
There's nothing to do
Oh mine!
I'm loosing my house
I'm loosing my house
Blue eyes and blue feet
Oh, sweet!
Why are you so sweet
Why are you so sweet
Blue eyes blue face
and blue feet?
Her handkerchief fly
Slow searching the sky
blue rivers of tears
got dry.
On a smile smiley
cheek
colours pass through
With tears and fears
Of blue.
She's losing her house
That's sad very sad
But we know she'll survive
And smile.
Blue cute sign became
In a book of one poem
blue fears, blue tears in
origami folded again.. Insane? ! ..
